“We went here for a great friend's birthday ! Made reservations and sat outside. The view was great, it was a bit windy so definitely felt some cold air. We tried a few different drinks, the cocktails are not great at all. I asked originally for a pink sangria that I saw online on their website, didn't have it. So I asked for a white sangria they gave me a sugar and spice one it was ok to say the least, then I tried a sex on the river. If you like STRONG DRINKS go with that one. I had to ask to put some sprite because it was crazy strong. Chloe was our server. Everyone ordered at the same time, waited about 20/25 minutes three plates came out except mine, I had to wait about an extra 15 minutes, which I found upsetting. Don't get me wrong the food was delicious but just sad we expect our food to come out all at the same time or atleast I wouldn't have mind waiting 4 or 5 minutes. But 15 minutes was too much, my friends kept waiting for me and their food was getting cold. I felt so bad and it wasn't even my fault. One of the owners was going around when we first got there, she should of came after so I could of told her all of this.Parking: Great parking! Just head into the building and head to the back there is another restaurant before the river so don't get confused. Just keep walking to the back !“
“The old town is one of the only bars i will probably ever give 5 stars. this place feels like home. the bar is all old dark wood filled with carvings of all the generations of the town. ample seating is available always. bathrooms are clean. decent draft for a dicey bar. pool tables are free on mondays! and a new pizza place is available monday through friday that is great. service is incredible, bartenders are kind and personable always. this is the best spot in our area and i'll grateful to have been introduced to it“
“I wanted to visit my ex coworker Zach @ J Gilberts and maybe get a Burger cuz that's what I had my only time there and its one of the best burgers I've ever had. Plus I didnt want to go too crazy. But when I got there Zach told me about the 16Oz Dry Aged Kansas City Strip Steak Special that they had. I decided to go all out cuz I wantedto see if their steaks measured up to their reputation. Zach recommended a Pinot Noir from Washington that was a perfect pairing for the steak. I gotta say the green beans that I had with a jam and crumbled pecans were insanely good with the garlic mashed potatoes. AND the steak had a nice charred exterior with a perfect juicy medium rare interior. I decided to treat myself and if you are ever thinking of doing the same go to J Gilberts and ask for Zach....you won't be disappointed....you will have one of your best restaurant experiences of your life!“
“Had a huge burger, perfectly cooked, must have been flamed broiled as it had those nice crispy bits that can't be replicated with anything but fire. The pulled pork mac & cheese was great too, heaping portion of a nice creamy mac topped with pulled pork, bbq sauce, and finished with toasted bread crumbs. First timer, was there for Tuesday night pool league, had live music and good food, give it a whirl.“
“Yesterday we celebrated our son 16th birthday we had an amazing host by the name of Zack. he's very welcoming to me and my family I would recommend Zack to anyone that has a special needs child to host your next event, thank you so much Montana nights and Zack.“
“My wife and I had our first dinner at Vinted Wine Bar tonight. My wife has had a good amount of experience at Vinted, but it was my first time there. Top to bottom... TRULY EXCELLENT!! We shared a nice bottle of Daou Cab while sitting at the bar, and started with the Whipped Hummus, with Crispy Scallion Cake. Best Hummus you'll ever eat, and the warm crispy thin cake slices are very delicious with the Hummus. Terrific! Then we split and shared 2 entrees: The Chicken Milanese, and the Vinted Prime Burger. Both, also super delicious. Rich, flavorful, perfectly prepared by the talented crew in the kitchen lead by the executive chef, and partner, Mike Voight. Ate every bite of everything. Lastly, for desert we shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. Holy cow, that is one incredible desert. Our bartender Chris was very helpful, friendly, and although busy had time to talk with us. And we found all the staff, extremely personable. Mike has a finely tuned ship in Vinted. We'll be back. #impressed“
“If you love fresh seafood dishes prepared well and a great bloody mary, this is the place. I like a lot of horseradish in my bloody marys and that is what you will find here. They know how to treat gueats, they willingly split our salad and our entree.“
“Excellent authentic Getman food. Great atmosphere, especially since the wait-staff wear traditional German clothing. My only complaint is having to look for street parking since the restaurant's parking lot was full. I guess that is to be expected on a Saturday night at 6PM!“
“Dante and the crew hosted the Wolf Pack Booster Club and the Providence Bruins Fan Club for family dinner yesterday! It was awesome. The food was amazing, the service was awesome and the experience was great. I appreciated that they were able to accomodate a large group before a big game. Awesome Cheeseburger pizza as always!! The garlic knots and the meatballs were also amazing!“
“First time here at this location 2nd time eating at Hook & Reel. I will definitely come back here. The manager was amazing and very attentive to everyone. my waitress was great. We chose the all you can eat. There were lots to choose from. The food was fresh and tasty. I would recommend this location. The atmosphere was nice and chill. The place was clean . 5 stars from us.“
