It was my First time coming here today and I was so impressed. I came with my family of about 10 and we tried so many dishes, all of them were fantastic. My favorites were the yucca fries and truffle dipping sauce, chicarons sliders and the Lomo Saltado. It was so good as soon as I got back home to Stamford I checked to see if they deliver lol.

The most delicious food and the best employees! I always get nervous bringing my baby to a restaurant, but he was welcomed with open arms and treated extremely well. I can’t recommend Pesca enough!

My review is based on takeout. Was in town and wanted to check this place out. The restaurant is very clean! It's beautiful and the staff were very friendly.I ordered the spicy pork and pineapple empanadas- I personally didn't enjoy them. I didn't find them spicy, and I did not see or taste any pineapple. They were cooked perfectly.  Would definitely try another flavor next time. Also ordered the Lomo Saltado - sauteed sliced beef, onions, peppers, fresh tomatoes, scallions, home fries, and white rice with choclo. I asked for the French fries to be separate, and they were kind enough to do so. They were so good! Not your average French fry. Definitely house made and really good flavor. The steak was delicious! Loved that they gave a side of juice to add to the fries and meat. The vegetables added a nice and fresh touch.Would definitely love to come and eat in the restaurant.

While the food and atmosphere was great, the service was slow and it felt like they forgot we were there! Got menus, waiter came back to take our food order while half of our table haven’t order drinks yet, food took a long time and had to get the waiter’s attention to get refills on our drinks. Waiter didn’t come to check how everything was until we were almost done. Were never offered dessert or coffee. Very disappointed for a restaurant in New Canaan especially when we were celebrating a birthday. Coming from someone who worked in hospitality, I don’t think they’ll be around for long.

Pesca is an outstanding restaurant with authentic Peruvian food plus gracious service. Our group of 5 had many great dishes: the most outstanding for me was QUINOA CRUSTED YELLOW FIN TUNA withroasted sweet potato, sauteed spinach, white shrimp spring roll, Capón street, soy vinaigrette. A generous portion of perfect tuna was enhanced by the crunch quinoa crust and the flavors of the accompanying vegetable and their sauce. The ceviches were great, but the Ceviche Quinoa Tarter, while generous amounts of exquisite tuna, needed some lime juice (which we finally requested) to spice up its great natural flavors. Everyone loved their individual dishes, especially the spicier salmon and shrimp ceviche and the other main dishes and soup. Pisco sours were authentic and excellent, but the flan was disappointingly bland and perhaps too firm, not custardy. The ambiance is quite pleasant and casual and the service was excellent. We highly recommend this basement find and look forward to an early return..

Maybe the best food in New Canaan and I have lived in town for 25 years!!! The best Duck that I have ever had that is so moist it melts in your mouth. Large portions and reasonable prices, a must visit!!!

Too cold to eat outside where the atmosphere is nicer. Inside is a little stark. But the food, especially Lomo Saltado, is excellent and the service professional and friendly.

I take Pilates next to this restaurant and assumed it was a take out place based on the neon open sign. Think nail salon! Anyway, saw some good reviews and decided to try. Loved it! From the fresh bread to start served with yummy green sauce and some kind of roasted corn, to the generous serving of seafood in the paella, we were so pleased. Also, the luscious sour was my autentico. Pisco sour.
