Metro Cafe is a very standard in-hotel restaurant. Food and drinks are on par with what you'd find at Chilies or a similar type of restaurant with bar and TV. Service was very friendly and accommodating, and that's always appreciated when traveling for work.My main complaint would be the building and decore. This renovated hotel, rebranded several times, is not deluxe, but is comfortable and convenient to downtown Wilmington. Mostly business clientele during the week so the rooms are well equipped in terms of wifi, connections, and other first world tech amenities. Much better than your standard hotel restaurant. I had Glenlivet neat and my wife had white wine...both very good with generous pours. The wedge salad was fresh and perfectly put together and the shrimp was very tasty. The grilled chicken quesadilla was well seasoned and very flavorful. Onion rings were top shelf. The service was prompt and friendly. Overall, a great dining experience!
