“Joe's has the best pizza in Connecticut! I always get a small "NY Style Cheese Pizza" with Pepperoni that can easily feed two people. RéNapoli (Margherita Pizza) is a second choice fave pizza in Connecticut. I'm unsure about Connecticuters' love of Connecticut Hot Oil Pizza at Riko's, and Sally's Apizza or Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana but not my taste.“
“Was looking for a pizza place in town that had wood fire pizza ovens with thicker crust. This place is awesome! The pizza was delicious, we had the mushroom pizza (New England) I think? And then we had the fried calamari and the crispy cauliflower, which was my favorite! It's not a huge restaurant though, it's smaller but they do have a patio as well. The service was friendly and quick. We will definitely come back again when we are in town!“

“We had a Thanksgiving dinner at our son's house in New Canaan. We ordered the turkey and trimmings from Silvermine, as we had taken our grandkids there for lunch, and we're happy with the wraps and pancakes. The turkey, 18 pounds, was the absolute best turkey that any of us had ever had. It was moist, and truly delicious. The stuffing was perfect, as well, and every one of us had seconds or thirds!!! Thank you, Silvermine, for the very best Thanksgiving dinner!!!“
“Very good pizza and a great crust with a distinctive New Haven char. Quite pricey for what you get though. The taste wasn't quite there for me, which is why I rate it four stars. The real attraction at Dante's are their fresh scrumptious cookies if you ask me. I'd definitely drive out of my way to buy more of those!“
