“I get pizza here probably once a week. It's Greek style, very delicious and people are nice here. Their fried chicken dinner is amazing! The zing wings are great, especially with the zing hot sauce (ask for it!). It's a pizza restaurant with great options for entrees, apps and grinders as well. Family owned business. Ambiance is a casual pizza restaurant. They have a private room for private events as well. I had a birthday party for my son there once. It was great. Parking gets a little hectic when they're busy.“
“I absolutely love Vernon Pizza! Every single person is always friendly on the phone and in person, even when they're clearly very busy. The food is always hot and delicious. Love the chicken bacon cheddar wranch wrap, philly wrap, salads are huge and great, wings are awesome and did I mention the pizza rocks too?“
“Perfect little New England spot, just ate there yesterday! The pizza was absolutely amazing, it had a thin, crunchy crust, loads of toppings and was served piping hot within 15 minutes of stepping into the place, and the personal pizza was the size of a regular small at least, it was split between two people and that was plenty. The staff is super friendly and patient, and the atmosphere was really cozy. The place was also clean, and comfortable. I wanted to order another pie!Antonio's is our favorite spot, can't wait to go again. 5 stars all the way.“
“Love the food and so many desserts ! So much to choose from ! ? The sausage Parmesan dinner is my favorite though. I can’t help but ordering it almost every time I go.Parking: Easy right in front parking!Kid-friendliness: very sweet to my grandchildren each and every time I have been there ! Staff is phenomenal.“
“The pizza is either 5 stars or 2 stars and it depends on the day and who is cooking the pizza. Sometimes you get a pizza that is properly cooked and other times its doughy and soft on the bottom.I love the bartenders and I love the happy hour but the consistency of the pizza needs to be there. When it gets cooked right it's the best pizza in the area, when it's undercooked on the undercarriage then it's not very good at all.“
“Last night my husband and I attended a function at Georgina’s for the first time and we loved the food and the atmosphere. Harold was easy to work with on the event and I can tell he takes a great pride in his work and in making the customer happy. We will definitely be back to eat there was a family!“
“Solid across the board but it won't blow your mind. The sarsaparilla root beer was an interesting beverage that tasted closer to a life saver than traditional root beer. The fried mozzarella was crispy, salty, fresh, and flavorful. A solid 7.1/10. The burrata margherita pizza was most delightful when eating bites with the burrata, was very tomato sauce forward and on the sweeter side, with a solid crust. Nothing mind blowing here, but you could do a lot worse. 6.5/10. The calzone w/ meatballs benefited from the solid dough used in the pizza and the ricotta was very smooth and light (like it was whipped) and the other cheese was nice, but the meatballs had a strong anise flavor which really dragged down the dish. Even removing the meatballs from the scoring, it would be a 6/10 at best. Meatballs were a 1/10. All together, you won't be disappointed by the food but there is definitely room for improvement both on some major objective fronts and on the margins.Would recommend coming prior to 6pm on a Saturday. We were here around 5:15pm and had no wait and a small crowd. By 6pm the restaurant had a wait.“
“I was surprised when we got there, looks like a super typical town-y pizza place tucked in a somewhat dingy plaza. The inside is bright, clean, and not at all what I expected. The service was friendly and very fast. There was a steady stream of patrons but staff kept up well, all seemed to be having a good time. The meatballs in vodka sauce were delicious. Fettuccini Carbonara was flavorful and well balanced. I personally would have had more sauce, but I will just request that for next time. Ravioli are huge and generously stuffed. Highly recommended for a high quality Italian experience in an unassuming location.“
“The exterior is unassuming, to say the least, but the interior is warm and welcoming. We had the strongly recommended reservations and were promptly seated. Some lovely wines were forthcoming; I could not resist the "Prayers of Sinners and Saints" from Washington state, while my wife's Sella Antica Super Tuscan was superb. Warm bread and garlic oil arrived to whet our appetites. We celebrated her birthday with Pesce Del Giorno En Papillote (Sea Bass with saffron potatoes, herbs, lemon, capers, tomatoes, and olives) while I tucked into Braised Beef & Truffle Pappardelle with mushrooms, demi glace, and a touch of cream. Son wolfed the Spaghetti allo Scoglio with clams, mussels, white wine, garlic, and fresh parsley. We finished the feast with flourless chocolate cake, an apple tart, and raspberry truffle ice cream. The Trattoria features produce and products from local farms, and it shows. Very tasty throughout, and a wonderful way to celebrate any special occasion (or just the fact that it's Wednesday!)“
