“Scoops Ice Cream Shop in Wilton is a delightful haven for sweet seekers and ice cream aficionados alike. The enchanting charm of this little shop is only surpassed by the delectable variety of flavors it offers. A standout favorite among the myriad of options is their Mud Ice Cream - a sublime concoction that combines the rich, velvety textures of cream and chocolate with the robustness of coffee and the delightful crunch of cookies. Each spoonful is a melodic symphony of flavors that dances gracefully on the palate, offering a harmonious blend of sweetness, bitterness, and crunchiness. The friendly and welcoming staff adds an extra scoop of joy to every visit, ensuring that every patron leaves with a smile as sweet as the treats they serve. Whether you’re an ice cream enthusiast or simply looking for a delightful escape, Scoops Ice Cream Shop in Wilton is undoubtedly worth the visit.“
“"I discovered this shop while I was on my way dropping off my dog from a grooming appointment a few stores down. I decided to stop by and have breakfast while waiting for my dog to be ready. The food was freshly made and tasted good, especially the coffee which was their brand. I have been going to this shop every time my dog has a grooming appointment."“
“We had a great experience! Our sandwiches were delicious; smoked turkey & brie, chicken cesar wrap and a ranch chicken panini. Staff is friendly and very attentive. We will be back to try the breakfast sandwiches which looked delicious.“
“Editing: I was hangry.. the service really is top notch and they know they can do better (especially when it’s the tail end of a busy Sunday brunch — owner gave me my donut on the house bc they ran out of avocado for their incredibly good “Wilton” breakfast sand. Similarly, when the online order prev weekend didn’t print and I was hanging around for an extra bit gave me the coffee I wanted to purchase on the house as well). They’re a great small business that manages to stay crowded despite heavy competition. Everyone deserves some grace, especially when they’re swamped w/hungry families on a Sunday lol.I’m leaving my original review below..they do seem to have a problem with their online ordering options (any app related orders don’t print thru to kitchen for ex. So they’ll hustle and get your sandies made but defeats point of ordering ahead).“Decent food but the ordering ahead doesn’t work. Placing the order there doesn’t work. They’re busy so things seem to get misplaced..often”“
“Everything was perfect! Pastries, sandwiches, coffee, quiche, everything was perfectly made with high quality ingredients. Also, who would have thought that a bakery could make such a good roast beef sandwich? Danishes also highly recommended.“
“We love rebel daughter cookies! Came in today and bought an adorable sweatshirt and almost every flavor cookie!!! We loved all of them so far our favorite is the s’mores! Will be back for more!! 25⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Everything Stacy bakes is AMAZING!! Just tried the chocolate babka… to die for!! Beat part is Stacy and her daughter… so sweet, friendly, passionate. LOVE this wonderful little gem in Ridgefield. It’s tucked away behind the Gulf Station on Danbury Rd, but totally worth a stop!“
“Amazing bread and wonderful people! We have enjoyed getting bread from 123Dough since they opened. The bread is beyond fresh with a crusty outside and soft, chewy inside. Everyone I've met working there has been friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend 123Dough!“
“best cupcakes i’ve ever had! the red velvet is my favorite and my go-to! i love how everything is gluten free and they are very understanding with any allergies! The best place for sweets and no matter the distance I will always come here! The place itself is always clean and the staff is very friendly! this place is amazing and i guarantee you that you won’t regret trying their treats!“
“Obsessed with this place. Everything is sourdough and delicious. The chocolate chip cookie is my favorite cookie I've ever eaten. The bread, bagels, pastries, pizza, and sandwiches are all top notch. Will never stop coming/recommending!“
“Believe it or Nothing Bundt Cakes have been on my radar for sometime. I created an account and joined their club even though I have not had the opportunity to try them. I am unsure where I first learned about them but something intrigued me enough to become a "member" and that is saying something. Lol.Back in June I was in Stamford for an event at another local eatery and just happened to be a 5 minute drive away from this location. Even though I had yet to experience these sweet delights my travel companion was a notable fan. With the store closing in 10 minutes, we dashed up the rode and made it within a few minutes of the lights going off. To our surprise we were pleasantly greeted with a smile from Meredith. Her customer service was superb and much appreciated as we were notably cutting it close. The store is bright and whimsical with different selections suitable for all occasions even the more often then not "just because" occasion. There was selection of candles named after iconic locations, of course New York City caught my eye. However, the price said this was not a "just because" occasion for a candle. Lol.I was unsure what to try and Meredith was so sweet with my indecisive decision making. I decided to go with one of my "go to" flavors of Red Velvet. Additionally I also decided to try the White Chocolate Raspberry. Both great choices that I tried within the next day or two. However, on the drive home my friend allowed me to sample her Limited Edition Key Lime flavor available for the summer. The bundtlets were all ultra moist. The Key Lime and Red velvet cake were both topped with creamy cream cheese icing. The two I purchased traveled well and were still moist and delectable a few days later.Definitely worth trying if in the area, just try to be mindful of the store hours so you are not trying to do the mad dash like we did.Thank you Meredith for your wonderful customer service.Just A Note:If you purchase a few flavors to try at a later time. Remove them from the refrigerator, and let them come to room temperate for the optimal taste experience.“
