“South of town locale on South main Street (state route 25), the main north/south route through the Botsford section of town, this is on the Monroe side of Newtown. Gets busy on weekends and sometimes you may have to wait awhile for your fries. The food is good the fries are great.“
“We have eaten here weekly for 2 years already and love this place! The owner is always there and makes delicious sandwiches for me and my kids. I normally do not eat at any of the subway restaurants, but this one is special. This is a very clean and pleasant place. It was a breath of fresh air to see the customer service from the manager training, one of his employees to another employee bridging the gap and providing great customer service. I go there knowing with certainty, what I'm going to get will taste as it always does.That is important to me. I go that route to my Drs at least twice a month, and that is a staple for me for lunch. “Very nice pitas, reminds pitas in Israel:))Although I would improve customer service, the lady that prepares the pitas is not paying attention to the customer at all. The whole point of shawarma or falafel in pita is to ask the customer what he wants, and she just puts whatever she knows without letting you to add any changes.I would come back again and I strongly recommend to try it“
“As not to bring down the overall rating of the place I am leaving 4 stars, but lately our orders have been sub par. We go to pick up and we are missing drinks or chips.The past few times our sandwiches have been extremely messy and not completely cut. Sometimes ingredients are left on or forgotten. We will continue to support but we have had too many instances where things have just been wrong not to write about.“
“This is my local subway of over two decades. They used to be in a different building, but upgraded when this new complex was built. What hasn't changed is the consistently excellent food. This is hands down the best subway I've been to, the food is extremely fresh and the staff are friendly.“
“The food is great!! This is where i go if I'm looking for a good burger and chocolate milkshake. They even have straws designed for milkshakes something many others don't think don't have. “My son and I visited for the first time and had a basic Italian regular Mike's way. I thought it was delicious but not knowing how much oil and vinegar they put on it my son felt his sandwich was too wet otherwise he did like it. Hopefully, next time we can ask to go lite on the sauce.“

“I say yes and no to recommendations. I recommend only the burgers. Don't order the chicken sandwich. Today we tried chicken sandwiches. Big disappointment. Menu picture looked great. Nice chunk of chicken on a fluffy roll. What we got resembled a chicken cracker on a smashed roll with a smear of mayonnaise and 3 slivers of pickle. I've been there 3 times now and the staff messed up orders all three times. Not just mine, but other customers as well. Although the will do their best to rectify the mistakes.“

“Never thought I would write a 4 star review about food I found in a 7-11 but this place is doing quite a few things very right. First, and perhaps most importantly when buying lunch in a place like this: it was clean. Second, the gentleman who helped me (Carl) obviously took pride in his work. He prepared my food carefully, wrapped it carefully, gave me a good recommendation on which item to choose. He was wearing gloves and a hairnet and was generally very well put together and kind. As a business owner myself I know it it hard to find people like that. Third, the food was delicious. Having tried every taco in town I think these would beat almost all of them. Fresh made tortillas and authentic ingredients that are hard to find in Connecticut. Finally, 2 big tacos for $7? Nice. This place will do well and I will definitely be back.“
