“This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I visited Twelve Percent several times before and my experience was consistently high all the times. This is a contract brewery, so in fact it serves beers from multiple smaller brewers.

The brewery occupies a big separate building. It has a huge indoor space with no separation and a patio. There are multiple seating options inside the building including couches. No food is served, but the food trucks are usually onsite. They also have many different events in the brewery including rare ones like Homebrewer competition. The space might become a little crowded in the evening and you might encounter a limited seating.

The beers in this brewery are simply amazing. Everything I tried during my visits was exceptional. Plus I love Imperial stouts and not many breweries bother to brew them, but you can always find them here. It's hard to recommend anything specific as it is safe to just grab anything, but I particularly enjoyed Neil's French Toast Donut Stout (Imperial Stout) from Front Porch due to its rich and complex taste of a coffee donut. Beer flights are not served, but you can order a short pour of 6oz to try more beers.

I do recommend this place to anyone who loves good beer.”

It seems that we have found new catering for our family functions, and I can't thank you enough. It saved me much needed time and things were simply delicious. Dealing with Jan was super easy via email and phone with no problems. Extremely accommodating. All in all, one of the best caterings I've ever had to deal with. I would recommend them highly.”

“As a Caribbean food lover, island Cho went above expectations! Perfect dinner date for me and hubby to lift our spirits. The owners came over and had a conversation with us, which made me feel valued as a customer. Jerk chicken was very flavorful. We ordered the wings and steamed fish! No words come to mind but flavor! The fusion of trini and Jamaican culture was amazing! Definitely recommend! And the Mac and cheese was banging!”

“Love love love this place. I have spent so many hours hanging out here. In the morning it’s so fun to come sit on the couch and read a book — the coffee is delicious! And the coffee menu is really cool and fun. Any latte here is a win. And Hanna is the most incredible and friendliest barista!! It’s also a really fun vibe in the afternoon to come for a beer and hangs. They have vegetarian options for food usually and a great food truck outside. I am all about aesthetic and this place crosses all the t’s and dots all the i’s. My new go-to spot!!”

“I ordered the 6 oz filet with the lobster tail. I think the tail was pretty good as I'm not a big seafood fan. However the filet was perfect. Very tender, cooked exactly how I requested and it nearly melted in my mouth.

Parking: There is plenty of parking spots but they fill up fast”

“Updating review to let you know being under staff is still a problem. People are leaving as I write this review. 10 people just left. We're being ignored and there are only 2 waiters so I can't blame them. You need to pay better or something. Poor waiters are running around like crazy.

Food is great. Always seems short staffed and servers are doing multiple jobs which delays even bringing you the check when you need to leave.”

The veggies that came with it were reminiscent of the frozen mix my mother used, and the dull part of the meal. My Server was attentive and on top of everything.”

“It's a been a few years since I last visited, but I still think about this place from time to time. Whenever I'd visit my friend in New Haven, we'd always come here to feast on tacos and other offerings like tortas. The tacos are great value: $8 for 4 tacos for most of the selections. Best of all, they have my favorite variety of taco: tacos de lengua. Granted that the tacos de lengua come at a bit of a premium compared to the other varieties, but I'm more than willing to pay the extra $2. The taco fillings were generous and the chips + pico de gallo + salsa verde that came with each order was fresh. I wish they also gave radishes with the taco orders, but that's a minor thing. Next time I'm in New Haven, I'd be sure to come back here to have those tacos again.”

“I will never get Chinese food anywhere else! My family and I have tried every Chinese food place around North Haven. Most of them, the food is soggy, cold when we get it, not cooked right, etc. Until we found this place. It’s tucked away behind BAR pizza and we never even knew it was there! Our order everytime is chicken and broccoli spicy, general tso’s chicken not spicy, and crab rangoons. everytime the food is fresh and flavorful, everyone there is so nice and the place is beyond clean. I recommend to everyone!”

“It’s bright and so clean and there are white linen tablecloths. Food was steaming hot when brought to our table and delicious too. Not expensive and everyone was pleasant. Other diners looked very happy too! This is our new “go to” restaurant. They serve those delicious warm garlic knots and homemade bread and olives before meals. We had chicken contadina, and linguine with bolognese sauce.

Parking: We did see spaces marked for disabled.”

“We were a large party of 8 with no reservation for my son's birthday. We didn't have to wait for a table so that was amazing. The bar was backed up, so we got our salad before our drinks even though our drink orders were placed before our dinner orders. My mom and I both got the garganzola steak Alfredo dish. We were so looking forward to it, but it was over cooked so we were bummed. We didn't even take the left overs because they were too over cooked to reheat. We celebrated my son's 4th birthday, he said it was the best birthday ever 😆 so he loved his meal and the tablet at dinner.”

“First I want to apologize In my several years of writing Google reviews I never skipped photos of the food but the food here was so amazingly good I just ate four servings of orange chicken! When I finally stopped I realized I ate everything before I took any pictures! Lol. I'm born and raised in Chicago and ate some of the most authentic and tasty Chinese food outside of China in our designated "China town" I have been up until now bitterly disappointed in all the Chinese restaurants in the entire state of Connecticut. The broccoli was tender and crisp and deliciously fresh. The orange chicken had REAL pieces of orange peel. Oh so slightly spicy but I don't eat anything spicy so most people would not have any issues with the spice level. It was simply PERFECT. The Crab Rangoon was the best I ever had and I have eaten in China town of both Chicago and San Francisco! This is the Only place I would even consider eating Chinese food in the entire state of Connecticut. I feed 3 hungry adults for $45 including tax and have some leftovers in the fridge for tomorrow.”
