“If I could give Luca Osteria 10 stars I would!! I first found this place from a food blogger on instagram and I am so glad I did. First thing you must make a reservation before going because there is limited seating and this place is always full. We didn't have a reservation and the hostess was so helpful to get us a spot at the bar. The manager saw that we felt very crowded at the bar so they were able to give us a table for two. Even though it's a little smaller inside, the restaurant is so beautiful and classy. We had the perfect date night. We started with a couple appetizers the patate frite and the Local Stracciattella. The patate frite was so perfectly crispy and creamy with the sharp flavor of the truffle. The creamy Stracciattella with the crispy bread was the best combo. For our entree we ordered the short rib bolognese with fresh pappardelle pasta. Now I don't usually order the bolognese, it's usually just basic flavors but I truly enjoyed this one thanks to the short ribs. My husband ordered a pasta with bucatini pasta that was delicious too. We were so full from this lovely meal but we had to try a dessert. We were recommended to ordered the Pistachio Semifreddo, it was very different. It was sweet and salty and the chocolate ganache was so perfect. One thing I really appreciated from this restaurant was the employees they were so attentive and after every single meal they cleaned and wiped down our table. I have never seen that before at any restaurant even the fanciest expensive places don't even do that for you. We can't wait to go back and try new items on the menu. And I will recommend this place to anyone that's in Coral Gables. And if you ever need anything, ask the manager JJ.“

“We made a reservation for our Anniversary (24-02-18) after looking at some online reviews in the area we were staying in Miami. SO happy we chose here to celebrate our anniversary! The atmosphere was very inviting, busy yet flowing with a full dining room. Our waiter Andreu was very welcoming asking us if we were there for a special occasion. With our anniversary he provided us each with a glass of champagne! “Absolutely wonderful! I'm trying to convince my husband to go back tonight, our last night in Miami. There is nothing I didn't love about this restaurant. The atmosphere was like being in my Nana's home. Sure, it's tight on space, but so was Nana's kitchen. And it was packed on a Monday night, a generally slow night for restaurants. Our server, Tomas was a pleasure to work with. Attentive, but not bothersome. He offered suggestions without pressure that we felt at another Italian restaurant nearby. “My husband has always wanted to eat at Carbone in NYC, but the waitlist is so long. We were happy to score at 5:30pm reservation while visiting Miami. There is both indoor and outdoor dining. The vibe is that of old NY Italian. We were seated and our server immediately introduced herself. She took our drink order and the fresh bread, fennel and cauliflower were brought out to the table. For an appetizer we ordered the prosciutto and mozzarella. The mozzarella was so fresh it was still warm! It was so good!!! The prosciutto was sliced perfectly and tasted amazing. We shared the lobster ravioli. The ravioli was 99% lobster and stuffed. It was amazing. The sauce was creamy yet light. For our entree we ordered the shrimp scampi that was priced per piece. These shrimp were gigantic! We each had 2 shrimp and it was plenty. We were so full we decided not to have dessert but our server brought out some Italian cookies with a candle for my husbands birthday. This meal is definitely in our top 10!“

“We ordered 3 pizzas for delivery and it only took 20 minutes to arrive. One of them we got vegan cheese on, and it was absolutely delicious. Almost impossible to notice it wasn’t real cheese. The other 2 pizzas were just as amazing, zero complaints. I do however think the white sauce they sent on the side was unnecessary and bland but the pizzas were so wonderful it wasn’t needed anyway. Every time I go I don’t feel welcome, the waiter/waitresses make it obvious that they don’t want to be there, and lack knowledge regarding Italian food. I’ve had the waitress come back after 15 minutes of ordering because she forgot our order even though the restaurant was empty. Living in brickell, we also went once to the restaurant an hour and a half before closing, I understand the people working want to go home, but they start cleaning up the restaurant and putting all chairs up while we’re still eating, making us feel pressured to leave. They even want to take away our plate while we’re on our last slice of pizza. We keep coming back because we are locals and the food is awesome. But I think a more enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and respectful staff would bring more costumer around the city. We’ve gone multiple times at night so I’m not sure if in the morning it’s a different environment and staff.“
