“I returned to Mulligan's in Torrington because I decided to give their Bar-Rated Trivia another shot. I liked it the first time, but was more impressed with this visit. The music played stood out more and the crowd was upbeat and interactive without being overbearing. I will say, it got a bit loud at times, though I did arrive later than expected. I enjoyed the "two Daves" and my Riesling ($9). I took a few photos, so you'd get the idea.“
“Went on a date here and we had a great first experience! I had the fish tacos which were phenomenal! The fish was perfectly cooked and the chipotle sauce paired with the guac and sour cream pulled it all together nicely! Unfortunately, we did not catch the name of the two servers who helped us out and were extremely welcoming! We did go on a Friday night which they were extremely busy with the entire bar full, people waiting to be seated and a full dining room, our food took just about an hour to get to our table but was still hot and fresh! Definitely will go again.“
“The folks here are nice, fun, and everytime you are here, you feel like you've known them forever. Games, pool, karaoke, patio and more. If you aren't fun or adventurous, and judge a place only on curb appeal, you should probably stay home and drink by yourself.“
“A personal favorite, I've been a regular here for years. Open late, insanely friendly bar tenders, (seriously, they are all great!) pool, darts, juke box. Cozy hole in the wall to grab a drink after work or meet up with a couple friends any night of the week. Karaoke on Saturdays! Holiday parties year round! When you're there, you're friends with anybody and everyone. I wish they had food, that's my only gripe. But there's a couple great local spots on the same block, so it's not a big deal.“
“Nice atmosphere with friendly staff and patrons. Food is a notch up from usual bar/tavern fare as orders are prepared individually on a grill behind the bar. Have had numerous burgers and they are quite juicy while prepared as ordered. Fries are crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle. My wife says the crispy chicken sandwich is the best she's ever had! Oh, the beer selection is adequate and cold. What more do you want? Torrington's version of CHEERS!“
