“This is a gem of a spot in Seymour!! Their food is top notch excellent and they have utterly delicious vegan options! Prices are incredibly reasonable and the portions are just right. My partner said it’s the best breakfast burrito he’s ever had in Ct. I got a vegan soyrizo sandwich and was also blown away. Can’t WAIT to go back and try more of their dishes - everything that came out of the kitchen looked bangin! The owners are friendly and outgoing. I’d just be aware the space is quite small so seating is limited - more of an issue if you’re wanting to bring a group on a weekend.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian but more importantly VEGAN options.“

“Easily accessible and in walking distance of the New Haven green. Got brussels sprouts and a large pizza. The brussels sprouts were cut and fried in a unique way I had never seen before but it was quite delicious. The pizza was also quite good although a little too much garlic for my tastes (and i love garlic)“
“Literally just left after having the best lunch! My fiancé and I are new to CT and we’ve been desperately trying to find a cool spot with great food. We got the miso and lime mussels and poutine with our beers and it was SO GOOD! Simple but delicious. The portions were huge. The service was great and the beer was even better! The drink menu is very good as well.The place is expensive, though. 12$ for a salad is a bit high. 6$ for a drink. “Dive Bar is “my favorite place”, top of the list,cream of the crop. I’m a frequent regular and have shared my love for the Dive Bar with my close friends and family with “check in” pots and pictures since it’s inception twelve years ago. Chris and his Staff are top notch, so friendly and welcoming they make you feel right at home immediately. You can always catch a good ballgame or interact with Bar Bingo and enjoy some great music from talented musicians from time to time. If you know, you know ! If not? What are you waiting for? Comfortable interior in black and white, plenty of seating.Had an excellent Cheeseburger, 8oz perfectly seared handmade patty on Brioche Roll dripping with melted cheese. Well-built and tasty. Fries were as good as the burger. Can't get a better one in Stratford till Riley's opens. They're on the same level. Can't wait to try rest of menu.Lunch is $20, appetizer or side, main dish and a drink. Pretty good deal. Ample convenient parking.“

There was a bit of road noise and no view of the water but the music was nice and there is a choice between high top, regular and stools all outside.The staff was nice and attentive to the table. There was a bit of a mishap with my meal but they did the best they could to make it right. I only with they told me before my meal came out.I loved the salmon meal! The salmon was tender and juicy and the cream sauce with the veggie combo was the perfect pairing. I only with I got the rice that was listed. I did get to try the onion rings in place of the rice and they were so thick and nicely breaded. They were the best and biggest onion rings I have ever had!The New England clam chowder was more of a Manhattan style with its red sauce base but it was unique with good flavor.The portions except for the cheese pizza were large. The fish sandwich and the fish plate both had about the same large quantity of fish.The menu was large and had lots of options. It was a bit different than what was posted online but it looked like there were some nightly specials. I did really want to try the tacos. All in all, I would go back again just for the onion rings and salmon.Kid-friendliness: Not the most kid friendly menu but the brick oven pizza and onion rings made them very happy.“

“I’ve been somewhat of a regular here and I absolutely love it. The menu has a ton of great options - I personally recommend the Philly Eggrolls and the Cajun Chicken Alfredo. Always a ton of great stuff on tap but their cocktails are definitely worth checking out as well. And the service has always been excellent - special shout out to Michelle, behind the bar! It’s also a great spot for some bar trivia so grab some friends and test your wit!“
