My search ended when I found Matto’s Wine bar in Shelton. My waitress immediately tended to our every need. Her name was Chelsea and she took the time to explain to us how the items we were interested in were prepared. She gave us great recommendations and never rushed us to order. Great food, it's fresh; It has flavour. Normal size portions where the quality matters. We are regulars at this place; always with excellent service, specially by Sam (Lucia) the bartender, always smiling always attentive.
Had a delicious birthday meal at Matto's this evening. Usually hesitant to order Italian food, but heard it was good so gave it a try. The meatballs and sauce wasoutstanding. Everyone was very pleased with their dinner. Definitely the real deal and the service and ambiance was very good, too! Can't wait to return.
