Situated inside the dining hall of The Roost! Got an iced americano, with oat milk and lavender syrup. It's only one size. Lavender syrup was really slight, not worth the $1 imo. Same with the oat milk. Drinks come out fast.
Cameo is the coffee shop inside The Roost, a “culinary club" in Hill East across the street from the Potomac Avenue Metro. If you go through the doors of the Blackbird, the apartments within the building, Cameo is to the right next to Shop Made In DC.The coffee shop is a wrap around bar with bar seating, a long wooden table and a few soft chairs in the corner. The coffee drinks served by this place are reasonably good, albeit a tad bit pricey. In addition, the atmosphere of this coffee shop is seemingly laid-back, mellow, jovial, and ultra low pressure. My only complaint is the lack of variety in regard to the sweetners for the coffee.
