“A Cozy Spot with Unique FlavorsThe Sloppy Waffle in Newington is always a delightful experience. The menu is quite diverse, offering something for everyone – from sweet to savory. The chicken for the chicken and waffles was perfectly cooked, and the blueberry blast waffle has a burst of flavor that’s personally my favorite!!The service is incredibly friendly and efficient, The self-serve coffee station is a nice touch, ensuring that your cup is as fresh as can be.Overall, The Sloppy Waffle is a charming place that’s worth a visit, whether you’re a local or just passing through. With its unique menu and homey vibe, it’s a spot that stands out in Newington.“
“Was a slight wait upon arrival, staff I believe were waiting until customers cleared on one side to seat us as it was during lunch time hours.Server was friendly and got our drinks ordered and to us on time, food came out within a decent time also and was delicious; as expected.Did ask for a glass of water near to the end of my meal and high was delivered as soon as requested. Overall great service, would come back to this location.“
“My breakfast at Zinneken's Belgian Waffles and Café was fantastic. The ambiance was inviting, the service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. I chose the Belgian waffle with scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, and fresh, well-seasoned ingredients, which was a delightful choice. The Latte I had with my meal was a perfect match. I highly recommend trying Zinneken's Belgian Waffles and Café for a delicious and satisfying breakfast at a very affordable price.I would say the waffles was the headliner.???“
“Eggs Up continues to be the best breakfast place in town. The food is always excellent and they have a great variety on their menu along with good specials. The only downside is that it is a very small restaurant and seating is very limited. During peak times there will usually not be a table free and you may have to wait a while until there is one available. If the crowd waiting is outside the door, you may be better off just finding somewhere else to go unfortunately.“
“I actually go to the location in East Hartford... but both locations are delicious. My buddies and I from work go here at least once a week. The dogs are amazing, as are the burgers. Everything is cooked on the flat top grill, and as such, the burgers are not the big fat variety. If you know that going in, they are perfect. The staff is always very engaging and fun, the food is consistent, and I think the prices are very fair. Give these guys a shot... from breakfast sandwiches to lunch food, I have never been disappointed.“
“Everything is delicious!!! Everything!!The wait staff is the best!Waiting in line is worth it!Remember one line only!! Don't even try to cut! Lol!Wheelchair accessibility: It would be very tight but doable!I'm sure they would help get it done if needed. Its just crowded and the hallway is narrow.“
“I find Rob's kitchen to have a "Homey" feeling to it. The waiters and waitresses always make me feel like I'm part of their family in the way they treat me.The food is contemporary with a Mexican flair to it. I'm unfamiliar with most Mexican cuisine so I usually sample the menu and "Today's" specials. I have to say that the food is amazing and I think of Rob's place as somewhere to go when I want to indulge myself in some quality time and food“
“Had an amazing lunch at Josie’s Corner in Berlin today. The restaurant was very clean and very comfortable, the service was exceptional with a wonderful server, and the food was EXCELLENT! The price was very good and the serving side is huge. Our experience was absolutely perfect. We will be returning soon and intend to go there often. We highly recommend this restaurant and hope our review reaches many. Give this restaurant a try. You will not be disappointed!“
“The place was packed but we didn't have to wait long. Our waitress was great. Even though she had a lot of tables to take care of I didn't feel neglected. The food was good but there were a few issues. The fries were incredibly greasy and the portion was not generous. My egg sandwich was a little on the bland side. Overall everything was good though and I'd definitely go back.Parking: Parking can be a little tough. Some street parking and there's a small lot in the back. I saw a lot of people parked on the side street.“
“I stop in here for to go food all the time, but this Monday morning Isaac's seemed less busy than usual so I grabbed a seat at the counter. I asked if they had corned beef hash since I didn't see it on the menu and it turns out, they do, and it's homemade which they make fresh per order, it was outstanding!!! Treat yourself if you're a fan. The over easy eggs were perfect and the service is always great. Bagels, breakfast, or lunch, lots to love. Definitely stop here when you're in Bloomfield.“
