“love a good Gastro pub and Union Kitchen did not disappoint. Truly wonderful and friendly staff. genuinely nice people which is a refreshing surprise. The food was excellent. Stuffed Queen Olives and Whipped Ricotta toast were incredible. main courses Shrimp and Scallop risotto and the Lobster Rigstoni arrabbiata could stand up to some of the best italian and seafood restaurants. Atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. would definitely visit again.“

Max Fish, one of the best places I've ever eaten, is an utterly tasty AF New England seafood-focused restaurant in Glastonbury, Connecticut that serves up the best of the best from the Ocean, an absolute seafood haven: delicious Jumbo Lumped Crab Cake, so decadent Lobster and Shellfish Linguine, and don't forget the creamy New England Clam Chowder. I needed to lap up all of that cheesy goodness and get stuck in Max Fish's epic Truffle Mac and Cheese. It treated my cheesy cravings as a Mac and Cheese addict. “My wife and I had our first dinner at Vinted Wine Bar tonight. My wife has had a good amount of experience at Vinted, but it was my first time there. Top to bottom... TRULY EXCELLENT!! We shared a nice bottle of Daou Cab while sitting at the bar, and started with the Whipped Hummus, with Crispy Scallion Cake. Best Hummus you'll ever eat, and the warm crispy thin cake slices are very delicious with the Hummus. Terrific! Then we split and shared 2 entrees: The Chicken Milanese, and the Vinted Prime Burger. Both, also super delicious. Rich, flavorful, perfectly prepared by the talented crew in the kitchen lead by the executive chef, and partner, Mike Voight. Ate every bite of everything. Lastly, for desert we shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. Holy cow, that is one incredible desert. Our bartender Chris was very helpful, friendly, and although busy had time to talk with us. And we found all the staff, extremely personable. Mike has a finely tuned ship in Vinted. We'll be back. #impressed“

“I used to love coming here pre pandemic! I brought my friend with me from out of town and we were having a GREAT night with the bartender Dustin (who literally was excellent), and at the end of the night it was just my friend, the owner, and I. The conversation was calm and civil and fun and suddenly out of NOWHERE the owner proceeded to verbally assault us, calling us expletives and making us feel unsafe and unwelcome. We decided it was no longer for us and stepped outside, at which point he FOLLOWED US OUTSIDE and alternated between apologizing and cursing at us and begging us to come back inside until we left. I’m glad we didn’t go back inside as his behavior was erratic and potentially dangerous, considering we were two women and he is a much larger man. We were afraid and felt safer walking home (in Hartford that says something) rather than staying put. I’m bummed because I used to like this place, but it’s come to my attention we are certainly not the only women with this experience. Please be careful y’all.“

“Very good ramen! Not the best, but definitely quality. The broth is very good, the meats are a bit chewy, but can sometimes be expected with those cuts.This place has - phenomenal atmosphere.They seem to try to come up with some creative cocktails as well. Including spiked boba, (which was not my cup of tea) no pun intended, but was still good. I’d just prefer my alcohol separate, but worth the try nonetheless.Shim was a great server.“

“Celebrated a birthday dinner at Trattoria Toscana last night. We were a party of 5 and even though our table wasn't ready when we arrived, we only had to wait a few minutes. For a Monday night, the restaurant was very busy, which is always a good sign. Our water glasses were filled almost immediately and our server came over just a few minutes later to welcome us and get our drink orders. We opted to just get entrees and dessert so we skipped the apps. Among the meals ordered were the salmon, the scallop special, eggplant parm and two pasta dishes. One thing to note...if you are a vegetarian it is not the easiest menu to order from. Most of the entress, even the salmon, has pancetta in it so just be aware. The only real option for meatless meals are the salads or the eggplant parm. A vegetarian pasta dish would have been a nice addition but that is the only issue we had with the menu. The food was delicious and the perfect amount. Everything was cooked to order and came out in a very reasonable amount of time. The bread they gave us was also delicious. For dessert we had cappuccino, tiramisu and creme brulee. We had no complaints about the dessert...it was all wonderful. While they knew we were celebrating a birthday there was no acknowledgment with the desserts (candle or special dessert for the birthday girl) but that is just a minor thing and in no way changed our experience. We would definitely return and recommend to others.“

“Service was on the slow side, however the dining area was busy. My chicken sandwich was delicious and juicy, and I would definitely order it again. However the $1.50 for the up charge on french fries was not worth it. The fries were soggy, limp and unseasoned.It wasn't all bad. Like I said I really enjoyed my beer and my chicken sandwich.Parking: Nice new looking building but parking seems limited.“

“I was at Kbarr 2 Friday's ago June 16th to be exact I had a great time. I just missed the happy hour ?‍? lol but still had a great time food was amazing Maddie the bartender was great made the best rum punch I've ever had it was better than the rum punch I was drinking in Jamaica...the food was great as well as the atmosphere I definitely can't wait to go back to see my Girl Maddie she's my new favorite bartender. “Food was great! We went for NYE. It was fun and the food was surprisingly very good, I say surprisingly, due to the fact that they had run out of the steak frites . I was able to add the steak to my Cesar salad and it was so yummy! Also the calamari was excellent!Crème brûlée is a MUST.“

“Went in on a Wednesday for a business meeting with 3 partners, we sat at the bar to have a drink, the bartender Emma was a delight. She was friendly with such a warm personality. There was a young man filling the cooler with bottles of beer who joined the conversation, we stayed longer than expected and I will be back with my wife. “Good location and a nice reconditioned hotel in the heart of Hartford. Room was nice and well appointed with a very large bathroom. The valet parking attendant was very nice as he removed several empty water bottles from our car, asking us first before doing so, but all initiated by him. We did not eat in the restaurant and walked through the lobby bar. Both looked nice and interesting but we wanted to see some of the surrounding neighborhood.“
