The only downside is they have so many flavors to chose from but I always mix and match anyways :) I live about 20 minutes from this location and it’s always worth the drive. He offers so many varieties of drinks (Coffee, Lattes, Refreshers, Smoothies, Teas) and food (Pastries, Breakfast Sandwiches, Sweet& Savory Crepes) all with a smile! I chose to go with a February special the strawberry and creme refresher with coconut and it was just the right amount of sweetness, versus the overly sweet Pink Drink at Starbucks. “I honestly was not expecting That Place to be as incredible as it was. It was relaxed and fun, and has some of the best burgers I've ever eaten. I'm not kidding. I have had burgers at almost every restaurant in the tri-city area. I was floored. My friends got a margarita flatbread and a surf and turf burger. Everyone went home happy. As a rainbow-flavored young person with young-people friends, I was not expecting the enthusiastic welcome we received. We all had a wonderful time and want to come back for karaoke on Saturdays.Parking: That Place shares a building with a Thai restaurant. In-house brewed beer with enough variation to please the whole group and then some; try their flights if you've never been there before to sample up to four different drinks. They set up their back room with shuffle board, darts, and Foosball. Best part of our visit is they had a 1930s speakeasy theme the night we stopped in, the staff and most patrons dressed the part really well!“

“This was our first visit to this Takis restaurant. We have been to the one in Lady Lake and loved it and this visit was no different. Food was AMAZING! Was looking forward to the deviled duck eggs as shown on the online "example" menu but they didn't have them on the day. Shoot. And while I realize this is supposed to be an experience, we waited well over an hour for our mains to come out, long after starters and cocktails ran out, and I was about done, restless, and feeling full. So, whatever was special with the mains was sort of lost; at least on me. Our bill was also messed up, they double charged us, and took even more time still, to fix.“

“This place is in a shared market place building. We sat at the bar and had cheesy bread and a sausage and pepperoni pizza with some beer. The oven is wood fired so do expect some ash on the food. The cheesy bread was outstanding. We could have eaten that as a meal. It had great flavor, perfect crisping and the right amount of cheese. Do get the marinara dip. We asked for the pizza to be extra crispy. Emily took the time to make sure it was also perfect. This involved lifting the bottom of the pizza to keep it from burning. All in all this was a great choice. We will be back!“
“A very talented gentleman started this place some years back when I first went looking for a cigar after our pilot brought us into puddle jumpers. Ever since it has been my favorite place to go. When I visit Mount Dora, Tavares, Eustis or Leesburg. My wife does not like cigar bars but she absolutely loves this place. My French bulldog absolutely felt at home. I can enjoy a cigar with out her getting overwhelmed by stale smoke. The air flow is just perfect here and has a very Florida room feeling when around the bar. Very comfortable in the summer and super cozy in the winter months with the fire tower heaters that are here. The humidor is well maintained, you might not find everything here but the cigar selection is excellent. Proper range of beers and wines for pairing with cigars. After a nice day of fishing out on the lake and some burgers or steaks near by this place is the best time spent for a beautiful evening.“

The manager had to come over since the cook misread our pizza order and treated us with cocktails. It was one pie that was halved with different menu specials... but no worries, we were fine. “I like this place. It’s got a cool vibe. But admittedly, the whole food thing is confusing. We went next door to get food and beer; the more restaurant side. Folks there said they only had a few beers and sent us to the bar spot and said they were owned by the same people and we could just order there and have more beer options. Awesome. So went there. I ordered and started a tab. Ordered beer and food. No prob. My friend ordered beer and food and started a separate tab. Easy. Food took a while but it was fine, there were great beer options. Went to close out and I got a beer check. Then they gave me a food check separate where they’d charged me multiple tabs of food. I said, “hey, you put the whole tab on my card,” and the server responded with, “Well, you didn’t tell me you wanted them separated.” Not sure how I would even know to ask that? Anyway, it turned into a hassle that required getting a manager from next door to figure it out. All of that is fine, it worked out. But it *might* be useful to tell people when they order food that it is a whole separate tab and also to track tabs in the system. Or put a sign up. I’d have asked if I’d known.Overall a cool spot but making things a little more seamless goes a long way.“
