“Joe's has the best pizza in Connecticut! I always get a small "NY Style Cheese Pizza" with Pepperoni that can easily feed two people. RéNapoli (Margherita Pizza) is a second choice fave pizza in Connecticut. I'm unsure about Connecticuters' love of Connecticut Hot Oil Pizza at Riko's, and Sally's Apizza or Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana but not my taste.“
“My co-worker told me about this place, and I definitely had to check it out. What a delicious looking selection of pastries! I'm personally not a sweets person but was having a craving today! Stopped in for a slice of tiramisu, and wow, was it delicious! Best I've ever had! They also serve food, and I hear it's amazing! Will definitely be back for lunch!“
“Many accolades go out to General Manager, Darien Jensen and his wait staff at the Le Pain Quotidien in New Canaan, CT, at 81 Elm St. I worked with Darien, the corporate Marketing Department and his staff in planning and executing a surprise 90th Birthday Brunch Celebration for my 90 year old Aunt and Uncle of New Canaan. We were a group of 20 relatives and friends from Connecticut, New York, Florida and as far away as the West Coast who have not seen each other in many years. What a joy and surprise for my Aunt and Uncle when they entered the restaurant to see so many dear family members and friends. There was great communication between Darien and myself over several months of planning the many details of this event. Details such as location and table set up; the baskets of the absolutely delicious muffins and pastries to start off the group; the selections of brunch items for the group and many other details. The marketing department created a menu of my chosen selections, headed and entitled with my celebrations theme and printed 20 up just for us! Extra attention from the wait staff was given from start to finish. All my guests were very pleased and happy with the menu choices and the quality and amount of the food. And I was very excited about the total cost of this delicious brunch which was very reasonable for 20 participants. I researched several other New Canaan restaurants: many cost much more per person, had minimums or were inflexible. I am so very happy that I selected Le Pain Quotidian for this birthday surprise for my aunt and uncle. After all, reaching 90 years of age is a definite reason to celebrate !“
“I can not say enough about this place. The food was incredibly fresh with a lot of amazing options. They had a lot of different things that I would never think to put on my salad. The owner Jamie explained everything that he was doing step by step and offered his advice. They have so many options. I personally don’t like anything spicy but they have something for everyone. I had salmon, shrimp with avacado, corn, pinapple, mango with an avacado crème sauce, it was delectable. It’s healthy and the taste is amazing and my meal even came with a little dole whip of coconut and vanilla to clean my palate. Will be returning.“
“The food was amazing as usual. And the service is excellent!!Vegetarian options: There are pasta options, salads, and apps that are vegetarian. Also gluten-free optionsDietary restrictions: They can prepare things to specifications.Parking: They have a limited number of parking spaces. But the food is worth parking elsewhere and walking.“
“If you are looking for a great Vegetarian or Vegan meal then look no further. Layla's Falafel is the best.....The owner is friendly and makes you feel like part of the family. The staff is gracious and I never feel I have to wait very long for my food. The food is delicious, I specifically love the Jerusalem Falafel!“
“Best way to celebrate Easter! My family had amazing time eating delicious food, chatting and connecting. Our hostess, Monique, made the evening even more enjoyable by being attentive, accurate and just so sweet and welcoming. Thank you, Monique, for being such a wonderful addition to our dinner at Outback Steakhouse in Wilton! I really hope you will be serving us on our next visit.“
“best cupcakes i’ve ever had! the red velvet is my favorite and my go-to! i love how everything is gluten free and they are very understanding with any allergies! The best place for sweets and no matter the distance I will always come here! The place itself is always clean and the staff is very friendly! this place is amazing and i guarantee you that you won’t regret trying their treats!“
“My wife and I are foodies. For the past five years, this is our favorite restaurant in Connecticut, worth every penny. The tables may be small and crowded and the wine selection is very limited, but flavors are amazing, as is the variety of unexpected choices. We're hooked on some dishes, but I encourage you to explore the entire menu. You won't be disappointed.“
“We walked in early on a Saturday evening to see if they had a table for 4 (after the restaurant we had originally booked looked grim...) and were immediately greeted with warmth and professionalism. They offered to create a 4 top for us in a quiet corner and whisked us to the table. The service and food that followed were both terrific. A great lesson in hospitality. Make people feel welcome and feed them terrific, straight forward food with attentive but not overbearing service and reasonable prices!“
