“We are new to Bethany, and was told to check this spot out. For lower slower DE this place has its act together. Great food, great service, great vibe with live music. Management and their staff are really doing a great job. Cant wait to come back.Dietary restrictions: Some great Gluten Free options.“
“Stopped here for a quick lunch and really enjoyed the food. From a tasty cod sandwich, delicious chicken tenders and awesome crab cakes, all was very good. We definitely will return. You have to try the dirty sodas. We even picked up a slice of Smith Island Cake to enjoy later.“
“We've been to One Coastal numerous times, and we have always had an outstanding experience. Amazing leek and potato soup, incredible catfish fried in cornmeal, and a tasty bavette steak with trumpet mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, and a delicious Bordelei sauce. Don't miss the desserts, they are once in a lifetime and so creative.“
“The best crab cakes I have ever had! No filler, all lump crab meat, and perfectly seasoned all throughout. Owners truly care about the quality of their food and take pride in excellent service. I would give a higher rating if I could. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!“
“We were here during bike week. We had 10 people at the house and everyone had a craving for a boil. The young folks at the steamers and counter were awesome, not the typical millennials. They were professional and fun to talk with. The wait was only a short bit and off to home. Everyone said it may have been the best meal the entire trip. We have a home a few miles away and We will be back. Best Pot on the Beach!“
“My daughter and I went to Blue Coast Bethany as part of a girls weekend trip. It’s was absolutely FANTASTIC. The oysters were delicious and some of the freshest we’ve ever had. I had the seafood stew which had such a rich, and savory broth which highlighted the fish. My daughter had the crab cakes which were easily the best we’ve ever had. They had no fillers, all crab. Last, I cannot remember the last time we had a dinner in which the staff was not subtly nudging us to leave to turn the table over. It was a great experience, which we will not forget.“
“Ordered takeout here on a rainy Wednesday. Online ordering was straightforward and pick up was convenient (reserved spot right in front and a pick up window on the deck). Food was good, but nothing spectacular imo. The greens were my favorite part of the meal. Mac and cheese could have used some more flavor. I would try again dining in because sometimes that's a better experience.“
“What an outstanding find! Having recently relocated to the area we are searching out our new favorite haunts. Have already returned twice, both times lucky to find seats at the busy bar. DiFebo's Caesar salad and chicken parm are among the very best I've had ANYWHERE, not just DE. They serve only house made pasta and bread to boot and one of the few spots in the area I've found that even offer espresso drinks so the cappuccinos being perfection was a joyful bonus. Top marks too for staff who were friendly helpful and attentive despite the full house to keep happy. Many more visits to come!Parking: Small lot that fills up quickly due to restaurant's popularity“
“We had dinner for four on a Thursday evening. The crabcake dinners, fried oyster dinner, and the buttermilk fried shrimp dinner were delicious. Our appetizer of calamari hit the spot. Our only complaint was the cream of crab soup did not have enough crabmeat in it so it was bland.“
“We had a great meal here on our first visit. We tried a number of appetizers which everyone enjoyed. Heard a few say the crab soup was the best they ever had. The entrees were no exception. We were too full for dessert, but they also looked great. They have a lot of Big Oyster beers as well as a decent bourbon offering (much of whisky row even). The service was exceptional. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We felt appreciated for stopping in. We will return.“
“It is odd that I'm going to review a place after stopping in for a $19 fish specials, but I am. I've eaten here a dozen times, and it is always fantastic. It is out of the area for me, and I forget about it sometimes. My father wanted good fish and we ended up here. It was not an ideal table for a server; we ate early (they are in their 80's) we ordered no apps, no booze, no dessert! We all got the fish board special, and the server was great! She did a great job and was just a great server. I had Monkfish and it was a) big b) really well cooked c) a nice fish to start with. The set up was fantastic with potatoes, beets snd greens. At $34 I would have been happy, at $19 I'll be back! The Mahi was great and Dad loved his Monkfish! Thanks“
“My husband and I celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary at this restaurant last night and it was perfect! The food was awesome, atmosphere great and our server did a perfect job of serving us. This was our second visit and we look forward to a return visit when we come back to the beach.“
“Very nice seafood joint on the bay. Added some outdoor seating if you want to eat al fresco. Order food at the counter and get called when it's ready. Service has always been prompt and friendly even during the busy summer season. Prices are reasonable.“
