Dairy Queen (Treat) Ice Cream Shop • $
447 Main St, Torrington

“I do prefer the DQ up north a little more, its so loud at this location- they always get our order wrong but I think its because they have such a hard time hearing us order. the ice cream is just bland vanilla, or white I should say cuz I don't think there's actually any vanilla in it. my daughter buys into the toppings, But I do not.“

“Good food and people except for the heavyset girl who works drive through taking orders. She is constantly rude to her customers and whoever hands out the food, I dont think she is a manager but she acts like one while she is screaming in front of customers. I had one of the managers in a purple shirt talk to me after I witnessed her pushing people out of the way and yelling and she said that she would report it. I have been going here for years and havent said anything about it, but whenever I had to encounter her, she always caused an issue whether with missing food, incorrect drinks, or unprofessional behavior with her coworkers.“

“The restaurant was busy with one person behind the counter. The guy was didn't miss a beat with customer service. As the lunch rush was getting busier so was the line. A young lady came in and clocked in. The moment she clocked in she went to work. They both cleared the line and showed how a team is supposed to work.“

“Stopped in to have a quick lunch and were a little frustrated with the kiosk. My husband ordered a triple cheeseburger but it didn't let us know that that order is not offered as a meal. So we had to do things a little backwards to get what we wanted. The kind employee at the counter listened to our concern and helped us figure out what we were looking for.“

Chipotle Mexican Grill Mexican • $

“Going into this Chipotle I had an open mind. When I walked in Chipotle I saw the huge selection of food.I got the bowl. The bowl was perfect. I was just the right amount of food to fill me up.Sometimes I can even take some home. And it's just as good leftover. I have been going to Chipotle for almost a year now. I have had only one bad experience. But the Chipotle team fixed it and gave me a complete refund. Overall I love Chipotle and their whole team.“

“If you're willing to wait you'll be getting fresh food. In an effort to keep food costs low this particular KFC has decided to basically cook to order. I have eaten at this KFC a few times and on the last trip I went into the lobby to find out why the wait time is sooooo long. That's what I uncovered. If the restaurant owner reads this I also noticed that your entire management freaks out over the wait time in drive thru and lobby. That wait time is not what you think. It was put in place as a compromise between the EPA and the restaurant industry because of the amount of pollution from cars waiting in line. Once upon a time it was a real problem and congress considered a multiple of remedies until the restaurant lobbies came up with the wait clock. Thinking it would lessen the burden. For the most part it works. So if your management thinks by bumping the customer off the screen without being serviced is helping your store it's not! I noticed mass confusion trying to find bumped orders by way of receipts. Just stop bumping customers that haven't been served. It's NOT helping!!“
