“A New London staple! If you live here, you can disregard this review because you probably already know how good it is, and I would just be preaching to the choir. If you're new to the area, though, or just passing through- you need to check this place out asap. I've always loved coming here for a comfort meal, but it wasn't until a family trip to Charleston, SC until I truly appreciated how lucky I was to have Neon Chicken right in my backyard. We visited a restaurant down there that had been getting national coverage for how good their rotisserie chicken was. It had been on famous TV shows and had received plenty of accolades. To be clear, it did live up to the hype! But my family and I all agreed: It's great, but it's not as good as Neon. The service there is impeccable, always fast and friendly. The restaurant itself is very casual, with plenty of seating to enjoy your meal. My go-to order is a breast and thigh plate, mac and cheese, stuffing, and of course a piece of their corn bread. There's nothing that hits the spot quite like it on these chilly winter days.“

“I LOVE the food here. The jambalaya is absolutely incredible and so are the collard greens. I can't stop ordering the same thing here because I love it so much. The staff are also extremely friendly and welcoming, even when they're busy.“
“We were a group of 5 in bit of rush to catch the ferry but came across this as we wanted to grab a quick bite before the ferry. Melora at Little Galapagos was the most fantastic server. She was amazingly helpful with the menu, quick with drinks and food, and went way above and beyond on service level. This was a completely random find for us and we were so glad we came here. “Not your regular restaurant. We stopped for brunch on our way to the Orient Point ferry. What a wonderful surprise it was. Everything served is way above the standard quality of regular and even fine restaurants, for a very moderate price. I wish we would have a place like this closer to home!“
“I am traveling alone for work and am back it CT. I was warmly welcomed and offered to sit at the counter. There were some empty tables and I asked if I could sit at a table. I understand that being the weekend those are reserved for larger parties. However, I was allowed to sit at a table, and proceeded to place my order. I ordered the #2 which came with two eggs, toast, home fries and a choice of meat.The eggs were perfectly cooked to order. The home fries were flavorful and I decided to forgo the ketchup (which I have used at other establishments in order to give the home fries flavor). The cinnamon raisin toast was perfect. The bacon was crispy. If you are in New London sometime you will not be disappointed if you stopped here for brunch.“
“I’ve visited over 20 Chili’s Bar and Grills, and frequent this one often because it is by far the best Chili’s in the state, maybe even the country. I’ve never sat down and not been greeted by a beautiful kind waitress, and about 75% of the time she will refer to me as baby/babygirl/mama/ and I can’t get enough of it. Dining at this establishment has potential to heal a mother wound if visited frequently enough. Food has always been a 10/10 if I’m the DD you’re better off calling an Uber because boy do they know how to salt a rim. All in all, if you’re driving on i95 and see the glowing red pepper in the distance start moving over into the right lane, exit the highway, and at least just pull in the parking lot to absorb the vibe. Anyone writing a poor review of this Chili’s probably just isn’t very attractive and is holding unnecessary anger inside of them.“
“I came here in the summer time and I had a very nice experience.I met the owner of the restaurant and she was very nice. The food is very fresh and the views are beautiful. I drive 1 hour to come here again because it’s worth the drive. I like to give business to nice people. Highly recommend!“
“The bartending staff is very personable and charming. I have no complaints on the food. I always ordered a cup of chili and some beer and along with the dinners both times they were outstanding. Shout out to the mother and daughter bartending“
“The beautiful bartender greeted me as I stepped in and I knew that Social Bar is a place where one’s satisfaction is guaranteed.I ordered the Mr. Nice Guy burger with a side of Brussels sprouts. The burger was good but the sprouts were perfection!Back to the bartender, after giving me a glass of water while I was waiting, she proved that she knows her products at the bar. I asked her why Jameson whiskey was also stout. She explained it so simply that I, a teetotaler, understood the process.All in all, great place, great food , and outstanding staff!“
“Tonight my wife and I were with a party of ten, our waitress, Haley, was absolutely awesome! Despite our party size, and the fact I'm sure they had other tables to tend to, they were at our table asking if we needed things cleared or anything like that, more often than any other place we have been together. The food has been excellent, just as I'd ordered. The atmosphere is great despite my lack of care for country music haha, but the real winner was the service, Thank you Haley, my wife and I will be back again soon!“
