“I’ll write about the food in a moment, but this place gets 5 stars for their staff. Management did a great job hiring and/or training their staff.We were driving from New York to Massachusetts. We had ordered take out, but it was cold outside and they graciously sat us and nicely plated our food without a second thought. As soon as we sat at our table my son vomited. They were incredibly helpful and patient in cleaning up and continued to be upbeat and kind to my family.The pizza was very good, charred a bit more than my preference, but that’s a personal preference. The salad was superb and I loved the unique polenta croutons.We tipped generously, but wanted to thank the staff for their kindness, again!“

The food is hearty, the staff is nice and attentive without being annoying. The owner is a gentleman and the live entertainment is excellent. There's a very cool covered outdoor area that EXCELLENT for a party vibe corporate or private. We make it a point to visit approximately once a month or two. “We were married at Georgina’s this past month and wanted to share how incredible our experience was. We had to move our ceremony inside due to weather. 40 minutes prior, there was no rain and Harold and the team started setting up for an outside ceremony, only for it to start sprinkling 5 minutes before the guest came, pushing the ceremony inside. We had a large (and loud) bridal party with a ton of kids. Harold was able to manage all of them and get them out in order and on time. Harold went along with any idea I had and made the night as perfect as could be. We could not recommend a better venue and coordinator. After stepping in the Grand ballroom, we knew our wedding would be perfect. So glad we trusted Harold and the team. He even packed up cake for us for when we got back to the hotel.“

This evening my wife and I decided to dine in and the experience was better than expected! We had Samosas, Thai noodles, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Tikka Masala, and Naan. The service was friendly and attentive. The owner/chef came out to our table to ask how everything was. What I told him is what I'm telling all of you. This is the best Indian food I've had to date! I have a strong culinary background and highly recommend you put this place on a short list of great food destinations! In the past we've had curry lamb, tomato soup, tom yam soup, lolipop chicken, fried rice, and aloo paratha. Make your way through the whole menu, you won't be disappointed!“

“You have to appreciate this spot for what it is . Craig and his wife are very hospitable. The food took and appropriate amount of time to be prepared as everything my wife and I ordered was freshly prepared. We ordered fried whiting / fried chicken / collard greens / rice and beans / fried pork chop / & shrimp . Literally everything we took a bite out of taste so amazing . I wasn't sure what to consume more of lol . The different flavors combined for such an exciting meal . The red beans with rice is definitely a favorite of mine now & I would say the drive from Windsor was well worth it 10x . You won't be disappointed , give it a try .“

“Ok, so that was delicious.I saw the ad on that big ol' book of faces for a lobster roll meal priced at $17. Right on rt6 in Andover. Hey, I know that place. I must've driven by 1000 times. They've been there for decades, right? Needless to say, my interest was piqued. 17 bucks is pretty inexpensive for a ct lobster roll. So, pointed the trusty Accord east. Within minutes, i was there & within minutes after that I held in my hands a buttery, velvety rich delicious CT-Style Lobster Roll. A buttery grilled hot dog bun, topped with what looked like half a lobster; one claw, about a half-tail meat & smaller, more delicate picked buttery meats. The whole thing was doused in more clarified butter. Did I mention it was buttery?...soooo buttery. To cut the richness, the roll is accompanied by a small plastic ramekin of rather non-descript, yet perfectly adequate creamy mildly sweet/vinegary cole slaw & a small bag of Lay's original Potato chips. This is a pretty decent lunch-time meal for about the same price as.the so-called birthday meal at that large McCorporate place. The price on that was absurd & really made me Grimace. ... Not Tom's Place, though! Sat under some nice shady trees at the provided picnic tables next to a place where Rochambeau used to hang out. I enjoyed good eats at a classic roadside stand. Highly recommend.Parking: plenty of room for r/v or rig.“

“Just moved to Vernon, and this place is awesome! I learned to never judge a restaurant by its outside appearance after coming here. I’m very picky when it comes to sushi and was amazed by how good it was. For my vegetarians, the peanut avocado roll is a must! The crab rangoons were also great. Highly recommend the Vernon Roll, the Sushi Sandwich, and the Fancy Shrimp Tempura. Will definitely be coming back!!!!“

“Our recent school staff's Christmas celebration was an amazing success due to the wonderful amenities provided by this establishment. Their service staff were so attentive to everybody's needs and their courteous service made me feel right at home. Let's not forget the delicious food served in their buffet line! The buffalo wings, drumsticks, and pulled pork were so delicious, it was impossible to resist countless returns to the buffet line. The space that my school was allowed to use was adequately spacious and comfortable for the group size of over 40 in attendance. There was even space available for a small musical ensemble to perform and dance floor to jam to the music. Restroom facilities were kept in utmost state of cleanliness! Hops44 is certainly a place to go to with family or for special celebrations. I'm grateful for the positive experience your staff was able to provide and for the delicious food served at this restaurant. Keep up the awesome work You're doing!“

They do have vegetarian options. I went with my friends and the overall atmosphere was very cozy and family friendly. It was crowded on Saturday around 11 am.“

