“It ain’t fancy, and as a large mammal, a few of the chairs didn’t inspire confidence in their structural integrity. But they quickly provided a solid chair, and the mild embarrassment over the chair was well worth the excellent service and incredible food. The flaky whitefish fillets are massive and perfectly battered and fried. The cheese curds are delicious and the basket was well-filled. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the coleslaw and grilled shrimp she ordered, and the food came to our table faster than I dared to hope. I’m not a marinara person but my wife is and she says theirs is, in her words, “awesome!” We will DEFINITELY be back!“

“Delicious fried food. We got the fish finger special and the grilled fish with fried okra, cheese grits, and coleslaw. The dishes come with hush puppies.Unfortunately, the "grilled" fish came out more like pan sauteed fish coated in a lemon pepper rub. The grilled fish was too salty for my tastes.It's important to note they fry everything in peanut oil. They are also a cash + check only place. No cards.“

“We ate breakfast here on a Friday morning. The waitress was very friendly and did a good job taking care of our family. The coffee was a surprise- very good! Food was all exactly as ordered and described in the menu. We would return if in the area again.“

“To be honest, when we first pulled up to this little place, I didn’t want to get out of the car and definitely refused to go inside. Being that we drove for a while, we decided to give it a try. Thank goodness we did. Once inside, it was a different story. The server was the nicest person we ever met and the food was awesome tasting.
