“Let me tell you, I am a bit of an açaí bowl snob, so when I say this is one of, if not, THE best açaí bowl I’ve ever had, you best believe me and run to get yours! I was delighted to have found this gem on my summer trip to the beach this year. The açaí is sweet and delicious. The fruit is super fresh and they do not hold back; they pack on the strawberries and other toppings generously, and the complementary water is a nice touch. And the fact that this is a small, family owned business and not a chain, makes it that much better. If you’re in Rehoboth Beach, go get your bowl. You will not regret it.”

“Although literally just steps off of Wilmington Avenue, with its entrance on 1st Street, this place is somehow a bit hidden, making it all the more of a gem. A casual and fun environment (I mean the men's room walls are covered in Bruce Lee posters!) with a really lively and inviting staff, is complemented by some truly amazing Italian cuisine. Everyone raves about their pizzas, but there's also meatball, soup, a pair of salads and a pair of pastas that isn't to be missed. The Cacio e Pepe may be the best in class, and I've sampled plenty. I'll definitely be adding this to my "must eat at" list when in Rehoboth!”

“Husband and I had a wonderful dinner celebrating our birthdays at Shorebreak Lodge Restaurant this weekend. The restaurant decor is sophisticated and the seating is super comfortable. The owners Ben and Diane go over and above to make sure that you are comfortable and happy. Their craft cocktails are the best! Always wanted to try octopus and this dish did not disappoint. Everything from appetizers to dinner was so delicious. Everyone we have recommended the restaurant to has gone there for dinner and they always tell us how great their experience was. We believe this restaurant to be one of the best restaurants in Sussex County Delaware. We highly recommend.”

The service from everyone was impeccable from the moment we walked in sans resy and you somehow conjured us a table on the patio; your food (from the bread and fritters to appetizers to mains) was absolutely top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect. Our server, Bengi, took the time to answer our questions about “Just what is in that incredible dressing?!” (Cherry vinegar) and “what is this yellow strip of crunchy deliciousness I’m currently enjoying?” (pickled fennel). Also, I don’t know what you put in the glorious house-made chocolates, but I do know that I could eat them every day for the rest of my life. Thank you again!!”

“My son has Celiac disease and is a picky eater. We asked our waiter (who was excellent!) about ordering the shrimp skewers that could be added to the salad. He immediately said that they take allergies seriously and that a manager would be right over. The manager came to the table and asked about the allergy and what we were thinking of ordering and also offered all the other options that were gluten free. He explained how my son’s meal would be marked and handled and was fantastic. Our meals were wonderful and in 3 years of my son having celiac we have never experienced this level of genuine concern for his specific allergy and ensuring we knew how they would prepare his food. Bravo to exceptional customer service and food allergy awareness! Highly recommend for the food and the procedures they have when it comes to food allergies.”

“Consistently delicious every time we dine here! Occasionally the service can be a bit slow depending on how full the restaurant is, however it’s well paced and the wait staff is professional and kind. The tuna app is phenomenal! Perfect crunch from the crispy rice and the flavor is explosive! We also love the dumplings and pork belly bao buns! Crab rangoons are great but you only get 4. The ambience alone transcends you and you forget you’re in DE! Every time we’re here we visit!”

“Stopped here with my family of 5 for lunch. The fruit and vegetables were not only fresh but large and delicious. We had a variety of salads and sandwiches. My daughter also had the smoked salmon platter which was simply amazing. The fruit parfait was large enough to be a meal itself and the fruit was so fresh. The tomatoes in the sandwiches were fresh and juicy. The manager/owner gave us some cookies for our wait time. We will definitely be back before we our trip is done.”
