“I went based on a suggestion from a friend and purchased the classic burger, burgerway sides and a chocolate mousse cupcake. The burger was juicy and perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed the Tenders and Mozzarella sticks. I was pleasantly surprised by the Mac and cheese bites. And the chocolate mousse cupcake was just the cherry on top. Best way to finish off my meal. I can't wait to go back to try something else on the menu.“
“My wife and I had the opportunity for a late lunch today. This was our second trip to the this location. We went back because ALL the employees are extremely professional and there to provide the optimal experience. While we were dining several people came up to us asking if we needed a refill or if there was something else they could do to make our visit the best that it could be. There were a group of people at a larger table and i could see some badges. Chic-fil-a badges. I assumed on of them was the franchises owner and I was able to figure out who he was. This man as he was walking up to the counter and he asked how we were doing. He cared. He listened. It was TODD the owner. We had a great conversation and made us feel welcome. We complemented him on his location. I let him know the fresh waffle fries are what got my attention. Todd, congrats for what you have and what you are doing for your company. “Usually, I get the crispy chicken nugget meal. I have tried the chicken sandwich, and both are a hit. Line is somewhat a wait, but it is always worth it. Also, I love my cookie and cream milkshake. ? Lemonade is usually good, my first go-to with the meal. I'm just happy to have a location in CT. “The food is good and this last stop at this location was the norm for the other Five Guys that I've been too. My issues are common, very high prices, uninterested and inattentive staff. For the price the least they should do is treat you as a person and a little more enthusiasm wouldn't hurt.“
“On these hot days- ice cream is amazing. Dairy Queen offers an assortment of different kinds of ice cream. I had an oreo/ bownie Blizzard & loved it. My husband likes the cherry dilly bars. I was shocked @ how cheap an entire box of dilly bars was. Another favorite is vanilla on cone w/ rainbow sprinkles. Friday nights in North Branford they have classic carnight @ Dairy Queen. “Been living in town for a while and have driven by multiple times, but never in. I was in the mood to try a blizzard, so I went in. First, the location is somewhat tough to see as it is in the corner of a small shopping center. Location is also blocked by a large tree so you can easily drive by. Also bad signage. Second, seating outside exists but nothing inside. I will say the interior is small and somewhat dated. The menu is mainly blizzards and smoothies, but no food like other locations. Blizzard was very good so worth the stop in. I wish it was in better location as it would be busier. I will be back in future.“
“What a great spot! Perfect location, super easy parking, right in the heart of Broadway! The food was delicious! My husband and I each had a make your own bowl which was so good! We both had the saffron basmati and steak and veggies, Tzatziki sauce, and delicious fig vinaigrette. My kids had burgers and fries and everything was perfect. Very clean, staff was super helpful with recommendations. The kids also loved the chocolate milkshakes and I loved the Hibiscus Lemonade. Definitely worth the trip!“

“I was in the area and wanted a bean burrito (the usual), but the Taco Bell I usually go to was in the opposite direction from where I had to go next, so I figured I was out of luck. All of the sudden, as I'm approaching the entrance to get on I-95, when I came across this fairly new Taco Bell.I was able to ger in and out very quickly, which I like.Katie was at the drive thru and did just great at paying attention to what I wanted. She seemed nice.The burrito was spot on. It was one of the best I've gotten at any Taco Bell ever (and I have had hundreds of burritos from various Taco Bells all over Connecticut & beyond). The dough was warm and fresh. The fillings were in proper ratio and certainly not overloaded onions of sauce. Somebody aced Burritos 101 with flying colors!The only thing that seemed odd to me was while trying to pay with the exact amount ($2.12), I couldn't find a penny. So, I ended up paying with (two bucks and) a quarter and was owed thirteen cents. For some reason, I was asked if I would be wanting my change. If they wanted the penny from me, I certainly wanted the 13 pennies from them. Anyway, not a big deal, but it did throw me off a bit. It felt awkward and confusing...Overall, I am happy I stopped here and will come here again in the future.“
“It depends on who the attendees are, some are too mindful of how much stuff they must add on your bread. Instead of following orders for a better service, but the ones who do, make a better taste of food. I'm rating based on the great attendees, who have made wonderful meals every time I've been there. The drinks are self serve, unlike other places where it is poured out for you. Clean sitting areas, and bathrooms are not smelly.“

“I've never felt pulled to leave a review for a McDonald's, other than maybe some bad locations, but this one is honestly a stand-out. My husband and I live here and occasionally go here as our cheat day. I have to say, every single time we're pleasantly surprised that this location is better than any we've ever been to. Food is always hot and fresh (I mean relatively speaking, obviously we're still talking about McDonald's) but it's just always good. Service is very friendly and I'd even say professional. There's one employee who's always a standout; for lack of a name he's a young white gentlemen in his 20s (slight country accent?) and just seems to love his job, always has a great attitude. He deserves a raise, he always adds a positive vibe. Also, Hamden is known for its homeless population and the other day we witnessed an employee offering an elderly gentlemen a cup of water on a hot day. The Play Place hasn't been open here for a while, but there's currently construction going on with it so we're hoping soon. Overall, it's just the best McDonald's we've ever been to and thought it deserves some recognition.“
“I was a manager at McDonalds many years ago, so I tend to be more critical when I visit. I travel all over the eastern side of the country and have been in hundreds of McDonald"s. They have ranged from adequate to severely lacking, never very good. But this McDonal's is the exception. Food is always hot, fresh, juicy, and delicious, regardless of time of day. Best McDonald's food I have had in many, many years. I know how difficult that is to accomplish, the owner of this McDonald's should be commended.“

“I had a great experience at this location, unlike the awful experience I had at the subway downtown recently. Every employee and the owner himself are consistently cleaning. You can eat off the floor here. All the food is well kept and always fresh as had been on my last three visits there. When I was joking and telling my story of another visit at another location, I said, “you would think that a food business would at least keep things clean in customer view…nobody could see what happens behind the counter or in the freezer, haha”. At this point both the owner and another woman there immediately invited to escort me go in the back, the storage area, even the freezer to take a look!!! I was amazed. I didn’t have to at that point!!“
“I do not care for subway very much but this review is of their new ROTISSERIE CHICKEN. It is much much better than any other protein they have to offer on the menu. It stays must even when you have the sub toasted and is not bland at all. My suggestion is not to load your sub with a condiment (i.e. mayo or chipolte) as the rotisserie will stand out rather well.“
