“Great for Date night. It's Right on downtown strip with plenty of outdoor seating. Tiki Masala was great $18 naan bread was fresh and warm, but small portion of chicken, but it was perfect for me - just giving a heads up for others. Husband got the Hot Nashville chicken sandwich $ 15 and said it was great. Server disappeared for a bit- but overall, it was good ?“
“Absolutely loved my lunch experience at Casita Taqueria in the heart of St. Petersburg's vibrant Grand Central District! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff making me feel right at home. The tacos were simply delicious - bursting with flavor and freshness, and the variety of toppings and salsas provided the perfect kick. Highly recommend trying their homemade chips and guac too - so tasty!Marisa Balletti-Lavoie“
“Charlie was a very attentive and efficient server and we had an all-around great experience. Do NOT skip the hushpuppies here, they are some of the best we’ve ever had. Steamed crab legs were incredible as was the ahi tuna. Wish we’d had room for the banana bread pudding but we’ll make sure to get it next time - can’t wait to come back here!“
“All these Kava bars are categorized by Google as restaurants or alcohol bars or coffee shops it seems. So most of the rating questions don’t apply.Having said this, this is my favorite Kava/Kratom bar in the St. Pete/Tampa area. The staff is all very friendly and even more so as you become a regular. It can get busy and sometimes there is a line to wait in during rush hours, but nothing to deter you from coming in. It just means it’s popular and they serve great products.Don’t forget to try Evie’s Bakery items in the display case. All home made by a local. Some are vegan, some are not, but every single thing I have tried has been crazy delicious. There is a lot of free parking right out front which is nice, it’s pet friendly, and vape friendly indoors and cigs allowed outside on the large covered patio area/back yard; also great for friendly dogs.Working remotely here is great if you don’t have to take any calls. There are plenty of outlets, free fast wifi, and quite a bit of seating for laptop users including couches. Each kava tender plays their own selection of music, which helps keep the environment interesting.Note for remote workers only:I do wish they would keep the volume down during business hours, especially the bass. It’s basically impossible to take a business call or zoom meeting without my manager and coworkers asking to repeat myself or asking why it’s so loud where I am. Since the music is loud, the patrons talk much louder which just adds to it. I would suggest business hours have much lower volume, and then around 5pm crank it back up. But that’s just a personal preference as a remote worker. I started going to two other bars more often during work hours. Or just working from home. If you’re not taking/making calls during work, none of the above applies.Overall, I love this place, and have made some good friends here and even reacquainted with some from years ago.I highly recommend their Kratom (not a kava drinker here), and their prices are some of the best around.“
“Been here several times, and the service and food is always amazing. Birch and Vine lost my Christmas Eve reservation that I made six weeks in advance and even showed them confirmation on my phone. They didn’t even apologize or try to accommodate us. The manager Parkshore Grill was so nice and understanding she made a table for my family of eight and saved our Christmas Eve.“
“This place is an absolute gem! We love coming here for the gluten free pastries, and their drinks are delicious!! It is dog friendly as they have outside seating and while we were there there were some dog treats available.Dietary restrictions: We are gluten sensitive and love coming here because the gluten free pastries are delicious! They also offer oat milk, and non dairy options.Parking: There’s a big parking lot right next to the shop.“
“Today was my first visit to this restaurant and I could not have been more pleased! The food was amazing.....but the best part was Elijah! He is, without a doubt, the kindest person I have met in a very long time! If I'm in the area again I will absolutely eat here again!“
“This Is a unique and GREAT fun spot if you love doggies! Bring your pooch or just swing by and witness pure greatness as you can grab a drink and watch puppies of all ages play in a secured area. It's like walking into heaven. 100000% recommend for both locals and visitors alike. Such a great spot!“
