“Circles is our go to Restaurant in Apollo Beach. The salmon is something of legend. We have tried to recreate it at home several times in failure. Not sure what they do but its soo good. Their wings are pretty good and Grouper is delish. Drinks are pretty weak so if your dining in, be sure to stop by the bar and chat up your bartender. Outside ambiance is spectacular for Sunsets.Parking: Parking fills up quick on for dinner and on weekends. Can be a challenge to find a spot but they keep the flow of customers going in and out so you wont have to wait too long.“
“We go to JJ's often. Christina makes everyone feel welcome. We are so lucky to have a cool spot nearby. Nearly everyone knows us there but in case you're not a regular, c'mon by anyway. We welcome NEW PEOPLE! Food is mostly typical but the meatballs Christina makes sell out a lot! Worth it! John & Rhonda are fun bar owners. They have brought the place up by it's boot straps. Local hang, but fun to try out! They get unexpected crowds sometimes for games or karaoke. Bar staff and servers are always pleasant. We love it!“
“Staying in Tampa nearby, decided to get Thai food. Everything was prepared quick and the portion sizes were very generous. Prices are pretty good for the size too.First off, Pad Thai had a lot of flavor with the tamarind tanginess and sweetness shining through. Loved the Crab Fried Rice. It was spicy but not overpowering and the crab itself was definitely real. Helpful guest experience and from someone that is part Thai the ambience and food when I went in the evening made me feel kinda like being back home.“

It’s a food truck so you get your food and you can take it home.The only complaint is, I purchased the meat madness special and two additional sides. “Found this place 4 years ago when myself and my husband bought a house. We stopped by one afternoon and have been going here a few times a week ever since. Wonderful, down to earth people from all walks of life. I've made several friends here in the 4 years since we found it. Kate is one of the most amazing people with an amazing family. She is truly compassionate about her customers, accommodating, funny, sweet, hard working, loving and puts everything she has into everything she does. Her husband Larry is equally amazing. Small Jeep event going on today so we popped in to show our Jeep support.Had a round of brews and some spinach & artichoke dip for a snack.Spinach & Artichoke dip wasn't anything to really rave about. Not bad, just so so.Their beers are decent. I had The Red, a good representation of the red style. Other half had the Mr. Pleasant Porter. Like many, this one was a tad on the thin side. A good Porter needs to stand up and have some mouth feel to it. Again, not a bad brew, just so-so.Nice place to come hang out for a bit. Service is decent and prices are fair.“
“Great service, very friendly staff who are also informative! Ordered the hog fish sandwich and fish croquettes. The croquettes are these delicious fish cakes deep fried- wow! It was my favorite item that I ordered. Definitely recommend. The hog fish was a yummy sweet fish fried and placed on a sweet hamburger bun with a thin leaf of lettuce. Tartar sauce is a must , otherwise it can be a rather dry sandwich. I’ll be back- certainly a hidden gem.“

Arepas Donde Flor is an old-school food truck conveniently located behind Napa Auto Parts off of College Blvd. not much to look at, but I still had hope.I ordered the Capira, an arepa loaded with chicken and cheese. The ten minute wait was a good sign that I'd homemade. The arepa was good, definitely full of chicken and the cheeses were melted into the package. Overall, Arepas Donde Flor is with a stop-good food, good service at a decent price.“
“We visit ballast point often and finally tried this place out, it’s been a must at each visit since. Their fish and chips are mine and my husbands favorite and each one of their soups are equally delicious! We just recently tried their ice which did not disappoint!! There’s free parking and designated restaurant parking, great views of Tampa, and a nice dock to walk down before or after your meal. We can’t wait to come back!“

“Went here for the first time with my family the other day. Although we spent $14 for only a latte and croissant, that seems to be the going rate these days for most specialty coffee. We appreciated how clean it was inside but also the cleanliness and professional appearance of the staff. Lately at other major chain coffee shops it seems you need blue hair, piercings everywhere, and lots of body art to be a welcomed employee there. At foxtail all 3 of the younger staff members were all very clean cut looking with nice hair and freshly pressed button down shirts, friendly and smiling, and able to answer questions and converse with customers. We also LOVE the glass coffee cups! Makes you feel like you’re at central perk or Lukes Diner. We will be going back here!“
“I had been looking for great Cajun seafood. Visited this place and have gotten addicted to the crawfish dinner. O my the rice was amazing delicious and roux was speechless. I don’t even like to frequent food trucks but this place is special and I drive across town in Tampa traffic when I can to get good dinner. “Mad Dogs is a fun locals' spot with good food, proper pints and friendly staff and regulars! A local recommended this place to me while I was on a business trip. They have a small outside bar and seating area that is more like a front porch at your buddies house. The inside has several tables and another bar area. I sat at the the inside bar where you get full service and menu. They have a couple tvs and when the bar tender/manager saw me watching a game on my phone he changed the channel for me without asking. The beer tap offering is up to snuff with a few English pints of which to choose. Their menu has several English, Irish and American choices. I chose the fish and chips (pic attached). It was perfect. The fish was hot, crispy and delicious. The amount of hand it fries was ridiculous but they were salted well and hot. Everyone knew each other and they made me feel welcomed. It was such a good experience I'll be back to try the burger soon!“

“I normally don't write reviews, but in this case I am!! My SIL planed a surprise Birthday Dinner for her husband over a month ago, the HULA BAY CLUB was recommended to her as they live in GA. She called to inquire about hosting this event on 4/20, and to set a reservation and if possible to have it by the water, she was told no reservation could be made, but she would just need to come an hour before the set time of the event. Upon our arrival we were told that the restaurant was closed due to construction. This information wasn't communicated to her when she called to inquire about hosting this event there. Needless to say panic & frustration set in immediately, as she was expecting 22 guest to arrive within an 1hr 1/2. Hannah & Julia the sweet (Hostess) provided us with the standard response as to what they could possibly do to accommodate us, but that wasn't working, so Julia went to speak w/Emily the (Manager) as we were adding our names to the wait list.Out comes Emily (Manager) to obtain some additional information as to the arrival time of the guest and as well as the "Birthday Boy", with that info she provided us with a plan, we expressed our gratitude as we know that she's having to manage other patrons as well. Within twenty-five minutes...Emily comes out and states that our area is ready. We follow her, thinking that we would have to set apart from each other through out the restaurant, but PRAISE GOD & EMILY we didn't, she decided to open the Hula Bay lower dinning deck (by the water) for the event! She also made sure we had everything we needed, along with an AMAZING, OUTSTANDING, PROFESSIONAL, KINDHEARTED (Server) Nat she was the BEST! !!! While I expected the food to be good, I was really surprised at how good it was and how great the young staff interacted with the customer! Once inside I noticed they have a small bar area where customers were watching sports and a few tables to sit to eat. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. My friend ordered the cheese pizza and I ordered the pizza with grill chicken. Honey when I got home to eat I was in love. The pizza absolutely delicious, I was shocked how tasty it was.
