“Our typical go-to for a birthday cake when my wife doesn't make homemade, and they are excellent! And their Bunker Hills, which unfortunately only are offered 1-2 times a year, are to die for! Don't use the street parking unless you have to.“

“We have been customer of Pasteles Rojas since they opened near our home in Elsmere. Given their excellent choices we decided to use them for our wedding cake. We ended up doing a large tiered cake with different flavors, also purchased our favorite donuts filled with rice pudding. The bakery was very accommodating and easy to work with. “This Amish market is my first stop when I visit Delaware. I absolutely love this place. You can buy anything from donuts to dogs. I always get a sausage with peppers and onions. The sausage is made in house and just delectable. There is also a Mexican vendor and the tacos are out of this world. The donuts always hit the spot and the varieties are endless. Not to mention the cakes here, are to die for. It's like I'm on a shopping spree for food. I just can't help but to go crazy and get a little bit of everything. The food was great and the lady helping me was so kind in helping me choose the dishes to try.They had already packed away the food into the refrigerator when I stopped in 30 minutes before close time . The store employee took the time to take it out of the fridge and show me all the different dishes. I only knew pork adobo and asked the employee to recommend another dish. She recommended the beef caldereta.I ended up with the combo that cost $12.50, it included 2 dishes with rice. All the food looked and tasted delicious. There was a generous amount packed and the box was heavy.The employee asked how I found the restaurant and I told her I found it by googling Filipino restaurants nearby. There’s not a lot of options and it’s hard to tell what they sell without any website or google photos of the menu. She gave me a menu and I’ll definitely be back to try the other offerings!“
“I took myself to PureBread for a Veteran’s Day treat. It was just like I imagined, a nice place to eat/drink quality stuff while you work on your laptop or chat politely with someone. I went there for a breakfast sandwich to go. The nice high energy young man behind the counter talked me into a toasted and butter Banana Walnut muffin. I am glad he did. My bacon egg and cheese on a bagel was very tasty but more expensive than i like. The muffin was fantabulous!! Gotta splurge somewhere!!“
