I started with some nachos and followed with 3 Suchi Rolls Volcano, Firecracker, and Paradise with hot Saki. “This was our first time here, per recommendation. We wanted a sushi roll that was full of flavor with a bit of heat, the diablo delivered. We were recommended, chef’s choice, the Raising Sun roll. It was subtle enough to let the buttery flavors of the the fish shine. We were generously gifted with a cucumber and fish bite, and a round stuffed crisp treat. Which by the way were so good. The round stuffed treat was a burst of flavor. We also ordered the traditional sides. We will definitely come back and try other things off the menu. Everything was delicious and satisfying.“
“If you ever find yourself craving Japanese food after midnight, this is the place to go. I drove 45 minutes from Largo and was worried it was gonna be a waste of time, but I’m very pleased to report that wasn’t the case. Not only was the food quality fantastic, but the prices were pretty low compared to most other Japanese places I’ve been to (the ramen here starts at about $13 compared to $16-17 at other Tampa restaurants). I got the katsu curry, 5 piece nigiri set, fried cheesecake, and 2 extra pieces of nigiri and it all came out to just $30. Very highly recommended!“
“SUSHI IS SUPERB! Been several times and the sushi is consistently fresh and pallet pleasing. Rarely a wait line with personable staff. One thing I love is that you have the option of walking in and sitting at the bar which offers wine, beer and specialty drinks. The service is okay, but it is the sushi chef that brings you back for more.“
“This restaurant is amazing!!…The food, the staff, the ambience!..all amazing!!…Went there last evening with family to celebrate my birthday and had an amazing dinner and an amazing time!!…Can’t say enough good things about our server Elissa and our chef Shawn!!…Elissa took incredible care of us from start to finish and never once did we have to ask for drink refills or anything!!…and Shawn is an awesome chef and not only cooked everything perfectly for us, but kept us smiling and laughing while cooking for us. I highly recommend Kobe for anyone wanting a great meal with great staff and a great ambience!!…Believe me when I say you won’t be disappointed and won’t leave hungry!!“
