“We went to check out Nexus Pizza yesterday and had an awesome experience! Carlos and his team were amazing — friendly, helpful and generous. The pizza was top-notch, just how brick oven pizza should be. We had a Brooklyn-style cheese & a Fornari’s Sicilian. If you love a thick crust, the Sicilian is where it’s at. The Brooklyn crust is on-point. The toppings were all high-quality and flavorful. Definitely check them out! I know we’ll be back!“

“We live in Port Saint Lucie but travel to Orlando often to visit Disney. Slidders was walking distance from our air bnb and when I looked up the menu online I knew we had to try it. They did not disappoint! The food was unique and delicious and the staff was wonderful. We had a party of 9, service was fast. We ended up eating there for dinner 2 nights in a row during our trip and will be back when in the area.“

It's crazy when you don't realize what's in your neighborhood. Please overlook the surrounding area and how it's connected to a run down hotel and just enjoy the inside atmosphere and the quality food. Why wasn't this place packed on a Friday night? Maybe because of the location but it's worth traveling and steering away from your normal chain of restaurants.The fresh garlic loaf they brought out to the table that was soaked in olive oil and fresh herbs was spot on.Appetizers: Bruschetta (bread had a wonderful crisp with fresh tomatoes and balsamic vinaigrette) and Fried Mozzarella Cheese (x2 nice size triangle shaped, but would've enjoyed x3 or x4 for the price).Main Course: Gnocchi di Carlo (the wife actually said this was comparable but had many different flavors that jumped at you then Rome had), Veal Parmigiana w/Fettuccini Alfredo (huge portion size with awesome flavor and fried just right. Needed a little more sauce. Fettuccini tasted fresh and flavorful).Dessert: Homemade Cannoli (you can tell this was not frozen or refrigerated but was actually homemade. “We came on a Thursday night, it was 80s night, with live music and trivia with free drink prizes very fun. The pizza was great we had a 12” pepperoni and ball-breaker it had house smoked pork, barbecue and more. It was good. Definitely come back again. We were checked on frequently and saw management checking in and helping out.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs are some tables are wheelchair height.“

We also loved the garlic knots, light and slightly crispy on the outside, not too doughy- perfection! Sauce was delicious. We went back for the pasta and were not disappointed. “GOOD pizza kinda reminds me of being up north in NY or NJ. Pizza is always good and the zeppoli's remind me of being at the Jersey shore. I usually call ahead, especially on the weekends so I don't have to wait. The atmosphere is only lacking because it's in a shopping mall on a highway (nothing wonderful about cars driving by or a parking lot). “Yesterday was my first time trying Flame Pizza and to say I was surprised is an understatement. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered an XL cheese and Xl pepperoni that was cooked to perfection. And my order of stuffed shells was awesome as well. Great food and service. This restaurant is located inside the Mobil gas station so it isn't as visible as maybe a restaurant with it's own store front. But don't let that deter you. Give them a chance. “Alex! This is the person you want to have for a wonderful experince! We came with not reservation with a group of 7. At the door we were greeted then brought in to a table close to the door. Before entering someone opened the door for us then we were greeted again and welcomed. We took our seats and walks in a wonderful person named Alex. He asked my daughter since she was at the head of the table will she being paying and how she wanted the orders to go as she was the boss. A lol moment with an 8 yr old on her birthday. He then took all of our orders of drinks by memory and had them delivered to our table with not one drink placed wrong as he brought the last 2 waters asked if all was great and if we wanted to place a starter. I replied yes and shortly came the meatballs and antipasto. Meatballs where great and the antipasto was ok. As he came around to check how everything was tasting he took note of drinks and asked if more was needed then brought those and asked if we where ready for our main course orders. He took our orders but what was amazing to us was for the two young girls they didn't want the sauce on the spaghetti and he even asked what kind of spaghetti even though it was not on the order! He made that happen for them and my daughter had loved the meatballs prior so that was also added to the plate. Explaining that it was a scratch kitchen made all the sense as everything came out hot and fresh. My lasagna was great and everyone said the food was perfect. Overall it was a fabulous experince and again I have to thank Alex for this. The late at the end was made with love even though he explained that the frothing part of the machine was not working properly you can tell effort was put in to make it as creamy as possible. Again going above and beyond to make a great experience for us. Since I had paid the way for the family and my daughters friend family they did an extreamly nice gesture and paid without me noticing at the end so I didn't get to see the tip amount but I will be going back and looking for Alex to hopefully have the same experince and send a generous tip to him.