“My dad and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. We sat at the bar and got to watch a dynamic duo slam out a very crowded breakfast in a methodical like fashion. Our server was attentive and friendly. Everyone had smiles even tho the place was literally packed with a wait at the door. Noone skipped a beat. And the food was great. “Wow! I’m still in the restaurant and I had to make a review because of how floored I am. This is one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever eaten in my life. I highly recommend the shamm savera. The sauce in there and the chicken tikka masala is incredible! The service was fantastic and they even gave us extra sauce without our asking and rice pudding. Floored all the way around. Incredible. I feel cheated out of all the time I didn’t know this food existed.“

“Wonderful breakfast place. Sadly because it's a wonderful breakfast place the wait is very long. The funny thing is no matter how long your wait is, they tend to say 25 minutes. Our wait was close to 45. But as we sat there we heard that everybody's wait was going to be 25 minutes. Lol. I will say it was worth it. The menu has a lot of items to choose from. What's even nicer is it also has options for how much of that item you want. I had the French toast and normally when I order it out they always give you three to four pieces. I can never eat all that. I was able to order just two pieces and I ordered it with fresh strawberries. It was one of the best breakfast meals I've had in a long time. The French toast was perfect, the strawberries were actually fresh! And there were enough to go with each piece of French toast. I was really impressed. The coffee was good but I can't say it was plentiful. We had to ask for refills as somebody came by once during the hour we were there and then not return again until we asked. We were seated and it took another 10 minutes before somebody even came over to ask if we wanted coffee or juice. So although the food is delicious and we would definitely return again. We are at least knowledgeable now that it will be a long wait and the service will not be great.“

“I have been to this restaurant a few times with a friend and we have never been disappointed. The tofu appetizer is a must every time. I always order the vegetarian noodle soup. It's always hot and delicious. This place gets full of people at lunchtime which is a good sign. It's not a fancy place but the food is consistently of excellent quality and the servers are always friendly and efficient. Just writing this review is making me crave the food again!“

“Six senior citizens. Six separate checks. Five were on time, the 6th arrived about 25 minutes later. Our server was Emma. She was awesome! Friendly, funny, efficient and patient. She answered all of our silly questions and made sure we had everything we needed while waiting. Once the 6th person arrived, she took our orders and refilled waters and asked if anyone wanted additional drinks. Our meals arrived together and every special request was on target. The food was good and meals were large enough for leftovers for most of us. I would definitely go to Beni's again, and would be happy to be seated at Emma's table.“

“I’ve been here a few times, and it is really excellent. They have a larger menu than your typical CT family-style Mexican restaurant, and the food is more authentic. It’s very fresh and delicious and they have breakfast all day, including chilaquiles and breakfast burritos!! Also love the home-made hot sauce.The service is great and the people there are very friendly. I highly recommend eating here. They are waiting for their liquor license so it’s BYOB for now, but their non-alcoholic drinks like horchata and tamarind agua fresca are delicious. Definitely worth trying.“

We ordered the General Tso's Chicken dinner box and that was great! We also ordered the Pu Pu Platter and got, amongst the other items, 6 Chicken fingers and one fried shrimp! The rest of the platter was fine but one shrimp?!? It was very tasty too which made us all the sadder. Chicken fingers were good but 6 was quite a lot. Obviously, when packing the order someone got mixed up. Quality control! Anyway, that won't put us off from ordering again...just a heads up!“

“Tokyo Ramen is a great sit-down spot on the UConn campus. They have several different options including vegetarian/vegan ramen and rice bowls. Substitutions on menu dishes are welcome to make the perfect bowl for you. The service is always great and food comes out very quickly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated despite being in an older strip mall on campus. I also recommend adding the spicy chili pepper powder at the table to your ramen if you're into spice!“

“I’ve always loved wood n tap for many reasons & recently they added another reason to that list. A couple of days ago I had ordered a steak salad & sweet potato fries from them through Uber eats while I was at work. When it was delivered to me, the restaurant had accidentally given me someone else’s order, so I called them & explained what had happened. They offered to remake my food & I could come pick it up at no extra cost, but the only thing was that I wasn’t able to come pick it up because I was at work. When I told them this, a worker spoke with a manager & they offered to have someone from the restaurant deliver it to me! This was so kind & they also ended up including a free app coupon, gift certificate & two cookies. They went above & beyond, I highly recommend wood n tap to anyone who enjoys great drinks, food & service!!“

Then for entrees we had penne ala vodka with meatballs, and a turkey club with waffle fries. Everything was so tasty and fresh! The owners are very friendly and make you feel at home!“

“Great value for the money. Portion sizes when it comes to slices are larger than most other pizza joints. Flavors are on point. My three year old loves the cheese slices and totally eats 2 slices on Fridays as a treat after a whole week of eating regular food. I love that I can get what toppings I want on my slices. Great joint, unpretentious, consistent with great hours. Parking is my only concern as there is not an abundance of it.“

“I came here last night for the first time after a recommendation and so glad we did cause they did not disappoint. The decor is a little dated however we have the nicest waitress Natasha who made the evening so great. She was very prompt and friendly and really funny. The food portions were a generous size and everything we had was really good. We never once asked for water refills, she just kept them coming. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Will be returning to our new local favorite spot in the very near future and hopefully will get the same amazing waitress.“