“We have been coming to ocean city for over 50 years and this meal was one of the best. We started with scallop appetizer which was incredible. For our meals we had the crab cakes and lobster Shepards pie and both meals were amazing. We ate every bit. We rarely get dessert and decided to indulge. We had the key like cheesecake and cobbler with ice cream and was so glad we did. Everything we had was perfect. We will be back.“
“A cool place. Basic bar fare. Crowded and noisy, but that's to be expected. I was here in November, I can't imagine the crowd in the summer.I'm always impressed when the servers do a great job under stressful conditions, and they did a great job. I ordered a simple burger and fries. Fries were decent. Burger was great! Cooked perfect and delicious.“
“Came here for my 44th birthday and really enjoyed it. The portions were huge, great value. We started with the crab dip, which was big enough for 4. It had huge chunks of crab. The pretzel sticks weren’t the easiest to navigate with the dip but were themselves good. I had the house special potato crusted salmon. My dad had the prime rib. We both were happy. There was no room left for dessert unfortunately. Decent wine selection but beer options were limited. Would definitely recommend, especially when their outdoor patio is open.“
“We love Porto Pizza and Grill restaurant. The food is always good and service is always great. Their crab cakes are delicious, they use lots of crab meat and not much fillers. We frequent this lovely neighborhood restaurant at least once a week. If you don't like something, give them a heads up, they will always try to make you happy (sometimes there are people that just can't be pleased) . The owners are extremely caring and the waitstaff is awesome!“

“Excellent “beachy” atmosphere, bright and airy. Dropped in for a lazy Easter afternoon lunch and was delighted with the menu and cocktail choices. We had the tuna sashimi, bacon/celery/carrot potato soup, and fried oyster dish. Cocktails, the Peartini and the Salty Dog, were uniformly excellent, if a bit sweet on their bespoke Matt’s Mai Tai. A delight that we’ll revisit. ;-)“
“Came during the off-season looking for a good meal. We came for lunch and everything was amazing. The food came out so fast and was delicious. Our server James was super attentive and helpful. A must-stop, especially during the off-season when it’s calmer.“
“I had a good experience at DB fries, the food was good, the fries were yummy, we got our food quick + it was pretty affordable! Me and my friends went to DB fries around 4pm on a Tuesday. There was no wait and our food came out pretty quickly. We had previously went around 8:30 pm and they were out of everything... make sure you go early! I got the crab cake sandwich and it was pretty delicious! It came with lettuce and tartar sauce. I'd happily get this again. I really liked the vibe of the place, the walk up and order concept was cool to see so close to the beach Overall, great experience“
“The lobster, crabmeat and mussels are very refreshing and delicious that my husband ordered the mussels twice. We've been there for lunch, but we know that the view at sunset time would be very gorgeous! They have only one server, maybe because of the holidays, but she's very attentive and helpful.“
“This is our go-to spot for AYE crabs, crab soup, shrimp, crabcakes, oysters, clams in Ocean City, Maryland. The owner/waterman catches his product and sells it in his own restaurant in the Fenwick Island shopping center. Been several times when ever we get to the beach and never disappointed. Keep-up the good work Captain.“
“There is a group of us who have turned dinner into a yearly event each spring & can’t wait till 5/17/2024 when we arrive for dinner. We camp at DE Seashore St Pk. Always a superb meal at the BEST the BEACH has to offer.Only wish we could make reservations but we understand & we’ll still have the best there is. ?Parking: Plenty space room toKid-friendliness: N/AWheelchair accessibility: N/A“
“We’ve ordered from Topsail Steamer in Bethany Beach several times over the past year and each time the meal has been outstanding. The seafood is super fresh and really easy to prepare using the included cooking instructions. The staff is very friendly and will review the instructions with you if you’ve never prepared a seafood boil before. We’ve recommended this place to several friends and they’ve all been impressed, as well. Highly recommended!!“
“On the last two Sundays,Chef Gio made some Delicious entrees!!! The Meatloaf and mashed potatoes were Spectacular!!! The Pastrami Reuben was also Spectacular!! Like a fancy restaurant in presentation and every bite was Delicious!!! It's definitely my new favorite off season Sunday afternoon place. There's also music ?“
“We go to Yellowfin's often for the great food and service but this evening was particularly outstanding. It was Easter Sunday. We came in at 5:40 and was told that they would be closing at 6 because of the holiday. Our server, Reagan was so gracious. We were willing to leave but she explained that they weren't taking new customers after 6 but it was perfectly fine that we ordered before then. The meal was excellent and she was so attentive. We felt very welcomed and not rushed at all. She is an asset to the business. We hope to see her again soon. Thank you, Reagan! Happy Easter to the whole staff.“