“We had a great meal here! The bruschetta was wonderful as a starter. My partner got the hot honey pepperoni pizza and loved it. It was big enough for two people and loved having the leftovers later. The truffle pasta was creamy and flavorful without being overpowering. Our server Alexis was great too!Great meal! Great time!“
“We actually decided to try this place because a couple doors down, the Cuban place ended up having bad customer service and bad sanitary practices. And of course this place was not a disappointment at all. The service was great. We had the Greek chicken salad, with a flatbread pizza. It was really good. And despite the fact that it was only one waitress who pretty much handled the whole place. In fact she let me try a sample of her three favorite beers. And they were all very good, I ended up going with the sour flavored one, Florida version. Needless to say she was very good. We didn't feel the service was lacking. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. If we weren't just visiting from out of town, we would definitely be back, and we highly recommend. ??“
“Food is amazing as is the service!! Best people you will ever meet and you always feel welcome and at home. We come here often and have never once had a bad meal or bad service - to C Allison - we witnessed your tirade and your reported experience simply never happened. You were rude, impatient and lied about being a police officer and started taking photos of the manager when you were completely out of line and delusional. I truly hope you mean it when you say you won’t be back because no one wants to see you in this wonderful establishment again.“
“I went here on Thursday Feb 15. Nice cafe with lot's of seating and small bar area. I had the chicken wrap and it was amazing. I also had the salad and it was so fresh with strawberries, alfalfa sprouts and a bunch of other yummy ingredients. So Good!!! The owner and staff were friendly. The wine is very good also. I will definately be back.“
“This is a hidden gem. I have eaten here twice, both time fantastic. Both my visits were for lunch but this visit I tried the hand tossed pizza. It was fantastic.Very nice little facility, but kinda hidden on the back of this lot. Nice outdoor seating, but I have always set inside.Service has always be great and I'm hoping to go back again this week while I'm in Tampa.“
“If you're looking for a delicious and unique dish in St. Petersburg, FL, look no further than the Norwegian salmon and egg crepe at the Wooden Rooster. This exceptional dish combines the delicate flavors of smoked salmon and fluffy eggs inside a light and savory crepe. The salmon is perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of smokiness to complement the rich, buttery flavor of the eggs. The crepe itself is expertly crafted, with a tender texture and just enough thickness to hold the filling without overwhelming it. What sets this dish apart, however, is the creative twist on traditional Scandinavian flavors. The crepe is topped with a generous dollop of tangy crème fraîche and a sprinkle of fresh dill, which adds a bright, herbaceous note to the dish. The crepe is also served with a side of pickled cucumbers and red onions, which provide a refreshing contrast to the richness of the salmon and eggs. The Wooden Rooster is known for its commitment to locally-sourced, sustainable ingredients, and this dish is no exception. The salmon is sourced from a nearby fishery, and the crepe is made with organic, non-GMO flour. The result is a dish that not only tastes amazing but also supports local farmers and fishermen. Overall, if you're in the St. Petersburg area and looking for a standout dish, the Norwegian salmon and egg crepe at the Wooden Rooster is a must-try. With its expertly balanced flavors and commitment to sustainable, locally-sourced ingredients, it's a dish that truly stands out from the crowd.“
“I am an employee here but I must say the team is wonderful to work with. Prices are awesome and I love the art gallery vibes! If you've never been, I highly recommend a visit! They are often having special promotions or events that change daily so keep checking back! If you're an artist, there's a possibility you could showcase your art here as well and sell it. :)“
“We stepped in for a bit to cool down from the heat outside so it was a short trip but wanted to shout out the BFC - big f***ing cookie! This thing was HUGE! Massive gooey warm cookie still bubbling in the skillet with 3 scoops of ice cream. The others in my group ordered frozen drinks for the same price ($10) but this BFC was definitely a DD win! I don't drink and we didn't order anything else so my review is pretty limited, but that cookie gets an easy 5 stars from me.“