“I always drive by here, but have never stopped in before today. I am glad I finally did-- a gem of a local market in Ellington, DiFiore has a great selection of fresh made pastas, baked goods, oils, and hot food at reasonable prices. There are spaces to order at the counter and dine in at the cozy sitting room, or get takeout. I got takeout penne alla vodka (came w/ a complimentary focaccia) and two cannoli, both were delicious.“
“First timer, heard so many good reviews and did not disappoint!! Our waitress was wonderful and attentive. They gave our appetizer to the wrong table in error and the owner came right over and gave us another on the house. Food was delicious. And ate every bit. A+ and will definitely be back and recommend! The jazz band was fabulous!! We enjoyed our night out!“
“Love going to this well-established neighborhood bar/Italian restaurant. I live fairly close by. I treat myself once or twice a month here. I absolutely love the service, food and portion size. I eat my meal, and always have a take out portion for two more meals. The booths are roomy, and don't get me started on how good the mini baguette rolls are. Readers GO HERE. The bar side is always HOPPING! I may sit in there next time. Watch out!“
“Nestled in the heart of downtown Manchester, Connecticut, Cafe Aura offers an exquisite dining experience perfect for celebrating special occasions, such as anniversaries. Nestled in a renovated building, Cafe Aura impresses patrons right from the moment they step through the door. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant yet cozy, with a touch of sophistication in its decor. The renovation of the building is indeed noteworthy, as it seamlessly blends modern elements with classic charm. It's evident that attention to detail was a priority, and it certainly pays off.A highlight of Cafe Aura is undoubtedly the bar. With a fantastic selection of drinks and a welcoming atmosphere, it sets the perfect tone for an unforgettable evening. The Blood Orange Martini, in particular, stands out as a delightful choice, perfectly balanced and refreshing. As for the food, Cafe Aura truly shines with its authentic Italian cuisine. We indulged in a variety of dishes, each one exceeding expectations. The Risotto was creamy and flavorful, while the Lobster was cooked to perfection, showcasing the chef's skill and expertise. The Beet Salad provided a refreshing contrast, and the Calamari, sourced fresh, was a true delight for the senses.Furthermore, the wine list at Cafe Aura is extensive and well-curated, offering something for every palate. Whether you're a connoisseur or simply looking to enjoy a glass with your meal, you won't be disappointed.Overall, our experience at Cafe Aura was nothing short of exceptional. From the impressive renovation of the building to the impeccable service and delectable cuisine, every aspect exceeded our expectations. Hats off to the team at Cafe Aura for creating such a remarkable establishment. We look forward to returning for many more memorable celebrations in the future.Parking: Loads of parking in the back.“
“Great pizza and service. Pleasant experience and will be back! Not greasy food neither. We ordered the heart shaped pizza with different toppings. My husband loved the cheese amount and the fluffiness of the crust. We love a local mom and pops! ?“
“"When the promise is broken, you go on living But it steals something from down in your soul" (Bruce Springsteen) If the name of your business promises "Giant Grinders", well you better damn deliver on that promise, right? You'll get no broken promises from CJ's Pizza and Giant Grinders, because their grinders sure do deliver on your expectations. They have 25 different grinders that truly are GIANT and sold in half ($9ish) or whole ($17-$19ish) sizes. Grinders are served with Lettuce, Tomatoes and Cheese, with Peppers and Onions by request. I stopped by for two "half sized" grinders yesterday, a Giant Ham and Provolone with lettuce, tomato, and onions, and an equally Giant Italian Combo with lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers, and jalapenos. The portions were huge. The half grinders are quite big and are piled very high with the goods, so a half of the half will be enough for a great meal. Our two sandwiches ran around $23 after the extras and tax, but we are getting 4 meals out of that $23. They also sell pizzas and some very nice salad varieties and pasta dinners with sausage and meatballs. It's a very nice old school pizza/grinder joint and the folks I interacted with were super friendly and welcoming.“
