“First glance its very cute. When you walk inside it is very small. There were about 15 options for ice cream and many more smoothie, sundae and milkshake options. The shop, along with all the other stores, closed at 6. It should be open much later especially during spring break. I say this because it was very busy and if it were open later it would have so much more business. Needless to say it was a great experience and great ice cream. Was it worth $20 for a waffle cone and sundae. No. But I believe a 4 star us fair for an honest business with hard working employees.”

“Sisters! Wow! Great food. Fun outdoor atmosphere. Deck dining with umbrellas for shade. Indoor atmosphere seems old school and clique-would recommend seating outside. Menu has great Italian fare offerings. Lots of apps, salads and entrees. Our server Jax was amazing!! It was a busy Saturday. Takeout was happening and all tables were full! We were a large party and he more than accommodated all of our requests, he was generous, helpful and happy. The other servers and hostesses we encountered looked miserable and acted so- we were so pleased to have Jax! Calzone, pizza, tuna salad, Cesar salad, chicken Parmesan, all tasted great! The dipping oil is very tasty to accompany the bread prior to the meal. Would definitely come back here next time we are in Boca Grande”

“Went in bar one afternoon because it looked very edgy. What a find. Very old Florida with a neat history. Tried to make a reservation but they would booked. Called the next day and had a cancellation for dinner. Best in Boca. The environment is beautiful and food and service is superior. If you are in the area and can get in don’t miss”

“I like to come to this beautiful Inn to get away from the mayhem that is Miami. This place very lovely with an amazing staff. You are always warmly greeted and room service is amazing. The dinners are always delicious always with a wonderful selection to choose from. Austin the dining room manager is always so polite and accommodating to all our needs. This place has an old Florida feel and the beaches are the most beautiful I have ever seen with sunsets that are beyond words. Definitely worth the money for a very relaxing weekend! Looking forward to our next visit!”
“Newlin's serves the best lobster roll I have eaten including our trips to Maine. They have a variety of seafood and breads that are outstanding. We always make several trips here during our 2 weeks on the island.”

“This is another fun place—a restaurant next to the marina (Boca Grande)—. So, good food, reasonable prices (I had BLT, delicious and under $20.00), but service just a bit slow. No wonder: people were lined up outside. We waited over 40 minutes—but it was worth it.”

“Awesome little place to grab a bite. Has the seaside shack feel to it. We went for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hog wings appetizer and the mango salsa topped mahi fish sandwich flaked apart and was nice and moist. We will definitely be back to try their famous smash burger!”

“My wife and I stopped in here on a whim last week for a quick glass of wine. We spoke to many regulars who raved about the food and every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly. We did not eat during this stop but we're definitely going back the next time we're in the area.”

“What brings us back to this place over and over again is the views! SWFL charm through and through! The food is always fantastic and very consistent. I ordered the shrimp and grits this time with the blue crab and corn chowder soup as a side. This chowder is FANTASTIC! I could hardly share with my husband it was so good, sweet and so savory. Forget the cup, go with the bowl! It’s he shrimp and grits were so good I forgot to take pictures. Just cheesy enough to not over power the shrimp flavor. High five to the chef. The food is more pricy, however you know it’s going to be good and consistent so it’s worth it. The staff is extremely professional and patient. This is a restaurant for a romantic date or a celebration. I’ve also gone here for a wedding! Yes it’s that beautiful! Totally recommend a sunset timeframe as you can see from the pictures.Parking: We were able to find a spot but have struggled in the past. However this time they had a parking lot monitor so maybe that’s the difference.”
“I didn't visit the inn, but did visit the restaurant. The burger was delicious! My mom's rueben was a giant portion & she loved it. The food is VERY pricy ($19.95 for a burger and side of cole slaw. They charged $1.50 for pickles! Lots of upcharges) The service was okay. The server seemed less than happy to be there. Not terrible, just not great considering the pricing. Highlights were the beautiful animals (birds, tortoise, lizards). Also, the delicious icecream, which is homemade. The burger was smoky and delicious.”

