“Lovely family owned and operated intimate diner. They know their strengths and play them up well. Nice, friendly atmosphere with a family vibe. The patrons all interact with each other like a close-knit community. The food is always of a high quality. You always leave stuffed.Parking: Lots of parking to the rear and side of the building.Kid-friendliness: There is a lovely kids section on the menu. The waitresses all interact with the little ones, and there are high chairs available for the tables if you do not want a booth.“
“I went because they suggested it to me and they were very right! It's the classic American breakfast, they have unlimited coffee. Very good service, the gentleman who served was extremely polite. Delicious dishes and the prices are normal for America. I also asked for a paper cup to take coffee with me because our pot was full and he brought me full cups of coffee for everyone to keep warm. Some people just deserve the tip!!!“
“Great food. I think it's probably the best breakfast sandwich in the area. However, you shouldn't go unless you have a lot of time to wait. It takes 15-20 minutes because everything is made to order with no preprepared components. Quite expensive compared to competitors, but like I said, I prefer it better.“
“I actually go to the location in East Hartford... but both locations are delicious. My buddies and I from work go here at least once a week. The dogs are amazing, as are the burgers. Everything is cooked on the flat top grill, and as such, the burgers are not the big fat variety. If you know that going in, they are perfect. The staff is always very engaging and fun, the food is consistent, and I think the prices are very fair. Give these guys a shot... from breakfast sandwiches to lunch food, I have never been disappointed.“
“My breakfast at Zinneken's Belgian Waffles and Café was fantastic. The ambiance was inviting, the service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. I chose the Belgian waffle with scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, and fresh, well-seasoned ingredients, which was a delightful choice. The Latte I had with my meal was a perfect match. I highly recommend trying Zinneken's Belgian Waffles and Café for a delicious and satisfying breakfast at a very affordable price.I would say the waffles was the headliner.???“
“Everything is delicious!!! Everything!!The wait staff is the best!Waiting in line is worth it!Remember one line only!! Don't even try to cut! Lol!Wheelchair accessibility: It would be very tight but doable!I'm sure they would help get it done if needed. Its just crowded and the hallway is narrow.“
“Perfect breakfast bistro in the heart of Old Wethersfield. Super friendly service with a smile, superb bagel sandwich (even the tomato was amazing in mid-winter!), and great coffee. Comfortable seating. If you are in Old Wethersfield at breakfast time, this should be a key stop for you.“
“This was my first visit to Chuck Wagon. Everyone says it's a great breakfast spot and everyone is correct. When I walked in, I immediately knew breakfast was going to be good. It has that great breakfast vibe. There are booths, tables and a counter with stools for seating. We sat ourselves at a table and were immediately greeted, given menus and asked if we wanted a coffee or something else to drink. The waitresses are all "seniors" and fit the breakfast waitress stereotype to the T. The tables and coffee cups have local advertising on them. So great. The breakfast menu is extensive, with eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, breakfast sandwiches and combination plates. There's something for everyone. I am celiac. The waitress understood immediately and offered GF bread or toast. I had a Reuben omelet with the GF toast and a side of bacon. The GF toast is toasted in the same toaster as the regular bread but that doesn't affect me so I had the toast. It came buttered and the little jelly packets are on each table. It was GREAT. The bacon was crisp and thick. Very good. The omelette was large and well stocked with corned beef, cheese, sauerkraut and dressing. Excellent. My daughter had French toast with strawberries. The French toast was thick and well cooked. The strawberries were previously frozen but still very good. She also had a breakfast sandwich which was cooked perfectly and delicious as well. She also got a chocolate milk which was very chocolatey and large! The waitress came by multiple times to refill my coffee which is one of my checkpoints for a good breakfast spot. My coffee should always be full and hot during breakfast, and it was! If you're in Ellington , you need to check out the Chuck Wagon. It's a winner.“
“Stopped in after work at 5AM and Jesus Christ am I glad I did I love how it’s in original form cash only flavorful food. What I admire most about this place were the mixed match coffee cups ?? ABSOLUTELY LOVED THAT when you come get the corn beef hash with over easy TRUST ME!!!!!“
“Tried them today for first time. Waitress was super friendly. The salted caramel flavored coffee was good. Their home fries are outstanding. I ordered a steak & cheese omelette with no peppers. It came out with peppers but they remade it quickly and gave me more home fries. The whole experience was good. Would definitely go back.“
