“This is hands down the best pizza place in South Florida (and one of the best in the USA!!!) and I've tried many of them and YES! I'm from NY. Every time I've gone to NY I've craved that NY pizza. Well, this is the first time when I go back to NY, I may pass on the pizza altogether because I'm so spoiled by these Jersey Boys (Aaron and Josh) right here in Delray Beach, it's one less thing to go to NY for (well, of course, I do have family there -- I don't just go for the pizza. I also go for the bagels lol ). They have absolutely perfected the "art of the slice." The slices are big and robust, with a firm undercarriage that holds up with a characteristic New York "crunch" when you bite into it. Just the right amount of "pull" on every bite. The texture is perfection. And of course, you've got a wide array of sumptuous varieties. I think I've tried most of them. Service is always with a smile. There is so much repeat business the guys are on a first-name basis with most of their regular customers. Newcomers are always pleasantly surprised and very quickly become regular customers. Delray Pizza has restored my faith in Florida Pizza and in humanity itself. Now I'm honestly thinking of starting a petition to get the Boyz to start making NY bagels.... just imagine.... YUMMM! 😋😋😋“

“Dined there yesterday event with 3 other snowbirds, excellent pizza, great salad. It stand shoulder to shoulder with any other Detroit style pizza.we all agreed as good as it gets. We ate from Detroit. Side note the bathroom I used was all black and stunning.“

“What an amazing brunch for our anniversary! The hostess was super friendly and welcomed us. We sat down and met our waiter Kendall. Was an amazing experience. He was charming, got to know us well (I am gluten free and he help me navigate the menu), and made the experience so exceptional! If we lived locally, I would always request Kendall!

“I needed an Italian restaurant that served the best chicken parm for my husband’s birthday. Being we are from NY, I took to Facebook in search of the regulars suggestions. There were so many choices, but we went with Papa Giuseppe’s. We were a party of 9 and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We ordered 5 apps (bruschetta, shrimp cocktail, mozzarella sticks, baked clams and calamari) and they were all flavorful and delicious. Most of us ordered the chicken parm and it did not disappoint. Absolutely amazing. We were allowed to bring in an outside cake and they served it to us and no additional cake fee. The service was fantastic and they really care about their customers. “Stand Down, Jersey Mike’s! If You Don’t Know About The sandwich Man, i’m here to tell you you don’t know what you’re missing! We have never been here before. It’s always been those sandwich shops or those sub shops who claim to be the best in the business. Let me tell you that they have nothing on this business at the corner of, Congress and Atlantic you must give the sandwich man a chance. I ordered a 6 inch turkey ham, bacon, Swiss lettuce, tomato onion mayonnaise, and mustard sandwich and it was massive. I couldn’t finish half of it. Taking the rest home for dinner. My husband got the steak and cheese, added jalapeños, Swiss and sweet peppers and he said it was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back. Give this place a go.

Vegetarian options: Cauliflower pizza is delicious. Eggplant is delicious and their salads are very good.“

“Just opened Neopolitan style pizza place in the old Amar location and prior to that, the old(now moved to coral gables?) Scuola Vecchia. Gesto, which is owned by Amar, uses the same oven as Scuola Vecchia, which is wood burning, so that’s a good thing as most others use gas. We ordered the simple Margarita to taste the pizza and not necessarily a bunch of toppings. The sour dough pizza, made with imported flour was very very good. The sauce was bright, with the right amount of acidity and the mozzarella was tasty and in the right proportion. In an area with tough competition like Le Sorrel, How ‘Ya Dough’n, Rossano’s and Baciami(which is the only other wood fired oven I know of in the area) this is definitely on par. I hope they are hugely successful as it’s a great addition to the ave.“

“I can’t speak highly enough about this little spot of heaven!!! I have been sending everyone and their mother here for their amazing L&B pie which makes me feel like I’m back on 86th street in Brooklyn!! I’m a huge foodie and this place blows all the pizzerias out of the water..literally…can’t taste the Floridian water 😂😂 The owners are amazing, the food is amazing, the service is amazing!!!