“An amazing dining experience at Bricco’s. I had the pork chop and salad with potatoes. The pork by far was the best I ever had anywhere in the area. Folks next to me had chicken parm and scallops, who said those too were great choices. Be sure to add an IPA or a glass of wine to the list. Our server Carrie was great and overall atmosphere was nice too. Be sure to add this one to your must go list and Briccos will not disappoint.“
“Wonderful food! The amount of food for the price surprised me. My delivery bag seemed too heavy to just be what I ordered but it was. Penne Alfredo with broccoli w/ side salad, came with fresh baked garlic bread (I’m told they make their own bread), and a side (or what I think was an entire meal) of sweet potato fries. I will definitely be ordering again. Estimated delivery time was on point.“
“Went to Sunday brunch Jan 21st. I placed a review in Yelp; therefore; this will be brief. I thought the food and temperature of the food was excellent. Lots of varieties; meats; veggies; pasta; salads; fruit; sides and desserts. Mimosas; champagne and Bloody Mary's were great. Plenty of parking and fast seating. The hostess allowed us to choose any available table. Our Waiter (Junior) was attentive; fast; accurate; professional and funny?. I noticed the Wait staff and Hostess were dressed in uniformity; wearing white shirts and black slacks. HOWEVER; I could not believe my eyes ? when I saw the 2 guys at the carving and omelette station. They were wearing "street" clothes (sweats) and beanies on their heads. They were not dressed in uniforms; or at least wearing aprons and matching caps or a hair net. Thank God they had on gloves. Totally; totally unprofessional and unsanitary. Everything was good up until seeing that; very disappointing.“
“Excellent food.Great service. With 4.6 ⭐service they should be doing DoorDash because they need to get their food out there. The food's way too good for this place to be thii empty.❤️???I really wish they did delivery because I'd probably be ordering weekly.Vegetarian options: Willing to work with what they have.Wheelchair accessibility: Two doors with ground level entrance.“
“I came here a few days ago with my boyfriend. We had been to the Newington location before. This location is totally different and better. It was busy but we were seated quickly. We ordered a large pizza and some buffalo wings. Our food came quickly. Everything was great! I love this style of pizza. The crust size is perfect. Not too thick , not too thin. The amount of cheese and sauce was great too. It was very lively and there was a little arcade. It would probably be nice to bring kids here. We will definitely come here again.Parking: The parking lot is decent, its not big but its not small either. We came on a Saturday night yet it wasn’t difficult to find parking.“
“Came to Bertucci's for a Little chef's party for my son. We had a great time! The kids loved making their own pizzas and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was really good (veggie pizza is one of the best I've ever had), Chaz and Luna were so accommodating and attentive. Thanks again! Highly recommend!“
“Every time I go here I order something different. The portions are large and it is always good! Surprisingly I haven't had the pizza yet but they are always busy with to go orders for pizza! We usually have my daughter with us (baby in a high chair) and the staff is always so great!Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs available and are cautious when putting items on table. (Keeping them far away from baby hands!)“
“A nice solo eating place. Allen the server did a great job with the recommendation for soup selection. I had the grilled salmon. The veggie were delicious best I have had in a long time. A good variety selection on menu. I truly enjoyed my meal.“
“We really enjoyed our meal. The updates to the restaurant are lovely. The server was very helpful with my food allergy requirements and friendly about it. The food itself was delicious and plentiful, and creative. We both enjoyed our meal very much and we will be back!“
“The staff are all pleasant. Pizza and boneless wings are good. Chicken parm was my favorite but they recently changed the sauce, not a fan now. I feel like there food is going down hill a little.. maybe new cook or food supplier.. grinders have always been on the skimpy side though. When I ordered last week everything was slightly different than it used to be a short time ago. Hopefully they make a comeback.“
