I was new to The Study and my first time dinning at the bar was great... Fabulous Caesar salad very good Chardoney... Diffinately a place to go if one wants to look cool chic and with it!
The atmosphere is very “student lounge” which was cool being so close to Yale. The Shakshouka delicious. The Bloody Mary was also excellent. French toast was a big hit. BUT it took about 20 mins to get the drinks we ordered when we were seated and then another 20-25 mins to put in our order. After the meal, the server brought over our check. He said maybe 5 words to us the entire time we were there.+ good food and drinks- high prices and sub-par service

This is a spacious open feeling restaurant with a good bar and spread out tables. The food is upscale but not over-priced (though what isn't anymore). The feel is you're welcome here and you can dress up or down. It's part of a hotel so a mix of interesting people. Yale parents, business people, locals.