“I recently signed up for Pierluigis Sourdough Bread making class at the Fatto an Mano Bakery in Westport, CT and it was a 5 star experience all the way. I felt it was taught in an organized way so that home bakers could feel educated and empowered to make beautiful artisanal bread at home. We learned all the different stages of making sourdough and we were able to get our hands on some dough and learn the techniques from the master himself. He is a gentleman!! 10/10 highly recommend!!!“
“The location of this place is a bit weird and sketch. It's on a dead end with many people just hanging out on the streets in front of the stores around this place. The inside of this place is small, has groceries, and about 4 tables . I went during a lunch rush and there was a line that moved pretty fast. It was loud inside, but the place was calm, I ate in peace. I tried the oxtail and jerk chicken- both were delicious - though I didn't enjoy the slight sweetness of the dishes. I would def go back again but never alone and only during the day. I was catcalled, asked for money, and was stopped multiple times during my one visit. That's the only downside to the location of this place.“
“I stopped by Forever Sweet Bakery to order a cake for my daughters 1st birthday and the staff was very nice and accommodating. I spoke with Sky, who took some some details and told me to expect a call later that day to go over details and pricing more in depth. Since I had actually never had anything from the bakery before and was placing an order based on reviews, Sky gave me two complimentary cupcakes to try them out. I chose red velvet and carrot cake and both were delicious. My daughter's cake (theme "Wild One") turned out exactly as I had envisioned and all the adult guests kept asking where the cake was from and complimenting the design. The top tier was red velvet and the bottom layer was vanilla with buttercream and it looked just like the inspiration photo I provided via email. I wouldn't hesitate to order from here again for all special occasions in the future.“
“Hands down the BEST vegan and GF cakes anywhere in the area. It’s no easy task getting this right and wow, just wow. The specialty birthday cake was out of this world and the cupcakes were phenomenal. This is our new go-to.Vegan GF sandwiches are outstanding, staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and we always walk away with a gift for someone from their little shop. This is a real gem! My only criticism is that the shop is a little tucked away so not enough people know where to find it.“
“Boutique empanada shop, nicely decorated in a small, cafeteria-type setting. Very good empanadas including two outstanding sauces. Coffee is excellent and service is fast, with a smile. The empanada was tasty but light on the filling. Elephant ear pastry was fresh baked and as good as I've had. There are about six tables to dine in, or take out.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, mainly empanadas and pastries.Parking: Free street parking right outside, can be a bit more difficult during busy times of the day/week.“
“’ve been going to Liz Sue II bagels for years- it’s been my go-to for bagels. I’m not exactly sure what happened though, but the taste has changed, for the worse. I don’t think I’m the only one experiencing this. Other reviews here have noted a “fishy” or “metallic” taste, but for me and my family, we’ve felt the bagels have a strange “dishwater” type after-taste which is obviously not very appealing. It’s been like this for multiple visits over a few months and it’s the same at both Stamford and Norwalk locations. Because of the bad taste, we have stopped coming here for bagels. What’s causing this?? Please go back to the original bagels so we can come back!“
“BEST AWARD WINNING PIES! 10☆sNo where and i mean NO WHERE will you find a pie that will be better than this. As in "OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD!" Doesnt matter what choice you make. They are seasonal tho, which means only fresh ingredients. You cant get a peach pie here in December! No prob tho! Your jaw will drop when u just LOOK at the Apple Crumb Pie!“
“We got a bread with cream cheese .. ahhh it was amazing . The bakery looks super clean, and organize, le lady who took care of me was very pleasant.. I loved it.. they have a lot of desert, looking all delicious. I would recommend this place.. one of the doctor I work with recommended to me and Im glad I pass by.“
“Got the sausage egg and cheese on the milk bun and it was exactly what I needed; with a runny yolk and a perfect hash brown. Purchased many of the baked goods to taste at home and all have been amazing (coffee cake, mini babka, baguette...) !! The service was stellar and i can't wait to go back and bring friends.“
“Cannot say enough good things about our experience at The Porch at Christie's. The space is beautiful and inviting, with plenty of space to sit and enjoy their endless supply of delicious baked goods, sandwiches, coffee, etc.. After ordering our food we started chatting with Andrea, the owner, who was at a nearby counter prepping cookies and she could not have been kinder!! Such a great experience and we cannot wait to go back!“