“I love this place so much. I’ve been going here for years. And I always get the same thing… The turkey fig sandwich. It’s a really tiny spot with only a few tables inside and a few outside. Great location, amazing food, and just great vibes with the people working inside. You can’t go wrong with anything hereThe only downside is, they’re not always open and that’s really disappointing when you’re in the mood for something special and they are closed lol“
“Wonderful menu. It was hard to choose what to order. Everything was delicious. The coffee was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant. The staff was nice. The prices were very reasonable. We spent about the same as we spend at a popular chain pancake place- except it was so much better.“
“Frescos Waterfront Bistro is a hidden gem in St. Pete with a stunning waterfront view. My recent experience there was exceptional. The Angus burger was cooked to perfection, easily one of the best I've had in a long time. My wife ordered the St. Pete Bowl, and it was phenomenal; the flavors were exquisite, and the portions were generous. The ambiance was delightful, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Frescos for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in St. Pete!"“
“My wife and I came here for lunch, and just WOW I had the mushroom pizza and I thought I was eating a steak pizza, it had such amazing flavor. The customer service was amazing, we sat at the bar and literally watched them make our tasty pizza's. Touché and highly recommend ?“
“One of 3 ice cream places within a stone's throw. Twistee Treat can't be missed since the building is a literal ice cream cone. Parking is the side of the building and butts up against a neighborhood. There are two service windows. Seating outside with a decent amount of tables/chairs and benches. Menu wise there is a variety - all the ice cream fixings including a ton of different flavors. They also had Italian ice and some limited food options like hot dogs and nachos. Service was friendly and quick. Happy with our ice creams - I got a waffle cone with sprinkles and it hit the spot.“
“Great Food here every thing came out nice and Hot and fresh. The grouper was tasty and spiced Good with a nice crisp. The frys were great also. The chips and salsa were really good also.good service by the bar tender also. Can't ask for much more give them a try.“
“So I was leaving the Julian Marley concert and came into pelican. At this point all I wanted was a water because I felt super overheated. As I'm trying to get the bartenders attention this random security chick comes up with a bottle of water and a cup of water as well and tells me to keep the water bottle on the back of my neck.I appreciate you random security chick. You're a lifesaver“
“We came for Happy Hour and we were thrilled. Drinks were $8, wine $8 beer $8. Fantastic selection. The food was outstanding. We had oysters, fried sea smelts and fried artichokes. Just delicious. We highly recommend coming here for Happy Hour. Our waitress Christine was the cherry on top. She was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We will definitely return next week! Thanks for a great time!“
“The service is always great and the baristas are very helpful. The atmosphere is nice too. You can work from this location pretty easily. I'm giving 4 stars for the food because the quality is kind of inconsistent. I can order the same menu item multiple times and it will be slightly different (not mixed enough, less/over sweetened, etc). But I love the mobile app and preorder option.“
“Great food , great service, nice little dive joint in a good way . I was pretty sure it was good as soon as I walked in and I was right ! Sat at the bar and the girl , named Rose , was very pleasant and good at her jobParking: Small lot , other parking available nearby“
“I came on a sunday for brunch andbwas greeted by the most amazing young woman. She wasvqell versed in the food, very articulate andbquite lovely. Which is not paet of this review. I was surprised at her sunshine personality and im sure she is an asset. The food was very good and I love the open atmosphere. I will definitely come again and tell all my friends. Well Done.“
“We were visiting from out of town and stopped here, we actually came back a 2nd time and watched a Braves baseball game on tv before going to a Rays game.Aaron was a great server, I think that was his name, he is from Alabama.Loved the atmosphere and will definitely come back next time we are in town.“