“Lena's longevity in business is backed by it's cozy, family atmosphere, quality food, service and comparable pricing. ? For me personally, the eggplant has gotten too thin & crispy. (It's like eating fried bread crumbs chips.) We prefer a red sauce that sticks to the pasta with each bite. Lena's is a family favorite with easy access in & out.“
“While they aren't perfect and their pizza tends to be too salty/sodium heavy for whatever reason, it is some of the best pizza and Italian food in town. Period. I never have anything from here that I don't love.I first discovered them in Newington and West hartford, where they began when I lived in that area. When I moved back to Manchester and they put a spot here, I was ecstatic. The ingredients are fresh and made to order, and everything is well seasoned. They know how to make a solid white pie and calzone and season their ricotta/cheese blend. My only issue is that the grinders are only 12 inches rather than a 16-inch option. I'd like to see them offer that. The fried mozzarella is tasty but small for what they charge. But these are nitpicking. They also do the best Detroit style pie in town. Overall, I highly recommend it. They just need to curb the sodium in the pies a bit.“
“I used to work in a pizza place just like that when I was young. Boy did those memories come back. I loved the smell of the place, the pizza cooking, olive oil, garlic and all of that combined reminded me of the place where I used to work. I was very surprised how good the food was. I eat gluten free because I have to and the pizza was really good and the salad was fresh. I was very impressed and will go back.“
“I’ve been going to South Windsor pizza for a while now. The salads are pretty good and my favorite pizza is the Diginorio pizza. Beach chicken pizza is pretty good. The wraps are ok they give a lot of fries. Some of the people that work there are very nice. I’ve had both good and bad experiences from this place. The price isn’t too bad. Just be polite and you’ll be alright. They sometimes mess up the order, but hey, we are human. Only get the tuna stuff if you really like tuna they put a lot of it. Their fries are pretty good. Grinders are good no complaints there. I’ll continue to go I’ve been going consistently for years. Peace ✌️“
“I used to work here like 15 years ago. The quality of the food was fantastic. I see a lot of rude comments people say about Robert and his wife they where so nice to me when I worked there, people have to understand it's a small family business and they have been working hard to give manchester ct good food, so take it easy people.“
“Great value for the money. Portion sizes when it comes to slices are larger than most other pizza joints. Flavors are on point. My three year old loves the cheese slices and totally eats 2 slices on Fridays as a treat after a whole week of eating regular food. I love that I can get what toppings I want on my slices. Great joint, unpretentious, consistent with great hours. Parking is my only concern as there is not an abundance of it.“
“Angelo's is our favorite pizza spot in Glastonbury!! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and my kids look forward to coming with me to pick up the Togo orders. I recommend a large cheese pizza every time, the Caesar salad is one of the best, and the pasta dishes are so fresh! Also grab a dessert or two from the dessert counter!!“
“The "half" sandwich was the size of my head. Great value. Delicious. Everything comes with hot sauce; be sure to ask for no hot sauce if you don't like spicy. The hot ham & turkey club (no hot sauce, add pickle and onion) was SO GOOD. Ham and bacon and flavorful veggies. ? Happy Vivi. ?“
“This Olive Garden has amazing food, nice servers, and great service! The food was so great they were very generous portions and everyone at my table thought the food was great. Our server was so nice and recommended some dishes that she likes and the dishes were good. Lastly the service was very quick, we came in very early about 11:30 for lunch and the food came out in less than 20 minutes. The breadsticks and salad was amazing as usual and we will definitely be back! 10/10!Kid-friendliness: There was kids menus with activities that definitely will keep kids busy!“
“We had been looking for a place for lunch or dinner that was local and not a chain. Been driving by it for years and finally checked it out. The decor is a little dated so if classier atmosphere is what you're looking for go elsewhere. If you want well prepared italien food, larger portions, reasonable prices, friendly, efficient waitstaff and in a warm, family familiar setting....you have arrived!“