“Great little place situated in the "town center" of Wilton/Redding area. Staff is very friendly and the food is very good too! I got a dozen donuts, a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, and a coffee. It was all very yummy and the donuts were definitely a big step up from donut chain places.Parking: It is somewhere between street parking and parking directly in front of the store. Both are available.“
“Place was nice and clean. Jimmy and Malachi were super helpful even with us coming 5 min before closing they were of the utmost help figuring out what cookie to get. We ended up getting the chocolate chip and the one that looks like a sugar cookie. Soo good. Definitely stopping by again!!“
“Fantastic sourdough and pastries (especially the croissants)Things are pricey but worth it. Quality is top notch. They focus on small details like using homemade preserves and nicely toasted almonds. The flaky pastries here rival France . Sourdough flavors alternate which make sono bakery a fun place to try new sourdough concepts. Some breads are better than others but all are good quality. Highly recommend the almond croissants“
“Great little coffee shop with great charm nestled in right next to a post office. I love visiting new places while working and this place is a must stop if your pasing through and looking to refill.Dietary restrictions: They have vegan muffins called morning glories, and they were frosted carrot cake mini muffins, and they were very delicious.“
“I’ve been trying to find an allergy friendly bakery that actually takes cross contamination precautions seriously and the cake box exceeded my expectations. I have a family member that has a wheat egg and peanut allergy. He can eat the vegan cake here no problem. And the cake is delicious!! Thank you so much for being awesome!“
“Wave Hill Bread emerges as a gem for those in pursuit of artisanal breads and pastries, channeling the essence of a quaint European bakery into every loaf and scone. The bakery shines particularly bright with its pumpernickel baguette and blueberry scone. The pumpernickel baguette, a true artisan's creation, boasts a dark, slightly crisp crust that beautifully complements its soft, flavor-rich interior. Made with rye flour, its depth of flavor turns each bite into a delightful experience, whether savored alone, as part of a sandwich, or alongside cheese. The blueberry scone is a marvel of moist, fluffy pastry, bursting with the sweetness of blueberries in every tender bite, setting a high standard for what a scone should be.Beyond these standout offerings, Wave Hill Bread distinguishes itself with a dedication to quality and craftsmanship evident in every product. Coupled with a warm atmosphere and welcoming staff, a visit to Wave Hill Bread promises not only a treat for the taste buds but a memorable journey into the heart of artisan baking.“
“I was sitting in Parkway Diner looking across the street and COBS caught my eye. I thought they were named after Cos Cob but apparently they are a chain. An international chain with only one US location, right here in Stamford. Okay, then, COBS we go! I had my eye on a bread loaf for some carbs. But I wasn't sure if I wanted their Cape Seed bread. 9 types of seeds but not clear if you get the nice big seeds throughout the dough that I like. I asked about it and they simply took an entire loaf and sliced it, then handed out samples to my entire group. And then just packaged the bread and handed it over and said "this is on us". Yes, it's later in the day. Maybe you could tell I wasn't really sold on the bread. But my. goodness. how friendly and helpful and customer-oriented these people are! Oh, and they donate unbought food at the end of the day to a local food pantry. With all this, I decided to buy a couple of scones and leave an extra-generous tip for the bread. Let me tell you, the triple chocolate scone is tasty, unexpected icing and unique flavor throughout, but the lemon blueberry? Oh. My. Gosh. Divine. SOOOOO much blueberry flavour (since they're international and giving out scones, I will spell it their way) in every bite. So glad I brought these scones home and now I'm looking at the bag as I type this, preparing to lick the blueberry remnants from the wrapper. Sounds like 5 stars to me.“
“It was a Monday like a Sunday since it was a holiday. Quiet. I pass it every morning but never see a spot. Today easy peasy -there was no one on the road at 8:30 am. So I went in and did two things I would not ordinarily do. Ordered a delicious latte and a pastry!! The guy who took my order was sweet and had perfect recommendations. I wanted to sit inside but I didn’t want to be alone. I sat in my car and held the cup in my hands and inhaled the aroma while I thought to myself. Next time I’ll come with a friend. Next time I’ll let the Lorca feeling last a little longer. Next time.“
“Come get some food!!!!! My coworkers and I are here regularly! Flavorful food, even when the line is long, it goes quick. I love the little fried pork bits with some lime... OMG the bomb!! And we get the tres leches cake literally every Friday without fail.“
“Our wedding venue uses DiMare Pastry Shop to provide the wedding cake on the day off. The tasting process was seamless and communication was terrific. We went with the Biscoff flavor and guests are still raving about it over 6 months later. I never knew people paid so much attention to the wedding cake! Could not have been happier with the cake and service.“
“I’ve been coming to this place for the past couple months. I absolutely love the variety of cookies that she has. Every time I am around the area I go there and I get my wife a cookie Needless to say these cookies are phenomenal. Especially the chocolate chip cookie. I consider this place a little hidden gem in Wilton. The owner is absolutely amazing and is always very friendly. I highly recommend this place.“