“Where do I start? Well, you will walk In to a very fun and laid back atmosphere that is crewed by a very young but professional and efficient team. The menu is mostly made up of seafood dishes but there are a few land lover options. We opted for the conch fritters, conch chowder and Ceasar salad to start which were all amazing. The chowder and fritters had more conch meat in them then any other restaurants I have tried. We washed the appetizers down with extremely cold and fairly priced beers. For the main course we chose a blackened shrimp scampi and blackened scallop scampi both of which were absolutely amazing. The place was packed and again run by a team of young professionals that kept the operation running like a Swiss made watch. Erin, who seemed to be our main server really stuck out handling the bar, taking tables in the dining room, handling to go orders and working the dish machine without skipping a beat and maintaining a smile and pleasant attitude. We will return to this location every time we are in ft myers!!”
“Everything I've had is excellent, but The Floridian omelet is next level amazing! Succulent seafood, perfectly cooked eggs with cheese and hollandaise sauce. Every bite is heaven!”

“Excellent food and service. Ordered take out this evening, the weekly special, it was to die for. Veal, prosciutto, artichoke and mushrooms in a marsala sauce. Will definitely be ordering more take out.”
“They have a lot of essentials you might forget or not want to pack when staying at the resort (like sticks of butter and eggs, condiments, etc) and some nice to have stuff like fishing poles, donuts, beer, and ice cream.”

“I am fairly new to town, moved here in October but have been loving trying all the local restaurants. Most are fairly decent, but at the same time very loud. So, it was so nice to find this restaurant off the beaten path that has it all! First, greeted by Host and for the first time actually greeted, he made eye contact the moment we walked in, smiled and welcomed us and gave us a selection of seating. It was warm and inviting very relaxing atmosphere. Service was practically instant! From the menus, waters and offered drinks while we looked at menu. I was very impressed, the entire staff was welcoming, polite and professional. Now onto the real reason we are here, the FOOD! First, I need to mention while we waited, they served us delicious warm bread, with sweet, seasoned butter and dipping oil. We didn't wait long which was a surprise for our food server to bring us our dishes. I didn't even taste it and knew it wasn't going to disappoint. I got the Chicken Marsala and My husband got the special which was the Chimichanga Texana Special. My husband let me have his first bite since I honestly couldn't decide between the two lol It was soooo Good! Yum! that should be offered on the main menu!! My Chicken Marsala was DELISH! It was served over Fettuccini and it exceeded my expectations! Was one of those meals you just keep eating because it's so good then you're stuffed. I still couldn't finish it the portion was so generous. Wish I hadn't stuffed myself after I saw the desserts! I guess we will need to add this to one of regular spots to try some. So, hats off to the Chef! We were very satisfied. And just like when we arrived the Host thanked us for coming, he was very gracious. So, from the moment we arrived until we left, we were very satisfied and will definitely be recommending them. AND making this one of our regular stops for Great food!”

“We ate Sunday breakfast at The Hills for the first meal we have ever had there. Not only was the Hostess (Sandy) and our waitress (Joan) super hospitable and friendly, but we actually made some new friends from a nearby table. The service was excellent and the food very good. We can’t wait to try one of their Wednesday or Friday evening dinners.”

“This subway is awesome! The owner is very friendly and he speaks some Spanish. We came in with 12 guys. Instead of looking flustered and annoyed at the surprise rush, they greeted us with smiles and were extremely friendly. The bread seems fresher here and the subs better. Will definitely be back.”

“I took my daughter to Rum Bay Restaurant for her birthday. It was her first time. She enjoyed it so much- from the boat ride over to the food at restaurant, service was excellent also. Weather was perfect- not too hot with a nice breeze. All in all we both experienced a delightful day. She already wants to go back.”

“Just stopped in for drink and appetizers. Friendly, quick service, delicious specialty drinks and the appetizers were very good. Only place on island so we didn't have much choice, but we were pleased. Would have given higher score, but we really weren't there long. The fried green tomato caprese was delicious!”

“We sat outside by the water and it was very nice and relaxing. I got a chicken po-boy and it might have been one of the best I’ve ever had. It was also the messiest I’ve ever had but worth the extra napkins!”
