“SO GOOD! They have so many flavors that were so enticing, it was hard to choose. They have adult flavors (infused with alcohol) and normal flavors. I had the grasshopper (alcohol infused) and the banana pudding, they were delicious! The two ladies working were very nice and let us try multiple flavors. I loved the 80's vibe with records all over the place and they have multiple tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream.“
“I was craving ice cream and decided to take a drive in a town I've never been before. Upon arrival, the parking is very scarce. There was no one there so we were able to park in the front which was very nice. Entering the store was empty which is sad since the ice cream was delicious. The staff seems to be young but not mean which was nice. An older man came in as we were leaving and was very friendly and nice. He had an apron on as he was working. Overall, if I'm in the area, I'll drop by but I won't go out of my way to try it.“

So I parked on the small road, walked up to the back door, and they completed the order without issue.They're always polite, and they over-deliver with an alternative whenever there's something out of stock.“

“The location is clean. Our items were made to order and done correctly. Very tasty Italian ice inter mixed with soft serve ice cream called gelati. Or you can do all Italian ice or all soft serve. There are also toppings and add-ins or you can do one of their pre-made themed treats. Bathrooms are roomie and clean. There is some outdoor patio seating out front by the parking lot. For those of you who don't like indoor spaces that are chilly, bring us sweater. “Great local farm and shop. If you follow them you will know which vegetables in for the week. Today the sweet potatoes were huge! The tomatoes were perfect and I also got the yellow squash because it was irresistible! I went for the fresh squeezed OJ which is the best in the planet…if you want some you better go early because they always sell out! You can have a nice lunch or yummy soft ice cream and enjoy their outdoor area… just a fun place to shop. The staff is super friendly and helpful as well. SUPPORT THE LOCALS!“

“We reached out to Hodge’s Ice Cream 1087 and asked for them to come to my son’s party at Gilbert Park. Scheduling was so easy - I reached out on Instagram and got a quick response. On the day of our party, they showed up on time and had a great system in place for differentiating our party members from the other kids at the park. Service was excellent and all of the kids loved their ice cream. I would highly recommend them for your next event!“
“Nice little coffee shop in downtown Mt. Dora. I had a gingerbread latte and my wife had a snickerdoodle latte. Both were tasty. Not so good that I had to rave about them but they were good enough to enjoy while we walked around and took in all the Christmas lights around town. The store itself is a bit cramped so eating in would be a little uncomfortable but it’s really not that type of place anyhow. They serve sandwiches for lunch and they have a decent ice cream assortment. They even have a few gelato flavors for those with a more refined taste. Overall, I appreciate small businesses like this one. We will be back certainly.“
“One of the only places if not THE only place around that I know of that has dairy free milk and ice cream (MILKSHAKES ) usually in stock and for that I'm so grateful!! Always greeted with a smile too which you don't always get at big chain places. They usually only have one flavor of non dairy ice cream and 1 variety of dairy free milk just a heads up, but for me that isn't a deal breaker because I'm just happy to be able to support a local business and still be able to enjoy a sweet little dairy free treat. They also have a large variety of toppings/add ins, I ALWAYS get some oreos in the shake. It's the little things!! Can't wait to see what next months dairy free ice cream flavor will be. “First visit to the new location. Staff was very friendly and professional. They appear to have worked out the kinks of opening a new establishment. Food was what I called upscale takeout. You order at the counter and then take a number to your seat.Food came quickly and fresh and hot. The custard expresso toffee was delicious.I would definitely recommend this location to all.“
“We shared a banana split, and it was the bomb! This place is locally iconic. Their twisty cone building really grabs your attention! This is a great place for families to treat themselves now and again. Be prepared to wait a little while before you get your order, but it's not too bad in that respect. The staff is helpful and they really hustle. Our order was specific yet perfectly made.“

“The absolute best ice cream I’ve had in a long time. The only downside is they have so many flavors to chose from but I always mix and match anyways :) I live about 20 minutes from this location and it’s always worth the drive. Lastly I never leave there with a stomachache (which is very odd) just goes to show the quality of the ice cream. The staff is great and so many options to sit from inside and out!“
