Codfathers has an old brick and wood interior which is pleasant, as well as an outside deck. The service was excellent; however, the food, for a vegetarian, was almost non-existent! Of course it is a fish restaurant and the rest of the family enjoyed their blackened fish sandwiches. The salad was good though a little pricey but other than one salad, vegetarians could only choose side dishes, including baked potato, broccoli, rice, etc.We weren't there for the weekend entertainment...read full review
We ordered dinner to go. We had the cheeseburger with onion rings and the chicken sandwich with fries. The burger was huge and delicious. So were the onion rings. You can tell they are made in house. The chicken sandwich was really fresh fried chicken and not a formed patty. The price was very reasonable at $11 per sandwich. We've also had their chicken wings and they are amazing! We will be back for more!

Great little gem you would never expect in Alachua. Prices were a little high but what isn't these days. Scallops and onion rongs were amazing and wife raved about the cheese grits. Waitresses were awesome and so nice. There is patio seating but was windy so maybe next time will sit outside.