“Mighty Fine We’ve been to the original Bavaro’s in Tampa and always enjoyed it. This was our first time to their St Pete location. I think it’s even better. The restaurant is buzzy and comfortable and not too large. The servers are great. Monica was our server and she was helpful, efficient and very pleasant. We started with a couple of house cocktails—a little pricey but very good. I especially liked the Smoked Rosemary Negroni Sour. We went on to share the Garlic Bread. I expected a few pieces, but this was more like a 12” pizza covered in butter and garlic and cheese accompanied by some of their delicious pomodoro. We took about half of it home. We also shared the Wood-fired Broccolini. Again, it was a surprisingly large order and super tasty. Next we shared a bowl of the Tomato Basil Soup which was excellent. Then we shared a very good Caesar Salad. That was followed by a delicious Penne ala Vodka with Chicken. We took some of that home as well. We took a jar of the Pomodoro home with us. I’m glad we finally found our way to St Pete’s Bavaro.“
“So I accidentally made reservations with the wrong Mad Fish for 4:15 pm we walked up and the owner stated we don’t open till 5pm but if you come back in 15 mins we can get you in . The food was amazing and so was our waitress Ciarra !!!! We can’t wait to come back next year. Mad Fish is amazing !!!!“
“Hands down, best Japanese restaurant in St. Pete! I loved everything we ordered. All meals has different shades of flavors - chef definitely knows what they are doing. Affordable, but food tastes better than in some $$$$ restaurants. It’s not just a hipster place, go try it!“
“Been hearing a lot of people brag about this place. So I tried it out and it was pretty good. The only thing I would suggest. I bought a double cheeseburger but they charge you for everything on it the lettuce tomatoes onions cheese. Instead of just charging more for the burger. Had a good experience Must try it out.“
“Went here with my whole family (just 5 of us) around 1:00 pm on the weekend. Great atmosphere, just off the road. Waitstaff was friendly and seated us right away on the patio, it was very nice out. Food was quicker to arrive than expected. Veggies were prepared wonderfully! Normally I’m not a fan of restaurant prepared vegetables but I thought this was excellent, broccoli and corn. My grandmother thought the broccoli stalks were a little firm but tasted great. Fries were special, very crispy thick cut fries. ISeafood we ordered was shrimp, mahi, mahi tacos, and grouper nuggets. Everything was SPECTACULAR! Great size mahi filet and the sauces were delicious. Our server was Jack, and he did an excellent job and brought everything we needed and checked on us an appropriate number of times to make sure everything was going well. Very friendly! Seriously recommend stopping by here if you’re in St Petersburg!Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian burger options, plenty of veggie friendly sides!Parking: We parked in the main lot. They have parking down the street if the main lot was full.“
“I HAD A SUCCULENT DELICIOUS AMAZING WET MOIST PRIME RIB FROM HAROLDS AND IT WAS DEVINE. ME AND BARB HAD SUCH A GOOD MEAL WE COULD BARELY MOVE AFTER WE LEFT. CLOVARIOUS WAS AN AMAZING WAITER AND MADE SURE WE DIDNT WANT FOR NOTHING EVEN THOUGH HE WAS CLEARLY A LIBRUL IF YOU KNOW WHAT IM SAYIN. RECOMMEND 10/10 WE WILL BE BACK TO SLURP UP SOME WET AND MOIST MEAT FROM Harold Seltzers Steakhouse“
“Mahi tacos delicious! I enjoy the selection of street tacos and American style tacos. There is a nice variety of appetizers, adult drinks, and main foods. Seating in an outside covered space but when it's windy and rainy some tables will get wet.Parking: Depending on the time of day you can find parking directly in front or in the street adjacent. Central is always a popular place so don't be afraid to drive around a little“
“Delicious breakfast and lunch menus. Also have happy hours with small plates. I have not tried the dinner menu yet. Park your vehicle at the sun dial garage for 1 dollar an hour to avoid the on street parking which is limited to 2 hours.“
“Amazing as always, the service was pretty solid, nothing crazy and got to us quite quickly. The chicken was spot on and I absolutely love the sandwiches, grilled chicken sandwich is absolutely top tier, the price is good and the food is better. Plus it also gives you a good feel when you go through the drive thru or go inside, it doesn't feel like everyone hates being there, it felt welcoming and peaceful. Which is honestly hard to find when it comes to fast food, so I can easily say this is a great place to stop by for food.“
“An awesome community-focused, queer friendly, old school coffee shop. House baked muffins were excellent and I enjoyed their tea selection. Others in my group got coffee and that was great too! This place has such great vibes. Plus there's a community garden across the street for more good vibes ?“
