we had a lovely experience at the Benjamin! The food was truly wonderful, as was the service and the ambience . We went on a Sunday evening, so it was nice and quiet.  we definitely will go back.!
The food is delicious and well executed. Halibut is so soft and juicy and the couscous is a perfect touch. There was a lamb special that my husband loved. The dessert was chocolate cake that was really good. The mocktails and cocktails are delightful. The service is very attentive, they spare no detail.

Very good tasting food served in an elegant “New England type” dining room. French/ American cuisine. Among the appetizers, Deviled Eggs and Smoked Trout Rillettes were very good. The special ‘soup of the day' Celery Root Veloute was very tasty. Among the entrees, Olive oil poached Halibut and Pan-seared Scallops were very good. Among the desserts, Crème Brûlée and Cheesecake were good. Good wine list with some good wine-by-the glass options. Good service.
