They kindly offered samples of their new menu items: pulled pork, corned beef, chili, and pastrami.Seems like they're expanding from a typical chicken spot to include homemade barbecue and NYC deli classics.Ended up enjoying the pastrami and rye with coleslaw and a side of chili. All well-seasoned, with the pastrami as a standout. Recommend it for homesick New Yorkers craving a taste of Katz's. We'll definitely return next time we're in New Canaan.“

“I am married to a Russian woman and we love coming here because they offer such great Russian and Ukrainian products. We love their selection of foods because it reminds us of food from her home country. We love their Kvass and Syrok and sunflower seeds. We also love their freshly made salads. They taste so good and they're so authentic. When you go there, you always feel like you're back in Russia or Ukraine. Overall, I would recommend this deli if you want an excellent taste of Slavic food from Eastern Europe. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!“

I called ahead and my order was ready on time.The American combo consisted of ham, roast beef, in turkey with American cheese, lettuce, and tomato on a grinder roll. “Ate here on a Saturday morning around 9am. Most people got food to go while we were there, but you can dine-in. They have more seating around the corner, but they only opened half of the front part. High chairs are available-they were around the corner, not in plain view. It wasn't on the menu, but they were able to make a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese on a roll for my partner. My partner enjoyed the sandwich. I had a breakfast burrito with long slices of chorizo. I liked that the burrito was grilled so the outside was crispy. It would have been better if the cheese was more evenly distributed and there were too many potatoes for my preference. But still a solid and filling burrito. I could only finish half of it. Staff were friendly and nice.“

It is usually the RB Bandit (Chicken cutlet sliced with potato cones, blue cheese dressing, and hot sauce on a wrap.) Or the Joe Co (Chicken cutlet, potato cones, bacon, jack cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and honey mustard on a wrap.) My favorite is the California Roll Up! So good!
