“My wife and I went to Sovana on reccomend from the folks at Phillips Mushroom Farm. We are very glad we took did! From the semi-twin ladies opening the doors for us, to the fun atmosphere, to the great food. They compt' my wife's dessert 'cause it was her birthday and made a GREAT Bloody Mary! But even better than all of that was our server, Racquel T. She was fantastic! She was very friendly, made us feel right at home, was chatty but didn't waste time, she knew the menu very well, even though she said she was relatively new. “We had a wonderful experience working with Tess and OsoSweet Bakery! My friend and I ran the Tough Mudder held a few miles away, and thought it would be fun to celebrate our success with a sweet treat. We ordered 6 custom cupcakes (and two scones, because who doesn't love a scone?!) and got a prompt and lovely response from Tess - she even made two different frosting flavors for us since we couldn't choose On the day we were due to pick up our order, we were running late and Tess assured us we could come after closing to grab our sweets. Come to find that in addition to the TM decoration we'd asked for, she also decorated some of our cupcakes with the TM logo to differentiate between the frosting flavors. And the scones are huge! Everything was delicious and the perfect way to end our race. Plus the shop is ADORABLE! We were sad we didn't have more time to visit and hang out there! Thank you again, Tess!“

“Met a group of friends here, and all raved about how good the food was! Coffee was also excellent and the barista tweaked it just to my liking.My only complaint—the digital menu’s font is tiny! Better to read the menu online on your phone.Parking: I always park at the Kennett square garage. Easy to access downtown, clean, and safe.“

“Without posting a long drawn out review, Philter makes the best espresso drinks around, hands down. The owner Chris and his team are always friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. It’s rare to see a coffee shop that will take the time to ensure they’re pulling properly dialed in shots. Order a cortado, a double shot, a pour over or whatever you want… whoever you choose it’ll be great!“

“Super cute local UD coffee spot off main st. I stopped by on their anniversary day and got a latte. I wanted to love it but my latte was more milk than espresso. I plan on trying them again as they have gluten free pastries which I LOVED. If you need a quick pit stop for coffee this is your place!“

“My wife and I had our wedding cake prepare by Kim and crew, and we were absolutely blown away.To give some more detail: I am a classically trained chef and this is the only bakery I have bought cake from since I discovered it three years ago. Their cakes are well flavored and always baked properly, and Kim puts taste over everything else. Everything is not only well prepared but the ratios of cake to frosting/filling is well thought out and pretty perfect.On top of all this the staff is friendly and has always come through for me, even when I've made difficult or last minute requests.“

“I visited homegrown with my boyfriend, it’s one of our favorites, the fries and chips are always great and I love their burgers. However, they are a bit pricey but most of their food is amazing. I usually always get the dirty burger which is to die for, if you do plan on getting that, go on an empty stomach.“

“Clean bathrooms, lots of parking, friendly staff and great sandwiches. Though the beer salad only had three small beets.Portions are smaller but the quality is good.Why mention the bathroom's first? If the kitchen was as clean as the bathrooms, it's a very hygienic, tidy, safe environment.“

“Stopped in for lunch and we're so glad we did. Everything on the menu sounded amazing, we got the Barbie Fries, Philly Mac and Buffalo Chicken Mac. Holy sh*t it was good. Service was amazing. Devin was taking care of us but all of the staff stopped at the table to make sure we were doing well and were super kind. Super cool set-up inside and a very laid-back vibe. “Our server Zoe was great, she was friendly and patient while we decided, because everything on the menu sounded good and we couldn't choose! The food was excellent, highly recommend trying the zucchini fries for a starter. We did not have to wait for a table and were seated and attended to quickly despite it starting to get busier. “I took myself to PureBread for a Veteran’s Day treat. It was just like I imagined, a nice place to eat/drink quality stuff while you work on your laptop or chat politely with someone. I went there for a breakfast sandwich to go. The nice high energy young man behind the counter talked me into a toasted and butter Banana Walnut muffin. I am glad he did. My bacon egg and cheese on a bagel was very tasty but more expensive than i like. The muffin was fantabulous!! Gotta splurge somewhere!!“

“Good calamari. Lunch combo is great for the money!! Our only comment is the Brio Pasta was, well, bland. Needed garlic or something. There were plenty of mushrooms, peppers, chicken. Added salt and still... Meh. Probably would be great after a day. Haha. Lasagna was very tasty! Perfect portion sizes since salad or soup came with it! Will return and try the Flatbread.“

“Small caesar salad with grilled chicken was great as always as was the fresh brewed coffee. One thing on the “Pick Two” offerings: our other choice was a soup with the CA turkey club but with no tomato or avocado on the sandwich. The chef told the server to tell us that it had to be made as the menu described because when the other half of the sandwich was served to another diner, it would be ready to go. This made no sense to me. That remaining half sandwich can only be left for a certain period of time before it is thrown out. That’s potential waste. Meanwhile, we got a sandwich not made as we wished and had to remove the tomato and scrape off the avocado. More waste. Would it have been better all around to use one slice of bread cut in half for the “Pick Two” offerings and, in this case, sans tomato and avocado, keeping the customer happy with no waste at all? Just a thought. Sorry for the longwindedness. 2SP is our Friday lunch go-to place and this was disappointing.“

“On Feb.14, 2024, We called for a "large plain pizza"(takeout). It's been a long time since we ordered from Grotto because of a noticeable decline in taste, etc. This purchase was like the Grotto pizza of old, the original "Legendary flavor". Thank you (DP) for re-establishing the best pizza even, the way it was when you 1st opened in Rehoboth. I hope all the locations are onboard.. Also, on the 14th, it was 9:30 pm. but the staff were friendly and courteous!“

“Was staying at a nearby hotel and saw this place on Google Maps. So glad i stopped in! It's a Ukranian Bakery with tons of homemade delicious pastries, pies, and sandwiches! I wanted a bunch of things, but went with a Peach turnover and chicken salad sammich. Coffee good too :)“

“On this particular night, because I can't speak for any other time, EVERTHING was excellent. I had the aged ribeye medium well and it was nothing short of amazing. The bread and the smoked wings were over the top. Whomever was in the kitchen on 4/27/24 sound 7:45-8pm is unmatched. The way the food was seasoned I just can't explain. The grilled salmon and shrimp was perfectly prepared. The service we received both at the bar and table was above par. I commend them both! The ambiance was equal to the food and service. I highly recommend this establishment.“
