“The Queen Vic is located on the H Street Corridor. It is a fun pub and event space. I like the royal theme. Check the web site for hours since they vary. The DC Street car runs by H Street. The area can be sketchy at night. Stay with your group and have a cross body bag. It can get crowded on weekends. The menu is typical British pub food.“
“we went to the Vegas location and how Gordon Ramsay can put his name to the crap this place serves up is beyond belief. the batter is way to thick and over cooked and the highlight should not be the Dijon mayonnaise that comes with the food. terrible food and a waste of $39“
“Two words. Pleasantly surprised. I came here on a Wednesday night, which is when Artemis have RnB night with live music. I arrived 30 mins early to ensure I had a seat. I walk in and the place is empty, which is usually not a good sign. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was super cool and nice. She ensured my group that the place would fill up. I ordered a drink and the catfish filet sandwich. The drink was a real drink if you know what I mean. No extra frills, nice, strong, and right to the point. Just the kind I like. The catfish was surprising really good too. The show kicks off and the band and the lead singer was great. They covered songs that we all knew, and my group and I sang along and had a great time. Also, one of the band members thanked us for coming and supporting and purchased a shot for my friend who's birthday it was. And as the bartender promised, the place filled up and the whole vibe was perfect. I'm glad we stuck around. If you're looking for live music on a Wednesday night, check out this place. It's not super flashy or anything, but you'll have a good time.“
“I think this is really a bar. We were looking for salmon in the area,(google) was offered this place. They had salmon but only bar food to go with it. The Salmon was poorly cooked and the waitress wasn't paying attention because my partner never got his Salmon(might have been a good thing cause it was poorly cooked)$80 for 1 piece of Salmon a basket of fries and 2 shots. Maybe they shouldn't open till 9p or 10 pm cause if you think you gonna get dinner you may get a surprise, I wonder why google offered this place as a dinner place maybe the restaurant pick the wrong label . idk“
“The fish and chips are great and more than enough in a serving. I’m very impressed with the variety of English items they carry such as the chocolates, biscuits, and other candy. They also have alcohol which is a plus! The chef is always swagged out, funny, and takes the time to explain items on the menu.“
“It was a bustling Sunday afternoon and a line started to build as I approached the counter. One of the team members was kind enough to open another register and cut the line down. I waiting about 15 minutes and my salmon burger was ready! The sweet potato fries and salmon burger were not the best I've ever had, I would return because of the customer service and it's once of the spots that gives me several options as a pescatarian.“
“First off, Dave the owner and his beautiful wife are AMAZING people‼ They always treat my husband and myself like family. Now, for the food. My favorite on the menu is the Jamaican Jerk Ribs (served on weekends only), Collard Greens and Mac & Cheese. The flavor is sooooo delicious and reminds me of true, authentic Jamaican food (because it is). The meat falls off the bone...it's just that good and flavorful. The other dish I like is the Oxtail. OMGosh‼ The flavor makes my mouth explode with deliciousness‼ The food is not only good, but it's consistent each and every time we eat there. That's the big difference between Jammin Island BBQ and other restaurants...consistency!If you want some good, authentic Jamaican food, I highly recommend Jammin Island BBQ‼‼Thanks for the AWESOME food Dave‼“
“The food is always a good. With these restaurants it’s always a hit or miss but for the most part it’s pretty good. The service is below average. Their point is to take you order and get you your food. Don’t expect any level of hospitality.Atmosphere??? There isn’t much of one. It feels like a dine in restaurant going out of business soon.“
“Let me start off by saying today is my birthday and I had a unexpected expensive start to my day. I say that to set the tone for what kind of f..ked up mood I was in and what my expectations I had for ordering from here. Welp, staff was extremely friendly and patient. I was acknowledged when i walked into the store and left alone to study the menu without being asked are you ready? every five minutes. I order the 4 pc whiting diner and it came out perfect for my first time patronizing the franchise. I love my fish well done and it was like a fluffy chip. However, the extremely small portion of coleslaw stuffed into a condiment cup for a 4 pc dinner was disappointing however I don't care for coleslaw anyway but I would had settle for a substitute of fries if I had known in advance. Overall, I highly recommend this location and yes, i will be a returning customer.Wheelchair accessibility: Lowered curb“
“I’ll be honest, this restaurant has never really interested me because its standard Irish fare feels overpriced for what it is. However, I came in for their Monday night “I Am a Sandwich” special from 5-9pm, which also happens at the same time as their game night. I ordered the AKA “AJ” Smash Burger. The old bay onions were not to my personal taste and I probably should have asked for them on the side, but the rest of the burger was fantastic! I don’t typically enjoy old bay, so I don’t think I was the target audience. The combination of crab dip, soft bread, crunchy lettuce, and flavorful burger was fantastic. I hope this pop up will stay long enough that I can come back to try another one of the options! My 4 star review reflects the fact that I’ve only had pop up food, so I can’t vouch for the overall quality of regular menu food.“
“Well let’s see where do I start? I go in this place with my wife to purchase 2 crab cake sandwiches. When I heard the price I was really piss the F off. I really had to use the restroom really bad so I’m already frustrated. I bite the dam crab cake sandwich and I’m really pissed. This had to be the best dam crab cake I ever had. Aye Joe the tea blew my mind. My wife says I thought you had to go the bathroom? I forgot about the bathroom that’s how good the food was. Hey Mr Ron you are the goat.If you get a chance give it a shot you won’t be disappointed!!!!“
“So glad Hip Hop Fish & Chicken is in Beltsville with an added twist of Pizza. It is a huge location with an endless menu. I highly recommend their chicken wings, fried broccoli cheddar bites, and fried mac & cheese bites. Also the customer service was absolutely wonderful. I really enjoyed this location it's nice compared to others that I have been too.“
“Really wish I could give this place a better rating! The people running the place were so nice and friendly — and it’s a great local establishment. Our rockfish sandwich was fine — but we had two catfish sandwiches, and the breading on both was just too salty. Maybe we got a bad batch, so I’m willing to give the place a second try!“