“I was surprised when we got there, looks like a super typical town-y pizza place tucked in a somewhat dingy plaza. The inside is bright, clean, and not at all what I expected. The service was friendly and very fast. There was a steady stream of patrons but staff kept up well, all seemed to be having a good time. The meatballs in vodka sauce were delicious. Fettuccini Carbonara was flavorful and well balanced. I personally would have had more sauce, but I will just request that for next time. Ravioli are huge and generously stuffed. Highly recommended for a high quality Italian experience in an unassuming location.“
“The ambience was very welcoming and high end. We had just come from dropping our son off to college in the area and was uneasy about the dress code but they were more than welcoming. The food was outstanding but the service... (Jason) went above and beyond. After driving so far and spending the day moving our son in this was just what we needed. We had the oysters , tuna tartare, lobster pierogies for starters ! Delicious! For dinner my daughter had the dry aged burger and she loved it . I had the surf and turf ( amazing) my husband had the prime NY strip. Cocktails were great. I just can't say enough about the service from front desk to our waiter .. we now know Everytime we come to CT we will definitely eat here again !!! Thanks Jason and staff!! You made a difficult day all the much more pleasant for our family.“
“Highly recommend the Pinono empanadilla!!!! All her dishes come out super fresh so appreciate the time wait!!! Worth it EVERY TIME. Bar always has fast and respectful service. Plays the football games. Love the pool table and hooka is a plus!!!“
“Great wait staff! Pros- Service was excellent! Many of food items were delicious- puff pastry, pate, panzanella salad, halibut, scallops, crème brûlée, chocolate mousse. Cons- tried to seat us at back table next to restrooms (common experience for older women); we asked for window seating and they accommodated. “Hamachi Crudo-Thai basil, peanut, strawberry”was over-sauced, sauce was heavy, had many jalapeños!; all disguised delicate flavor of fish.“
“This place is one of my favorite restaurants to go out with the family enjoying good atmosphere food and pleasant service. This place is one of my favorite restaurants to go out with family enjoying good food, atmosphere and pleasant service.“
“I took my wife here for a second birthday dinner last summer. We had received a gift certificate from a friend. Best clams casino I ever had. The lasagna was awesome and the portion was more than Icould eat. My wife said her meal was excellent. Our waitress was very personable, accommodating and made the dining experience here very enjoyable. The only reason we haven't been back is just that you get busy and time has a habit of slipping away.“
“I have been to this restaurant several times; I recently took my whole family for a special occasion and was not disappointed! Klodian was our waiter and was fantastic!! He offered wonderful food suggestions and delivered great service! Each time he came over to our table he was checking in, offering suggestions, and making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back and I hope that he is our waiter again!“
“The food is out of this world!!!!! The fried chicken is so moist and perfect. I got the honey mustard wrap and garlic parm fries and it was divine!!! My bf got the southern fried chicken and it was phenomenal. Even the nachos and chilli were fantastic! Cannot go wrong here. 10/10!!“
“This spot is one of my go to restaurants. The food is creative and locally sourced, there are fun specials, the cocktails are hit/miss. Service depends on how busy the restaurant is, it seems like the servers get relatively large sections so when it's busy you might not see your server for a while but they are very attentive when you can get a hold of them. The dessert and coffee is always very good!“
“This is an excellent place for authentic Polish food. The Belvedere platter is great if you can’t make up your mind and the Hungarian goulash is fantastic. Only drawback to this place is the early closing time but it’s worth planning your day around.“
“Red rock is a great place to gather and have a delicious meal. They have great rotating specials and a menu that can accommodate a wide array of diets. Some of my favorite items they serve are eggplant Parmesan, their homemade hummus, all of their salads, and any pasta dish they serve.“
“We had food experience, everything is made in house. The staff is excellent and we got to meet the chef and the owner's son. My wife and I travel quite a lot in America and Europe especially Austria and we have to say this is a hidden Gem. Everything we had was above and beyond. Thank you everyone at Carmine's for an excellent meal and good time.“
“The experience at 1001 was incredible, we were there to celebrate my sister's birthday with about 10 people, each of us ordered different typical Mexican dishes, quesadillas, tacos, burritos, soda, water that comes with the house, it is a charming presentation. The prices are very affordable, most are under 20 dollars. The place is well located, it has free parking, a green area where you can eat outside with a view of the main avenue. The attention to service was most attentive.Parking: No warm or any inconvenience when parking. It has parking in the front area for two hours.Kid-friendliness: Children are allowed. It has all the accommodations for children/high chair.“
“I honestly did not have high hopes for this place. But I am happy to say that we have gotten food here about 5 times now, and it's great. Good prices, and they deliver incredibly fast. The sushi is great, if you are a sushi purest type of person, which I mean stay away from the crazy rolls and stick with some sashimi or nigiri, they do an awesome job with it. Perfect cuts, perfect temperature. If I had to critique I would say, use less panko in your spicy rolls and those could be fantastic too. I will keep going back!“
“Loved the atmosphere and the drinks were amazing. I would says that the food was not the best. It’s more for drinks and I get that, but if you have the kitchen and the space to make food, use that and make it great. We had Parmesan tater tots but it was cold. It tasted microwaved. And I didn’t like it. The service was slow for having staff and not that many people there. He was so sweet but the service was slow.“
