“The wife and I were on our way to the Silver Springs, MD, from dirty Jerz to visit the outlaws???lol. When we decided to make a stop for breakfast. A quick Google search turned up the metro diner. So off we went. It's a cute place that seems to get pretty busy. The wife ordered the veggies omelet, I ordered the chicken and grits, and two pieces of fried chicken, which I totally enjoyed. My wife also enjoyed what I ordered. This was obvious by the way she pinched off my plate. Also, Joe, the owner, stopped by every table to introduce himself and to see how things were going with the food and service. I felt this was a very nice touch.“
“Haven't had the chance to sit and dine yet, but bought a few cups of coffee ☕ and got a egg and sausage muffin to go. Food was good, Coffee was good, the price was reasonable. Grabbed a Menu to take Home, Lots of different food choices and reasonable prices, haven't had any but I will soon. ?Kid-friendliness: High chairs for infants, and a kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Has an access ramp“
“Really great service, awesome salad bar, all the food was amazing and came out very quick, the servers were very nice and were able to handle our big party and we loved all the food. Will be coming frequently and it is definitely the best diner in town!“
“I'm pretty obsessed with this place. The hours are a little hit and miss in the AM, but if you show up after 7:30 they're sure to be open. The food is excellent and the prices are exactly what you expect from a diner like this. The servers are all nice and they obviously have a lot of regulars, so they keep it light and joke around a lot. Make it feel like home away from home even if you're not one of them.“
“Haven't been there for awhile but very very good. Service excellent, food hot and fresh. We had chicken parmigiano, broiled stuffed flounder and liver at our table. Everyone raved about their meals. We'll go back. Just there for breakfast, blueberry hot cakes hot, hugh and so good. Shorthandedbut service was still great.Updat: Had breakfast today, place was packed but service great, food hot and delicious. Still staying very busy and seem to have more staff. Minor issue, dinner came too soon after we got our salads.“

“Very good food with decent portions at a reasonable price. The dacor is sedate but comfortable. The only draw back for me was the service was slow. However, the staff were very friendly when they did come around. Not bad if you are taking a leisurely meal.“
“I thought the food was average diner food so I give Bear diner 3/5 stars for that but the staff was so friendly and helpful which I upgrade the overall to 4/5 stars for that. I ordered take out and had to wait only a couple minutes but in that time the cashier came over to let me know the food was being prepared and 2 of the wait staff came over to check on me and say hello to make sure I wasn't waiting to be seated. My food was all packed up and the cashier even offered to carry it out for me because he could see my hands were full with my toddler. Great service! I will definitely be coming back!“
“This place is traditional at its core but cascades a layer of new and sensational flavor that changes the game in such a way that the game can no longer be played the same again. The staff are gorgeous souls and treat you like you are the most golden chicken tender in the box.“
“We come here often and I don’t think we’ve been to a better breakfast spot around Northern DE. Food is high quality, servings are huge and service has always been on point. If you have young children that love cars, I highly recommend visiting on a weekend when the garage is open. The gentleman that runs the garage is extremely nice and accommodating. Always a great experience.“
“Let me start with Amazing Service. Greeted quickly and served right away. Also love the remodel. I will be honest before the remodel I didn't feel comfortable. But now it's clean smells clean. It's now nice and bright and feels refreshing. ✨️ definitely doing to be coming back. Good food and great service is hard to fine! Keep up the amazing work ?“
“My son wanted a burger and I figured this diner would have one, they did and it was great! Service was excellent, and the prices were very fair. I had the Greek salad and it was delicious, especially the dressing.Kid-friendliness: Many kid's options“
“My first experience was online and I was impressed by the quality of the food for what I paid. My second visit was no disappointment. I was just passing by (hungry) and decided to stop. They have a full menu and so far everything has been delicious. I was on the phone when I was leaving with my order, but the manager (owner?) made it a point to greet me and thank me for coming. I’m really happy to find this place. I know I will keep coming back for som good fairly priced num nums.“
“I only ordered take-out, but the dining room looked like a nice place to eat. Plenty of parking here and it’s located right in the middle of Route 202, so you can stop in on the way to or from anywhere. The staff seemed really chill and the chef in the back added everything I asked for on my fries with no problem, which usually can be a hassle at other places. I highly recommend loaded fries if you’re looking for comfort food.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible at both entrances!“
“Everything on the menu was delicious and I've been going there for years! Maybe it was a new waitress... she seemed a little hairied and flustered and kept apologizing profusely! Honestly.... I don't know about her but I'm starting to feel embarrassed with all the apology. Yet still I believe I left the appropriate tip... a lot of times I tip a little higher, but the profuse and profound apology got to me! Be an adult about your service and not gush like a girl!“