“This review was based on an off season visit for a cheer competition (Feb 25 2024). That being said, these were the best wings I had in the 3 days I was here, hands down.We visited 2 other well known pubs during our visit. 1st was Shotti's. The wings were good (k59 thai chili), but the fries were very dark, borderline burnt and we didn't care for them. That isn't a dig on Shotti's, but that's the second time we've been there and I don't think we'll be back.2nd was pickle pub. Staff was great, drinks were cheap, but food was so-so. Wings were also middle of the road (again Thai chili). The cheesesteak egg rolls were above average though. But Bourbon street's wings took the cake. This time Sriracha Lime, they were perfectly crispy outside and juicy inside without being underdone and still having good texture. My only complaint? No celery. Their fries are also great if not a little slaty.I'll come back to Bourbon St as I'll likely stay at the Holiday Inn Express attached to it, and I'll make sure to update any reviews associated ?“
“My dad and sister got the crab cakes. They both said the cakes were very dense and had almost no filler, just crab meat. My mom had the cream of crab soup and she loved it. I had a shrimp po boy sub and corn on the cob. My shrimp was plump and the sause was tasty. The corn on the cob was perfect.“
“It was delicious, large portions, the salads are meal size. Service was great, the host even pulled my chair out for me to be seated. They did mess up by bringing the crab cake meal instead of sandwich but only charged us for the sandwich after we brought it to their attention. I would definitely go back.“
“Went and got the Crab legs, Clams, Shrimp combo today... It was the most juicy sweet amazing seafood ever.. This place is a low key gem. I'm literally going back tonight for another pound of each. Side bar the prices are absolutely AMAZING for the value.“
“Another wonderful meal at Parkway! This is far and away our favorite Resteraunt in Bethany. We usually sit at the bar with a lot other locals where Todor and Vic always provide us with great service and drinks. Last night I had the lamb chops which were perfect and my wife fell back to her favorite, the squid appetizer as her dinner. Never a disappointment! I hesitate to tell how good this place is because I don't want to ruin it for us regulars. Stay away!“
“Big Fish is awesome! The food is great. The Salmon is made perfectly with the right amount of sauce and the fries are perfect. I have been coming to this place for a really long time, as every summer i stay at my grandparent's beach house in Bethany Beach. I was so glad when they built a location in Ocean View because it's much closer to us. It also holds a special place in my heart as one of the last times I ate there was my grandfather's last meal at a restaurant before passing away in late April 2023. We went with him along with some of our other relatives during Easter Weekend of 2023. We were seated in a private room on the first floor and it was perfect. A Hopkins Lacrosse game was playing on the tv and it wasn't as loud so my grandpa could hear us.Which was great since he had hearing issues. He ordered everything on the menu pretty much from appetizers, to meals, to dessert, to drinks (starting before we even got menus) and it was delicious. Thank you Big Fish for making his last meal out so special.“
“Unpretentious but don't overlook Layton's. Server Amy was on top of every aspect of our breakfast. Our group enjoyed scrapple, which isn't that common on menus anymore and don't miss the chipped beef. Prompt refills of coffee with creamers on the table and we were set for our morning on the boardwalk.“
“The whole idea of the place is great. The atmosphere is very cool and well thought out. The food.. yuck. I ordered the Mediterranean bread and had to force it down. The prizes are definitely better than other arcades and my kid had a good time. Conclusion: go there to play, not to eat.“
“Delicious pho in OC! Extremely authentic, quick service, and run by a couple. I noticed that the reviews in the last months complained of portions, and water taste etc., however the owner has taken feedback from reviewers and has positively changed to improve in quality AND quantity (water tasted great, and portions improved from what I saw in previous photos). It was my first time here with 3 others, but I will definitely be back when I am here in the summer again! Highly recommend from me and my southeast asian friends. :) Support this family owned business, they were so generous and quick with service despite being a 2 man team.“
“TL/DR - a great place to get snow and blue crab. Staff are fantastic, parking is good, and the food is greatStopped here from a recommendation of a local, and we were not disappointed! There is plenty of parking, seating inside and outside. The menu is simple, but I didn't make it past the "All you can eat" snow crab.A good selection of drinks on the menu as well. This is a place that I would detour to on future road trips!“
“Have been a long term customer and will continue to be! During the week of 9/18/23 my family enjoyed 2 dinners from Rippons. 1st.dinner my wife ordered Crab cakes & I had the Softshell Crab sandwhich, BOTH were OUTSTANDING!!! 2nd. dinner we enjoyed fried oysters and 1 DZ. Med. Large Crabs. BOTH were OUTSTANDING!!! RIPPONS is the place for FRESH SEAFOOD & GREAT SERVICE!!!!“
“A Hidden Gem !!!We Love the pick & peel Steamed shrimp !? !!Cooked to perfectly & just the right amount of Old Bay!!! ?The people that work here are really nice too!We even got a $50 gift card for a friend who lives in Bethany & Also loves this place for the crabs ?“