“I went here with some of my lady friends. We had a wonderful luncheon. Everything was delicious. Friendly staff and everyone was so helpful.Vegetarian options: Clearly labeledDietary restrictions: If u have specific requests they will accommodate youParking: Free parkingKid-friendliness: Kid menuKid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible“
“Typical bar, give me Winchester vibes.Went here for a quick drink and some food while my son was across the street for a movie night.Food was delicious, extra cheese and all of it wonderful. We grabbed an order of nachos and the sampler platter and mozzarella sticks were extra cheesy. Prices were awesome, would definitely check it out again.“
“Omg everything was soooo good, I would say the drinks suck because it’s not giving upscale and very cheap tasting liquor, I felt like I was drinking a happy hr drink from Outback Steakhouse. I tried several, so yeah!! I would definitely go back for the food!!Parking: Best best to get an Uber!!“
“I have yet to write a review of something l haven’t seen, BUT I am the biggest fan of Drag Brunches and have only ever attended them in NYC - but l am ever so excited to go to Piggy’s for Sunday Brunch.STAY TUNED FOR MY FOLLOW UP REVIEW FROM YOIR FAVE FAG HAG!!! Love You All!!! ?️???“
“Came solo looking for a place I could relax and have a beer with locals. Yea this was it! They had musician Steve McGrath playing he was amazing. I got their signature Winchester burger and it was perfect. Chilled here for a couple hours a couple beers and it just feels like home.“
“I was just there this past weekend and I need to give a big shout out to our waiter Brian he was amazing! His service was on point and he was friendly! The food was delicious and the drinks too! The place was clean and the music was nice. Can’t wait to try more of the food! “
“This was one of the best restaurant experiences of my life. Our waitress Diep, was so kind, so helpful, and just so fun! She made this experience a time to remember. I would recommend the truffle fries, the mac and cheese, the garlic bread, which is a new food item on the menu. The garlic bread has blue cheese and pesto. It was so good! I loved it so much! All in all, I am coming back again and again!Parking: So many parking spots, there is a parking garage.“
“I have never had a bad time or meal while visiting Digger's. I also have enjoyed many birthday parties and other events . They have a semi private banquet room and a large menu to order from when having parties big or small .Vegetarian options: They have salad fries onion rings giant pretzels and if person eats cheese, nachos mozzarella sticks +.Kid-friendliness: When the kitchen is open, children accompanied by parents are welcomed for great bar fare. There is an additional back room with plenty of tables and an outdoor area with ample seating .Parking: There is a large parking lot. When the place is jamming, there's additional parking on the north side of the building and across the street in a strip mall.Wheelchair accessibility: Large doors at entrance spacious room and handicap bathroomsDietary restrictions: They will try to accommodate everyone's needs if possible.“
“Loving the vibe of krust. Always a cozy spot for friends to meet and have a night out on Main Street. Great services, great food, great drinks, and never gets old! Wish there was a location closer to Simsbury in our area! Pictures say it all. Huge fan of the pepperoni pies and hanger steak special appetizers.“
“Not sure what problems the last reviewer had, but clearly he hasn't been there since new mgmt. took over in 2019. I've had numerous events at the club, and the staff has been nothing but wonderful. Great food, attentive service...every detail covered. And indoor to boot! Great place to have a membership!“
“Could this be any more of a neighborhood bar there is a little something of everything in here and I noticed there's a certain amount of respect for people just don't go over the line well maybe once in a while but what dysfunctional family doesn't have that“
“Amazing potato pizza, flavor was phenomenal. Also got wings which I will give 7 out of 10 for the teriyaki and 5 out of 10 for Buffalo hot. Hot did not have any real heat. Wings were not crispy but still thoroughly cooked. Overall experience was 9. Server was on point all night.“
“As close as you can get to Dominican Republic. Delicious food but wished the portions were as big as they are in Dominican Republic lol. I recommended their rice and beans and breakfast options. I always say I will take a picture but forget each time. The aroma food smell capture me every time.“
“When I lived in the Hartford area, First and Last was a regular haunt. Now that I live in the South, I find myself jonesing for the First and Last grilled sausage and peppers, served with side of shells in marinara. It rarely gets better than this, even if you find the real Italian sausage; I've been living in Charleston, a foodie paradise, but I have yet to find the real, homemade salsiccia that you get at First and Last, or buy at D&D market, close by. So mangia Hartford, and pray that this place never changes!“
“We went here for dinner Friday night. The service was good and the food was great. The portions and ratios were spot on. The prices are certainly reasonable. Everything was what we had hoped for - expectations were met. They even have Yuengling beer!We had cheesecake for dessert and I was impressed with how Kristen brought the tea and cheesecake out together. I can’t tell you how many people screw this up. The cheesecake was decent, but I think next time I will try the carrot cake. There will certainly be a next time…In the past, I had only gone here for company Christmas parties and had found the food to be very good.“
