“I ordered a sundae and a root beer float from Uber eats. After I ordered, gopher called me up saying they didn’t have root beer, I told them that it was fine and I just wanted a refund. The guy on the phone was really nice and he asked if I needed anything else. I told him no, but thank you.Later on when I got my order, I noticed there was a ton of stuff in there. I was really confused because I didn’t order anything else besides a sundae. I found a huge container of gummy bears, a gopher certificate (for one ice cream cup or cone), a few scoops of ice cream in a tub, and a note.I looked at the note, and it said:____________________Hi! Sorry we cannot refund so please take this free stuff-Love Gofer_________________The guy who was working the October 9th evening shift at around 7 pm (sorry for being very specific) deserves a huge raise for being able to take on situations regarding customers. He took on this manner in such a kind and conscientious way. Which makes me very happy and now I don’t even care about my refund because of the kindness he showed to make up for a stupid refund. I hope gopher management sees this and knows that they are training their in a very efficient way.Gopher ice cream has an assortment of flavors and many types of choices when it comes to milkshakes, etc. The customer service is also immaculate.“
“I've tried both the chocolates and the ice cream, and both are absolutely delicious. When we heard they were out of peanut brittle, my friend was tearing up. That's how good it is. Plus the staff are really nice and helpful! And even the bathroom is clean, they really did a good job with this. I would definitely recommend this place!“
“Tasty gelato. Nice variety of flavors. Price is as expected for New Canaan.Staff were young, but attentive. Only has a few small tables inside. Seems primarily set up to have you take your treat and go. But they also serve coffee, espresso, americano, and a nice affogato, and will give you a proper cup if you tell them you are ‘eating in.’Note: Tips are cash only.“
“If I had to choose between going here or any ice cream shop nearby, this is definitely the choice. I had a vanilla soft serve on a cone with cherry dip with rainbow sprinkles. Great flavor and their cherry dip taste fresh and had a nice crisp. Definitely the best ice cream shop around!“
“A great cup of coffee served in a welcoming and eclectic cafe.I ordered a Caramel Cafe Latte and a Cheese Danish and paid just over $9 for both. The coffee was hot, well brewed, and had the perfect amount of caramel. The cheese danish was also great, but the added sugar on the pastry didn’t seem necessary.I loved the artwork on display and the homage to elephants. The mock fireplace was a nice touch but to me, the black furniture and the gray walls felt a tad stale. And while there was plenty of seating, I would have preferred some extra light while enjoying my book.This space is well worth the delicious coffee and the parking fiasco. I’m excited to come back and hopefully nosh on their delicious gelato.“

“I am married to a Russian woman and we love coming here because they offer such great Russian and Ukrainian products. We love their selection of foods because it reminds us of food from her home country. We love their Kvass and Syrok and sunflower seeds. We also love their freshly made salads. They taste so good and they're so authentic. When you go there, you always feel like you're back in Russia or Ukraine. Overall, I would recommend this deli if you want an excellent taste of Slavic food from Eastern Europe. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!“
“Love this place, love all their different teas. But most of all I love their vegan/GF banana bread. I travel here on purpose just for this. It's a small and quiet little bistro but an adorable, cozy place. Everyone here is always friendly. Only thing parking at times is a bit difficult. But that won't stop me from stopping here.“