“We dined at Nori's Sushi Place on New Year's Eve and had an amazing meal. The sushi rolls and sashimi were incredibly fresh and expertly made. We tried the spicy tuna, salmon avocado and specialty maki rolls - so many wonderful flavors! In addition to the excellent sushi, the service really impressed us. Despite the busy holiday night, our server was attentive, prompt and happy to offer recommendations.Nori's brought together delicious fresh sushi, a lively atmosphere and stellar service for a fantastic New Year's Eve dinner. We highly recommend it for sushi lovers looking for a great dining experience. We'll definitely be back soon!“
“If you are in the area of Fenwick, De. check this place out, you won't be disappointed. My colleague had the battery rockfish, which he said was amazing and perfectly cooked.I had the cowboy burger and it was one of the best I've had in a long time. Perfectly cooked to order, fresh and french fries were so delectable. The service was from our bartender was great, she was doing so much with taking care of tables and tending bar, but I never felt like I was overlooked.“
“It was really good. Had live music and a great atmosphere. I personally had the plain Jain burger and fries and it was amazing. Best fries I have had in a very long time, nice and seasoned. I tried some fish from my aunt, and it was really good as well. Would def go again.“
“Such a laid back place. We ate in the bar.Wait staff were very attentive. Each helping the other with their tables. Efficient and cleaned up quickly when a glass hit the floor. The food was delicious. We had two orders of oysters, not a bad one in the bunch.Old Bay wings were perfect. A friend and I shared the Beet salad and he had the oyster stew, he couldn't say enough good things. Whole oysters and delicious creamy. We had several dirty martinis, and Diversion IPAs. There was one autumn margarita but none of us really enjoyed it. That is a preference thing, if you like sweeter and cinnamon, that could be your drink.Highly recommend Fins, it was off season and seemed like a neighborhood bar.“
“We went on an off-season Friday evening and enjoyed the tasty raw Chincoteague oysters (there were a couple of other options, but we chose the most local) and the steamer combo: steamed shrimp, clams, mussels, and oysters. I had a couple of Big Oyster beers, and the wife had cocktails. Large space with plenty of seating and an extraordinarily long bar.“
“Went on two different occasions - once for lunch and later that week for dinner with a group of 8. Lunch food and service was excellent; dinner was slower and the waiter far less attentive. But the food was still absolutely excellent. Will return next time I'm in the area.Dietary restrictions: We had a family member with a pork allergy, and they were very accommodating and answered all her questions.Kid-friendliness: Kid's menu items are fine, but it's probably not somewhere I'd take the kids again.“
“We had the large classic crab cake, so delicious. It was all crab, best I ever had. We also had the waygu brisket, tender and seasoned perfect with a touch of BBQ sauce. We also had the waygu steak kebab, so good. French fries are fresh cut home made and the chips are as well. Great service, def will go back! I wish i liked bloody Mary's, they looked in incredible.“
“My husband and I went out for a date while at the beach and we stumbled on this gem! It had a great atmosphere! Richelle was our server and she was great. Friendly and attentive. She had many tables and juggled them all well! The bacon cheese fries were some of the best I’ve ever had! I had the salmon and my husband had the fried oysters… both were delicious! The bread pudding for dessert was a great ending!!“
“I always feel welcome from the moment I walk in the door. The shrimp tacos are to die for!!!! If you can splurge definitely go for the lobster Mac n cheese!!!! I recommend this place to everyone I know here and anyone I know who's visiting. I came in on a night where Owen, Miranda, Chris, Josie and Steph were working. They were all absolutely fantastic and all wore a smile. Super welcoming!“
“If it weren't for the misguided "thin blue line" flag above the restaurant, this place would be perfect while in town. I know, it's a political rabbit hole, and a bit of hypocrisy after Jan. 6th, but I'll leave all of that to the owners. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and amazing! The food is terrific and the margaritas are as bragged about: the best. This is a place worth visiting!Vegetarian options: It's tex-mex; there are always vegetarian options. Just be kind and they will be too.Parking: Some limited parking in the front and more along the side street.Kid-friendliness: Kid menus and good music. Bring coloring books and non-tablet activities if needed.“
“My fiance and I (finally) got the chance to eat dinner at Melissa's. The food was delicious! We got specials all around... a trout dip for an appetizer and for entrees Salmon/Swordfish Fish Cakes and Lobster Ravioli. Normally I shy away from ordering ravioli out because I never feel like you get enough food. The portions were great and we left stuffed! Which was a shame since we didn't have any room to try dessert. :) Our service was also amazing -- it was a Monday night in the off season (so they had one waitress manning the whole place), but we never felt like we had to wait to get her attention. I'd highly recommend for a nice date night!“
