Far and away the best coffee shop in Delaware! They make their own latte flavors (no big containers of syrups with artificial flavoring), have scratch-made pastries that change daily, and delicious breakfast sandwiches (and lunch sandwiches too!).This place is also super kid-friendly. They have a bookshelf with kids books, coloring books and crayons, and a few simple toys.Sleeping Bird is our favorite place!
Just passing through on a road trip and we were so blown away by the food! Perfectly warmed bread, high quality ingredients, and despite my hesitation, an avocado toast that rocked my socks and is absolutely worth the 10 bucks. Coffee is great and they have fun special drinks besides. Staff were super friendly and the vibe is great! Wish we lived nearby so we could visit more often.

Tremendous food and coffee. They’ve got breakfast sandwiches and doughnuts at certain times. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy. Only complaint is they have iced coffee but no cold brew.
