We have been to taco mix 3 times since we recently discovered the place, twice in one week! We loved it that much! I love that this is a multigenerational owned and operated restaurant. The first time we went in, the abuela was sitting in the corner, the mom was running the show and the son was in the kitchen! You do not go for the environment, you go for the owners and the food. I enjoyed the rustic, homey, and authentic feel to this quaint kitchen/restaurant. The service was friendly and quick and the food was definitely handmade and authentic Mexican.I LOVE Mexican food and I enjoy finding new restaurants to try. I loved my experience here.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I have driven past this place countless times and never once stopped by. I really thought "you can't judge a book by its cover" but still never tried it out. I kept reading through reviews and finally gave it a go. Why on earth have I never been??? I think it's so unique that this place has been here since the 80s, giving it that dated look.
