“We went for lunch. I had the bacon, ranch flatbread with chicken. It was delicious and had a lot of chicken. My husband had the Grouper sandwich and it was a very generous portion. Our waitress was a sweetheart and vey attentive. My only complaint is we had to move from our river front table to a back room because the air conditioning was so cold. The outside temperature was 80 degrees and inside was about 65, so it was very uncomfortable.”

“The food was great but the drunk guys at the bar tried to get me to pay for his bill and his bully guards tab. When I refused, I was yelled at, cursed at, threatened, completely and utterly publicly disrespected, and I honestly was afraid to leave right away because I thought I would continue to get THUGGED in the parking lot. I took pictures of the clowns who tried to thug me and will share it willingly with anyone who interviews thugs who tried to extort tourists or other ppl from out of town who visit Astor Floridas Castaways Restaurant Bar and Grill. I was disappointed when, after staff heard this guy shout at me, all they said to the guy was “be nice” then left the room. The harassment continued the staff did not stop the threats or shouting! WTF Castaways? When I left, I met the dish washer guy at the corner store and gave him a copy of my business card as long either photos of the thugs. I sure hope he was honest and gave the information to the owner! Please 86 these guys. They should be permanently BANNED from your restaurant and charges brought up; I’m reporting it to the local police first thing Monday morning. Stop the crime! Stop extortion! There is no excuse!!!”

“Food is great. Service is wonderful. Sometimes when it is busy, you need to have patience because this is a Subway in A gas station so they dont have the hours to have tons of employees on at all times, so during peak hours they get lined. However the staff is amazing and they are well worth the wait.”

“ordered our first pizza. got wings and 2 pizzas, $32. felt the wings were small and didn't get many. flavor was good for spicy one. pizza was more like a medium sized but tasted good not greasy. ingredient amount was awesome. Will get again. loved how you express your love for God on box.”
