It was my first visit here with family and we all wanted to spend the evening with Tandoor specials, we ordered grilled fish, tandoori chicken, Palak Paneer, Naan and Lassi.Everything we have ordered was truly best in taste and freshness. The gentleman assisting us during dining was polite and a funny guy.Good experience with them and I don't mind to recommend.“
“10/10 every UCONN student should get food from here because it’s very healthy and tastes ACTUALLY GOOD compared to all the other places around here. ITS INDIAN FOOD AND IT’S AMAZING (I will defend this place at all costs bc I’ve never had food this good, I think about it when I go home from UConn)This place is amazing and always has been. Don’t listen to the people saying the food has changed to be bland or watery - I’ve been ordering from here for a very long time and I can say with confidence that this place produces the best Indian food in all CT - I’ve been looking for good Indian places close to my home in western CT but nothing compares.I highly recommend everything on their menu - my go-to is the goat curry and chicken curry ~ I love their vegetarian dishes and all other chicken + goat dishes - I can’t speak for anything else - but it’s all so delicious and flavorful. Chicken and goat is always insanely tender I wish I knew how they did it.The owners (mom and pop shop) are also very nice and considerate. They always spark convo with me when I come in.“
“Me and my girlfriend have been regulars here for about 2 years now. The food is always amazing. We usually get 2 main dishes and then two side dishes and it always only takes just about 50 minutes so I’m not sure about the wait time complaints. It’s always worth the wait either way. I am very happy to have found this restaurant and I will be coming here as long as I live in CT.Vegetarian options: I always get the paneer tikka masala rather than a meat Tikka masala and it’s just so so good.Wheelchair accessibility: I am not disabled but there is a ramp leading up to the restaurant so I would assume that’s pretty accessible, also have a couple big handicap spots as well.“
“Let me start by saying we live in Coventry and Kathmandu has delivered hot delicious food to our home time and time again! This evening my wife and I decided to dine in and the experience was better than expected! We had Samosas, Thai noodles, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Tikka Masala, and Naan. The service was friendly and attentive. The owner/chef came out to our table to ask how everything was. What I told him is what I'm telling all of you. This is the best Indian food I've had to date! I have a strong culinary background and highly recommend you put this place on a short list of great food destinations! In the past we've had curry lamb, tomato soup, tom yam soup, lolipop chicken, fried rice, and aloo paratha. Make your way through the whole menu, you won't be disappointed!“
