Nestled in the heart of the city, this holiday escape, even under a tent, was nothing short of delightful. The festive atmosphere with twinkling lights and charming decorations created a magical vibe. A Peppermint Hot Chocolate spiked with Rumple Minze Peppermint Schnapps, hot cocoa, and whipped cream was a tasty treat, although a bit more chocolate wouldn't have hurt. I've been here a few times, and I'd have to say that other than the beautiful decorations and the nice staff, there's nothing much that this place offers in terms of food, and you can get similar food for a lower price elsewhere. The drinks are okay, but not recommended if you happen to be non-alcoholic or is not a long-term fan of some of their drinks to the point of going back for them. Our favorite bar in NoMa. The mix of heated "indoor"/outdoor space makes it a great place for casual drinks any time of year. Food comes from a local food truck, and drinks get delivered right to where you're sitting in speedy fashion. Wunder Garten will continue being a regular stop for quite some time, I imagine.
