“I first discovered baker/owner Lolly's cakes in North Salem at The Market at Union Hall and fell in love!! Her chocolate-on-chocolate cake and vanilla buttercream cake are my weekly indulgences... I crave them and get so excited to go there for a cappuccino and a cake. I shared them with my fam and they're all obsessed now, too. Her carrot cake is also the best carrot cake I've had, but I'm such a chocolate fiend, and those two chocolate cakes are the best chocolate cakes I've had. Now we have our go to birthday/holiday cakes. Thank you, Lolly! 5 stars!!!!“

“Been searching for a while for a true classic Italian deli, and this is it. Massive fully stacked sangwiches on real Italian bread, friendly staff, right up my alley. Also their Spicy Vodka Cutlet with the mozzarella sticks is awesome!! Their Italian combo is awesome as well, thw quality of the meats is very high, am able to taste every single meat and toping in the sandwich. Which usually at other delis it would all kinda mix together, or one thing would be over powering.“
“We came for the restaurant week special and sampled the trifecta for breakfast (coffee + breakfast sandwich + croissant + chocolate croissant). Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Didn't previously know about Ross' Bread, but will now be a regular customer - their table in the back had a very comfortable bench and I can definitely see myself camping out here in the morning with my laptop. Their English muffin is unreal, the croissants were buttery and flakey, and the blueberry muffin was the cherry on top. The woman behind the counter was so sweet and patient. The manager even took my 2 year old behind the counter and gave him a little extra treat!“

“First time getting a cake from Varano Bakery being new to the Bethel area and super impressed!!! We spoke with Theresa about our options for my sons birthday cake, she was extremely helpful via email and then in person when ordering. We gave a photo of what we wanted for our dinosaur theme cake for a 2nd bday party and it was executed perfectly. I was thrilled how great it came out! The cake was white cake, cannoli filling with chocolate buttercream. Everyone was very impressed with the cake appearance but also raved about the cake taste once served. We definitely found our new spot for cakes!! All around 10/10. The gentleman that helped package up our cake at pick up was extremely thoughtful in helping make the ride home with the cake as easy as possible to keep it safe during travels. And the young boy behind the counter helped carry it out to my car. Very thoughtful and the extra customer service is something that will bring us back to support this business .“
