The cake was amazing and there is something magical about their cream cheese frosting. The four stars are only because they are pricey. $5.50 is restaurant pricing. I know rent is high and labor isn't free. However, at that price, it will be an infrequent treat.“

“Such a cute little place with honestly some of the best sweets I've ever had. We got chocolate cupcakes, one of each available cookie and an apple turnover. The cupcakes are like clouds and the frosting is perfectly sweet. The turnover was soooo flakey and the filling was perfect. And the cookies were golden brown and just a little gooey inside. Sooooo good. Absolutely going back. My one piece of advice to anyone going, GET MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU NEED. You'll thank me later.“
“My wife and I had our wedding cake prepare by Kim and crew, and we were absolutely blown away.To give some more detail: I am a classically trained chef and this is the only bakery I have bought cake from since I discovered it three years ago. Their cakes are well flavored and always baked properly, and Kim puts taste over everything else. Everything is not only well prepared but the ratios of cake to frosting/filling is well thought out and pretty perfect.On top of all this the staff is friendly and has always come through for me, even when I've made difficult or last minute requests.“

“We have been customer of Pasteles Rojas since they opened near our home in Elsmere. Given their excellent choices we decided to use them for our wedding cake. We ended up doing a large tiered cake with different flavors, also purchased our favorite donuts filled with rice pudding. The bakery was very accommodating and easy to work with. “I took a chance and tried this restaurant on a random weekday. Man, it was a good decision. The food was great and the lady helping me was so kind in helping me choose the dishes to try.They had already packed away the food into the refrigerator when I stopped in 30 minutes before close time . The store employee took the time to take it out of the fridge and show me all the different dishes. I only knew pork adobo and asked the employee to recommend another dish. She recommended the beef caldereta.I ended up with the combo that cost $12.50, it included 2 dishes with rice. All the food looked and tasted delicious. There was a generous amount packed and the box was heavy.The employee asked how I found the restaurant and I told her I found it by googling Filipino restaurants nearby. There’s not a lot of options and it’s hard to tell what they sell without any website or google photos of the menu. She gave me a menu and I’ll definitely be back to try the other offerings!“

“Stopped in yesterday for pan de muerto, I have zero negative comments about it. The bread was perfectly delicious. I decided to get some for work, I asked if they could put em in the clear cake tray, and she made it clear it would be an extra $3. I said ok, it makes sense.. I also asked if they would put a sticker with the bakerys' name on it, I work with white people and wanted to make sure they knew where it came from. I paid for my order and walked away. I got home, checked my receipt, and realized I was charged $1 for that sticker. I would have never imagined one day I would pay to promote someone else's business. It is what it is, I guess. I'll take it as leaving tip?♀️“
“I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service in the optical department. I came in hoping that the ear piece could be reattached. The Optical Manager asked me to take a seat, and started to work on my glasses. Mystique not only reattached the earpiece, she made adjustments that fit my face again.
