“This is not a cuban restaurant, the owner is from Venezuela, they don't even serve tortilla cubana (cuban omelet), food is ok but never like cuban food, I'm sorry is my opinion.”

“This place is a vibe! There was live music, which was a little too loud, but it was nice to listen to after ordering and getting comfortable. We aren't big beer people, so we got a flight and asked for a few recommendations for the beer tender. He was super patient, helpful, attentive, and nice. They didn't have too many food options but there was a food truck outside. We ended up getting pita and crackers with hummus and a buffalo chicken dip, which was on the brewery's menu! It was really good, and a perfect side for the beer.”

“I come here several times a year for their liver and onions. It is the absolute best I’ve had in my entire life. I do not order their sides. I only get the liver and I get extra onions as a side. The service is always fabulous. The young lady who waited on me turn 21 today. It’s so cute that the restaurant fuss over there employees like this. Their prices are very competitive and whether or not you like onions and liver, I would recommend Conestogas.”

“Great little gem you would never expect in Alachua. Prices were a little high but what isn't these days. Scallops and onion rongs were amazing and wife raved about the cheese grits. Waitresses were awesome and so nice. There is patio seating but was windy so maybe next time will sit outside.”

“Bev's is a local Alachua fave of mine. Quick service and pretty good food. Conveniently located along main street and close to a park and basketball/tennis courts for the kids.”

“I literally had to stop driving to post this.Y’all.Subway in Subway Alachua is literally killing the game right now. Line was out the door 20-30 people and I was in and out in less then ten min with hot fresh food, amazing service, well put together sub, their store was clean as a whistle and so was their counters for prepping. 4-5 people working their absolute hardest together United as one team. I am impressed. Best experience at subway by far. I hope their superior knows how blessed they are for these team members.”

“When I tell you, I left here full as a tick, I mean it. Fried chicken, collard green, the Cole slaw… oh my gosh the Cole slawwww… The gentleman with a red beard was absolutely amazing. He was very tentative to everyone in the room. Brought drinks before we needed, was there waiting with to go cups, just amazing service. “Dennis is super friendly, fast, and helpful.and he deserves to be acknowledged for all of his hard work. I would suggest that the owners and management have at least two people during the busy lunch hours. Even if it’s only from 11am-3pm, I think that would make a huge difference.”
