“Delicious Omakaze experience with a wide variety of sashimi and rolls. My fave was the shiitake rolls. And I was obsessed with the wasabi oil they gave us for the hand roll. The service was amazing and the itamaes the best, we even got to try a very fluffy matcha biscuit and the shaved ice with mint and lemony taste was amazing!”

“I celebrated my birthday at Salao and the attention was first class, from the host, servers, especially Claudia, was wonderful and made sure everything was very special! Also the bartenders were very friendly, especially Adrian who was very gentle and kind! Camilo is a character and sets up the party! Spectacular music, with the Latintime band! That group sings spectacularly and of all genres with original arrangements! Excellent experience in Salao!!”

“Excellent meal and dining experience. My wife and I really miss the old Shula’s 347 and have been waiting for a new go-to restaurant to open in the South Miami/Pinecrest area. We found it…in the same location. The Caesar salad and [not so] spicy tuna tartare were an excellent start complemented by the roasted chicken dish with broccolini on the side. Each plate was as good or better than the last, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was terrific. We even had an unexpected Chef Jeremy Ford sighting as he presented a beautiful Tomahawk Ribeye to a neighboring table. Can’t wait to go back!”

“What a wonderful experience! It is truly a "hidden gem" that is ideal for foodies. The location is small and intimate, but the tables are far enough apart that you don't feel like you're eavesdropping on your neighbors. The menu choices are creative and made with fresh ingredients. We enjoyed the bing bread, bao, wonton in brodo, steak and a gnocchi type dish (I don't recall the name). They told us their menu changes frequently, so we can go more often and try new things. Their wine recommendation was excellent as well. We will definitely be back!Parking: We had an early reservation so it was easy to find street parking. There is a garage nearby, but I didn't notice the cost.”

“This restaurant was walking distance from our hotel and had decent reviews, so we decided to try it, plus there weren't too many options after 7 pm in the area.We had a great server, which suggested perfect drinks, appetizers, and mains.It's too bad they were closing at 10 pm, we would have stayed longer.The restaurant is next to the marina and bottom level to an office building, so I'm sure the bulk of the business is during the daytime and weekends. But, overall, we enjoyed everything which was offered.We loved the food and drinks. But don't bother with the oysters. They were small.The atmosphere felt like you were in the tropics while sitting in a tiki hut.”

“Found this place bc was looking for a coffee shop with good reviews on Yelp. Came here twice in the same week I was down bc it was so good! Came down again to move my son in and had to go back. Avocado toast was the best! Perfect combinations. The flavored lattes and coffee are awesome. Not sure how they make their flavors, but taste so real and not artificial. Got the crème brûlée and tasted like a fresh crème brûlée. Oh and the ambiance is adorable! Rustic. Highly recommend!”

They are happy to accommodate vegetarians, but they will not be able to help you vegans out. This restaurant deserves its Michelin star without a doubt. I find the negative reviews about food poisoning hard to believe when you account for the rigorous demands of maintaining a Michelin rating. However, anything can happen.The drinks were also amazing! Get the refreshing cocktail with mezcal. It is essentially a more fresh version of a caipirinha with a hint of mezcal smokiness.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian meal is not on the menu, but they will tell you all about it if you ask.”

It’s obvious they use only the finest and freshest ingredients in their dishes as the branzino melted in your mouth as did the mushroom risotto. “Antes, hace mucho tiempo era bueno. Pedimos 2 lomos saltados y de verdad que el Lomo no era ni cerquita a serlo.. era una carne durisima de pesima calidad. Ademas demasiado fuerte la salsa, pasada de sal y de soja . Reconsideren su "chef" y proveedor de carne. He tenido restaurante y he comido en excelentes restaurantes peruanos pero este no es lo esperado. y ni hablar de los precios. .Lo que se pago por nada”

“They’re under construction now but the outside seating is covered and adorable. The staff were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I had the empanadas and the potato ball (that was my favorite). Also had the coffee with milk, lightly sweetened with cinnamon and OH MY GOODNESS. Some delicious coffee.”