“This is a favorite of ours since moving to the area a few months ago. Large variety of menu items for breakfast and lunch. We've eaten there (inside and on their porch with a beautiful view) and taken it home. Recently I had a large take-out order and asked if I could place it the night before (it was easier because we had a lot going on) and they graciously accommodated me.“
“We’re from NY and were visiting the area. I checked on Yelp for breakfast places and saw Bob’s had good reviews with affordable prices. I’m glad we went here! The decor is pretty bare bones, but very clean. I personally don’t care about decor, but maybe some do. As soon as we walked in, we had two wonderfully cheerful ladies greet us. We told them that we wanted to order takeout. They gave us some menus and took our order right away. We had a seat, waiting for our food and were asked by a couple of different waitresses if we had been helped. One asked us if we wanted coffee while we waited. There were probably about 6 occupied tables when we went, and it seemed like many might have been regulars just based on the conversations they were having with the waitresses. We heard a lot of “Hey Joe, how ya been?” type stuff. I love places like that. Our food came out super quick, less than 10 minutes. The ladies at the hostess stand who took our order made sure that we had everything we needed for condiments and plasticwear. Before we left we also picked up some apple bread that they were selling at the hostess stand for $6 a loaf. I’d definitely recommend it, it was delicious. Prices were super affordable, which is pretty much the main reason why we went there in the first place. We both got French toast and a side of home fries each. Both were very good but we both LOVED the home fries! We actually considered going in and ordering two more helpings lol! They were nice and crispy and were actually seasoned, unlike a lot of breakfast places that just give you bland home fries. If you’re looking for a great breakfast that won’t cost you a ton, give Bobs a try. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.“
“Perfect breakfast bistro in the heart of Old Wethersfield. Super friendly service with a smile, superb bagel sandwich (even the tomato was amazing in mid-winter!), and great coffee. Comfortable seating. If you are in Old Wethersfield at breakfast time, this should be a key stop for you.“
“Stopped in after work at 5AM and Jesus Christ am I glad I did I love how it’s in original form cash only flavorful food. What I admire most about this place were the mixed match coffee cups ?? ABSOLUTELY LOVED THAT when you come get the corn beef hash with over easy TRUST ME!!!!!“
“The highlight of my doctor's visits! I wish I knew to stop by sooner. My OBGYN and my daughter's Clinical Feeding is in the building. I always make sure to visit on my way out. The Firebird is my go to! I love the sauce on it. Always made fresh. Delicious! I always make sure to check out the baked goods! There's almost always something special and different to try! The service is great! They are very friendly and personable. Food is consistently tasty. They really get to know their regulars- and there are a lot of them! It's nice to take a moment to stop and enjoy a hot coffee and some food made with love. It's a bright spot in an otherwise hectic day full of medical visits.“
“Spoke to the owner/mother and her daughter, they're a delight. Funny and personable. My mom and I are on a road trip and we're trying to eat local to each city, HIGHLY recommend if you want a homemade breakfast and a family atmosphere.“
“Loved this as The Whole Donut and love the new S’wiches version. Breakfast sandwiches are excellent. And the pastry? Anyone who thinks their donuts are like Dunkin’ is crazy! Fresh, high quality, interesting and super-tasty donuts that RULE over Dunkin’s, AND the donuts are like twice the size as Dunkin. Get there early on the weekend for an apple fritter. It will blow your tastebuds away! To top it off, the staff is professional and super-friendly. Love these guys!“
“Great breakfast always. Had western omelet with hash and rye toast. My favorite there.Hash is really good as is the omelet. The girls are very friendly and do a great job of ensuring that you are satisfied with your meal. It is a small restaurant and gets filled easily but I have never had to wait. Might be different for a larger group though. Definitely worth trying the place! Reasonable pricing too.“
“Wow first time and I'm coming back again how delicious everything is good service and good food breakfast ? delicious I loved everything on time thank you blessingsKid-friendliness: It has the best place to go with family and childrenWheelchair accessibility: The best spaces for wheelchairs“
“This breakfast spot in Connecticut is hands-down the best! It's family-owned, and they really know how to impress. Fresh food, friendly staff, and quick service - all at a reasonable price. Plus, the owner even swung by our table to check in on us. Definitely a 5/5 experience, this place is a true gem.“
